On the drive from New Mexico to Maryland I got a flat 70 miles west of Amarillo. Long story but sat for 8 hours at a station. Didn't have the wheel lock for some reason. Got towed Sat evening to Discount Tire. Got the hotel next door for 2 nights until they opened Monday morning. They couldn't remove the tire. I Ubered to Toyota dealer there and bought a wheel lock. Had them replace all the tires. They said they were done. I resumed my trip and later that day they said they forgot to put the wheel lock in my car. I asked them to send it to my sister's house in MD. That was almost 2 weeks ago. They said they sent it but my sister never got it. They also said they don't have the tracking number. It's been almost 3 weeks now and still isn't at my sisters' house. Bought one locally at the dealer in MD.

I’ve been going to discount tire for over 15/20 years. I prefer Ross on I 40 to any of the stores in Amarillo but they all have great employees but I prefer Ross is at a personal level very professional but yet very caring.

Amazing and friendly service. We were headed across country and had a valve stem issue on our trailer. Not only did they get us in and out in less than 10 minutes, but they didn't even charge me. Nikki was super helpful and dropped what he was doing to help get us back on our way. Highly recommend!

Please be aware if you have aftermarket wheels!!! I took my CRV to get a tire patch due to a nail puncture and was returned with improper tire mount (tech mounted tire reversed with white lettering facing outside) and wheel paint damage down to the metal surface. Wheels and tires barely have 200 miles on them. I don’t understand why the techs mounted the wheel weight on the outside lip of the wheel. I kindly asked to remove it and mount it inside of the barrel. There needs to be better attention to details with quality control! Customers come in paying for a service.

This is the best store in Amarillo in my opinion. The whole crew here is great! Service was fast and good. I was getting my truck tires balanced and rotated again, preparing for a long road trip. I had been meaning to get a new spare tire, but totally forgot about it. The tech had inspected it at this time and told me it was 10 years old. They gave me a price and I had them install it....I'm so glad they did, because again, I had forgotten about it. Very pleased with the service at this store....I've been to others, but this is my Go-To store! Thanks again...I'll be back.

I paid $40 and they didn't solve the problem. They lied and told me there's nothing wrong with it. I'm deaf, and I can feel the vibration going on. All they did was look at it and tell me nothing wrong with it. Also why is everyone is on their personal phone? I know they have that work device, but I know what a regular cell phones looks like.

Amazing customer service. Had a tire replaced on my truck and got race car treatment with 6 guys working on the truck while the manager shook my hand. Pulled in with my dually with 4000 lbs camper in the bed and towing a 20’ cargo trailer. They mounted the new tire, replaced the spare tire under the bed and checked the other 9 tires for pressure.

Came in for a tire rotation and I made sure to mark each tire with a sharpie to verify they had been rotated the way I wanted. I asked them to take the front 2 straight back and cross the back to the front. When they were "done" I checked the markings and they only rotated the driver side front to back, back to front. They did not even touch the passenger side tires. Now I got another hour wait for them to do the job right..great. Make sure you mark your tires, it's hard to find good help that does work right nowadays.

This is my second trip to this location. First was for a balance and rotation on my old Dodge. This second visit was for a re-balance of one tire I kinda messed up upon install. We blew a tire on the way to Colorado out of Dallas. We were about 2 hours from Amarillo and nobody had the tire we needed let 4. Called to ask if they would stay open an extra 20 or 30 minutes which they did and were done in 15 minutes. They mounted balanced and out the door before we knew it. Dustin and his crew saved our butts.
