A wide selection of tires and, rims and now windshield wiperblades. The in store prices are higher than the online price. So,find what you want online have it sent to the store of your choice Tobe installed.

Great service, the mechanic was very nice, only he forgot to give me a sticker for when it's time to get my next oil change. He also put my license plate on for me, free of charge.

Well organized. Came when they were busy. I was able to get signed in, run errands, and come back when they were ready. It took them 30 min tops and I was on my way.

Went there for a full diagnostic, told them I think I have a problem in my battery. They told me all is good. Day after: my car doesn’t start.

If I could give zero stars I would. The guy who owns this auto shop and the one one MLK( 1495 Gulf St 77701) is very rude disrespectful and money hungry. He told me personally "I don't know anything about anything and hung up on my face." He tried to charge me 68 for a $20 job. I don't recommend anybody going here at all not even to his gas station.

Doesn’t even deserve the 1 star I was forced to give him to write this review. He charged $185 for a water pump he didn’t fix even after he was the one who told me the water pump was the issue. He then told me it was the thermostat and it would cost less than $100 to fix but then charged me $280. Car died on me 2x on the way home. Told me either I pay him the $285 and take my car or not. He is rude, disrespectful and does bad business.

The owner is a complete crook. Notoriously gives you one price, then raises the price mid job. He misdiagnosed my truck's issue, and after spending almost $400 replacing a part unnecessarily, he wanted another $150 to fix the real issue. One of the mechanics himself told me the shop was shady and recommended never going there. They use cheap regular oil and tell you it's synthetic, charge you for new parts but will install used parts, and will raise the price on you mid job. All confirmed by a worker there. 0 stars. This crook should be in jail

Went and got my car inspected. Staff were fast and friendly just be prepared to pay cash. I don't know if they only want cash for the inspections or all services.

Update: May 29th, they left a heater core hose broken and I was leaking my antifreeze, whatever they had put in there out. I ended up putting in that gallon I still had in the truck, the 2 gallons of distilled water and I had to buy 4 more gallons of distilled water before I found the problem. I was in the parking lot of the dollar store, thankfully next to O'Reilly. We had to cut our good hose and bypass our heater core just to make it home. Now we have to replace the hose that was good to begin with and the one that they broke TWICE! This place seemed reputable in the beginning but boy was I fooled. I asked simply for them to take my engine but and the engine I had already paid for in my truck. They quoted me $850 to take the engine out and $850 to put the engine in. Then before they had even received the engine I told them I also wanted the transmission seal changed, I was told it would be another $300 for that and transferring some parts from the old engine to the new one, total of $2000. Since other shops wanted $2800 I was thinking I was getting a good deal not a raw one. After about a week or so I was told my truck needed more parts a camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, coolant sensor, oil level sensor heater core connection, motor mounts, and an oil fill tube well I got all those parts over the weekend and brought them in that Monday morning, they didn't get back to my truck until that Friday. After they started taking parts off my truck then they said we need $1000 deposit so fine I brought $1000 cash good thing I made sure to get a receipt. After that the owner told me he only got $850. I told him I had my receipt showing I paid $1000. Then I got another call from the owner telling me that it was going to be another $850 instead of the $300 because of those extra parts they had to put in, the sensors and whatnot, I told him it was a pure labor job and I wasn't going to pay no more than $650 for that work. He agreed. I went up to the shop one more timeon Tuesday May 25th to ask if they needed any more parts and the mechanic told me no but he was concerned about putting in a used gasket. I had to drive to O'Reilly to exchange the gasket out myself because they couldn't pick up the phone and call O'Reilly. Well the owner finally called me yesterday on may 27th, one month after I dropped my truck off and instead of simply telling me my truck was ready he asks me, "when are you going on vacation?" And I responded with, "when am I getting my truck?" Well in the end he charged me for AC work I didn't want done, my hood is crooked, didn't put my brand new knock sensors in the engine, I still have a gallon of antifreeze sitting in the back of my truck and a bag of miscellaneous parts that are probably supposed to be inside the engine. Oh and he ended up charging me for that $150 the first mechanic stole from him. I will be suing to get my money back. Please don't make the same mistake I did, take your beloved vehicle somewhere, anywhere else.

This place seems to specialize in inspections that will be going away in 2025. I brought a 2000 Blazer with leaking transmission cooler lines. Instead of replacing the lines, they tried patching them by cutting off the metal that was leaking and putting rubber hoses in place. Unfortunately, the lines blew out again, and had to get my vehicle towed home. $300 for the repairs that didn't last a week and $150 for the tow after the repair. I paid in cash and I was promised a receipt that was supposed to be left in my vehicle when I picked it up after they closed (due to my work schedule). No receipt so there was no recourse after the failed repair. This IS NOT MECHANIC SHOP. The two mechanics made a comment of the job the mechanic did installing my replacement transmission but did a WORSE job with the repair. This place is a SCAM and it would be foolish to get ANYTHING other than inspection here.

Went here for my inspection the 2 girl that was helping me try to charge me 37 dollar for a 7 dollar inspection. Saying my tint was too dark but they can still pass it for me illegaly and pocket the rest of the money. I went across the street and got my inspection for 7 bucks and they say my tint was legal 25%

The owner was very rude and disrespectful when I only asking questions about why pricing is this much and I was not being rude I just don’t wanna know why and he literally told me I’m done talking to you. I’m gonna talk to this lady (my mom) next to me like I’m a child. I am 26 years old and I just wanted to know what am I spending my money on and then had the nerve to walk away he work told me I was right for asking questions so what does that tell you ,his workers are very respectful. They gave me a reasonable price and an hour later he called me and up the price because for who knows what reason but I feel like that was very unprofessional so I don’t I do not recommend this mechanic shop if u are of color and a woman because he gave and gives the vibes

It is with a sad heart that I must write this unfavorable review. Over the weekend I visited my ailing parent. Upon arriving I discovered that I had some car trouble. I googled searched for a reputable car mechanic. However, I found Discount auto repair in Beaumont!!! This place is far from reputable or a discount. These people attempted to charge me 400.00 dollars to take off a TIRE and a CV JOINT. This wasn't the service that I asked for. I wanted a broken lug nut removed, which they did NOT remove. Additionally, Broke another lug nut and failed to inform me. This place is not the type of business I would go to or recommend to anyone.

I enjoyed my experience. The staff was funny and helpful. Decent pricing. You also have the option to bring your own products for work being done on your vehicle. The only thing is that it's and old school shop with some updated machines. And it's hot. But it's Texas... 🤣. But over all a great and honest place to get your mechanic work done..
