Went to the Valvoline in Fredericksburg Virginia right off Fall Hill avenue to get an oil change. The information I have is the store opens at 8:00 a.m. when I arrived there were cars parked in front of the bays waiting. I arrived at about 8:10 a.m. and there were a couple employees in the parking lot but appeared to be they were waiting for somebody to open the store. Lady next to me decided to take her dog for a walk and as of this typing it is 8:35 a.m. and the store is still not open. I've read some reviews with this being a problem with the store not opening on time which it appeared that Valvoline was going to address. I live close to Orange county and have to take route 3 in to get to the store which route 3 is a very congestant road and I did not have any issues with getting here. Interstate 95 traffic is flowing freely so I don't know why this store is not open/apparently the manager is not present. The manager came racing in the parking lot at 8:43 a.m. . I'm not a very picky person but almost 45 minutes late to opening up a store. One time offense fine, however their other people that have reviewed that have complained about the same thing. You have an issue with the manager being late repeatedly. Now we have to wait additional time so they could get everything set up within the store computer log on etc etc etc. I was brought into the shop at 9:15 a.m. only to be told that they didn't have my oil. He advised that he could send me to a location that I normally go to where I don't have any problems. At this point I could have been in and out of the dealer that I normally go to. The Spotsylvania Valvoline did a great job. Even catching extra oil in the engine, because the dipstick color probably doesn't match the oil amount.

I came in for an oil change and also needed a tire rotation. The old lug nuts were so swollen that they were tough to get off. The team had to put in extra effort to rotate my tires, but they handled it with such a positive attitude the whole time. My daughter went for an oil change and air filter was not put back together causing her to breakdown a few minutes after leaving the shop. Called them and they can do nothing locally to rectify. We have to wait for up to 48 business hrs to hear from them. Not happy.

This is my preferred Valvoline because they always do a thorough job! Today we were headed to a movie, so had to leave Valvoline by a certain time. I told them when we checked in and said that we could always come back after the movie if the time constraint was not possible or practical. They assured us they would take care of it! While still being thorough and checking everything, they got us in and out in exactly 15 minutes (for oil change, tire rotation, and air filter change), which was exactly on time. We were very impressed and it felt like a professional pit crew was taking care of us. Fantastic customer service!

I had a wonderful experience today at Valvoline in Fredericksburg, VA. I am a busy mom of three and really didn’t have the time this week to drop the car off somewhere and sit in a waiting room. I was able to stop in and get an oil change in just a few minutes. Super easy! Of course they offer all the extras but were not pushy or rude when I stuck to just getting the oil change. Every person I encountered was friendly, kind, and professional. I plan to make this my regular place for this season of life!
