For me, this location is very convenient and located in the same lot as Walmart & Costco. And plenty of parking.

Christian (intake representative) and the entire team at the Chula Vista store were extremely professional and fast! Words can't express my sincere appreciation! Hands down OUTSTANDING service! Also I want to shout out the manager, he was on site AND was actually helping his team...you don't see that everyday nowadays.

Went in 20 minutes before store closed, with flat tire. Turned out it could be repaired, so it was free. Super quick and professional!

I’m very upset I called yesterday for a quote Nick Told me I didn’t need an appointment just come in as a walk-in. I come here and it’s packed. I’m not happy with that at all so don’t listen to Nick and make an appointment because it is packed here. Very very up set!

I wanted my tires rotated and balanced and maybe an alignment if needed but the guy up front said my tires had cracks and wasn’t safe to do ( I know he was fishing for me to buy new tires) I took it somewhere else the guy said the cracking was superficial the tires had good tread also the cracking was on top edge and not on side of the tire . Even the guy there who aired up my tires seen nothing wrong with them .

I got new tires for my 4Runner installed here today, Sean billed me, Nick took care of me and Alex got my vehicle for me. All amazing costumer service. Was in and out within 1&1/2 hours went there at 130PM on a Friday and it wasn’t too packed, definitely started picking up costumers when I left at 3PM. Thank you guys for the awesome service, this is my new store until I move!

As a service business owner, I can say it takes one to know one, meaning, you can tell when a service business is built for success. While my experience may not be the same as everyone else I can tell you that the customer service team here today for me was done professionally. Customer service begins with the customer looking for a service provider. I found discount tire quickly as it was conveniently located near my location. Their ratings were very good so I decided to go get my needed tire sensors looked at and replaced. When I arrived met my a service advisor by the name of joel. I explained that I needed two of the sensors in my wheels replaced. He met me at my vehicle and tested them. After the testing determined that three of these sensors were bad he recommended all four to be replaced. In addition, he noted that my rear wiper was also in disrepair and should be replaced and he measured the trailer of my tire, so he could let me know what condition they were in and when they may need to be replaced. ( A good service company will always tell you what you need, not necessarily what you want. The best service companies will also educate you on the why. ) in line with a better company, Joel took a moment to explain the condition of my tires and when I should consider getting them replaced. I know about the windshield wiper and asked him to add it into the service. As for the sensors I agreed with him that they should all be replaced at the same time and gave him the go-ahead to get started. At the beginning of the job they take down your information including your phone number and you receive a text immediately, with a link letting you know, when they start work on your vehicle. The text also has a link for you to check in to see what's the status is on your vehicle. You will also receive a message when it's complete and ready to go. While I was waiting I had one of the service Team come out and let me know that my vehicle was done and it would be pulled up to the front where I could retrieve it. These are the things that make up a good company. I was impressed with their work and will certainly go back and I recommend them to anyone who may be looking for tire service or any of the other services they offer.

Got there 25 minutes ahead of opening and was second in line for walk-ins. But the time the store opened there were 10 people waiting. Once they opened flat tire repair service was fast and efficient. No charge for nail removal either.

First time buying tires myself, always had someone else to help me out. So I'm trying not to get taken advantage of when I go in. My family has always used Discount Tire but I have a Costco membership now so thought that may make sense. It seems like maybe Costco has better deals on premium brands while Discount Tire is cheaper overall. I am a loyal Discount Tire customer. I thought I needed new tires on my car. When they went out to take a look, the guy said, "Your tires are perfectly fine. You won't need new tires for a while." He also was very thorough about my tires and pressure. He checked everything and sent me on my way. And for that, they got a loyal customer (and they have always been really nice and professional in all my dealings with them since). There is a lot of employee turnover in this business, and I can't say they are necessarily better from year to year. When shopping around for a new set of tires, they understand that it can be a little overwhelming to try and sort through a large inventory. If you’re considering a new set of tires but just aren’t sure what to expect, they got the solution for you. There’s no better way to find out how tires actually perform than to hear from people who have already driven on them! Wonder how a tire is going to handle the cold? Or maybe you want to know how long a tire will actually last. No matter what you drive or where you drive it, their goal is to provide you with everything you need to get the right tires for your ride. Still need help finding the tires or wheels you’re looking for? They can find and special order just about anything for you. I totally recommend Discount Tire.

This Discount Tire location gets pretty busy. Definitely make your appointments online ahead of time if you can. They do the best they can to get you in and out as efficiently as possible. Great service. Great music playlist here!

I did a walk in and Christian helped me pick the new set tires. He offered me a “trade in” discount for one tire I bought recently. His customer service was excellent and got me out of there in about an hour, new tires + alignment. I was happy

Had two BFG K03s installed but I guess Quality Control did not inspect the work because one of the center cap bolts was not installed and missing and I was not notified of it not there when they started work. When I was watching them install I had noticed an odd bolt on the ground, thinking it was a valve stem, maybe that was it? Since I live 1.5miles away, I came back the next morning to Discount tire if they had a box of stray bolts they collect. Details matter therefore 2 out of 5 Stars.

If you’re a woman don’t come here. They fully will try and take advantage of you. They completely DENIED me a usually free tire repair (a nail was stuck in the tread) and told me I needed completely new tires. I went across the street to Costco and they had it repaired and ready for me in less than an hour for 10.00$. 😐 Way to try and take advantage of a young girl in a difficult situation. They saw me pull up in a spare tire too and still decided to waste my time and try and make me feel dumb. 0/10 Customer Service.

Excellent service. Purchased tires from their online website and then scheduled an appointment. On the day of the appointment, they had a parking spot reserved for me but another car was in the spot. Fortunately, there was an open spot nearby in an otherwise full parking lot. Had to wait about 10 min before I was assisted. But once I was helped, it took only 1.5 hours to change all four tires, conduct an alignment and scan my TPMS sensors to correct a faulty one. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend Discount Tire to my friends and family.

Stopped in to have a leaking tire repaired. Was told that it would be about 4 hours. I dropped the car off. I was notified that it was ready in 3 hours and that there would be no charge. I did not even buy the tires at Discount tire as the car still had the original tires installed. Great service!!!

I was helped by Josh, I told him about the issue I had due to a recent service at a different location. While explaining the issue he asked to take a look at it together. Upon examination he noticed a gap between the rim and the wheel hub. He offered to get a jack to remove it on the spot. Not only did he find two bolts that were not installed properly (torqued) but also found the problem which was an extra spacer between the wheel & hub that was causing the rattling sound while driving I really appreciated him taking initiative to check out the problem, fixing it right away and probably saving me repair costs due to the negligence of another shop Mind you Josh fixed the issue outside in the rain!

Edited to respond to Chandler D with customer care: The link you posted does not work, it brings me to a login portal for Discount Tire owners. Original review: I really wanted to like our tire purchasing experience here, since this place seems to have raving reviews. We came in for a repair due to having a nail in one of the tires. We were first greeted by Carlos. He stated that the repair would be free but our tire tread was getting low, so we decided to just replace the two rear tires. He estimated that it would be done by 1:30pm. So we decided to shop elsewhere while waiting. At 1:30 I came to the shop to pick up my car, another person helped me and stated that the car wasn't finished, in fact it wasn't even in the bay yet. He said it would be done in 30 minutes. At 2:20pm we decided to check on the car since we haven't received a text yet, and our car was just barely getting pulled into the bay. Carlos and other employees kept walking by, but couldn't look me in the eyes. Not a single apology for the delay. I get an estimated time of completion is an estimate, but being off by 1 hour? Even a "hey man, we seem to be a little more busy than I thought" would have sufficed. Finally at around 2:45pm the car came out and the guy handed me the keys, still no apology. We were on vacation luckily so we didn't need to drive the car until today, my wife complained about the tire pressure sensor coming on and blinking while driving to and from work today. I was expecting a tire to maybe be a little flat, but what I saw was absurd. I checked the tire pressure for each tire some seemed to be a 3 to 5 PSI above the recommendation listed in the door frame. But the back passenger tire, one that was replaced by discount tire was filled to 70 PSI! More than DOUBLE the PSI recommendation. That is absolutely insane, why would they not double check the PSI before leaving the bay? That makes me worry if they even installed the tire correctly. After adjusting the PSI myself and having the car at home and driving for a while, the low tire pressure alert was stuck on even though the tires were at correct psi. I assumed it was a broken TPMS sensor due to the flat tire. I took the car to another shop and they said that the car's computer was not calibrated for correct tire position, they fixed it at the cost of diagnosis, which is something discount tire should have done with the changing of tires... Needless to say I will not be coming back here. I was hoping to like discount tire, but unfortunately that was not the case. I'm sure it doesn't matter to them whether or not I am a returning customer, but I'd like to warn others about my experience.
