Never wrote a review for a business before but after the phone call I just had, it was unbelievable. I just wanted to call and check the prices for a set of 2 235/40R19 wheels and was given a full advertisement over the phone for a price I couldn’t afford which was $300+. I asked if they had anything more economical and affordable and I was rudely asked, “Have you been calling around little miss lady? Have you found any better prices?”. I answered “Yes, I was offered $210 at another tire location”. He asked for the location name which was weird so I refused to state it and just said it was in Clovis. He then responded with “Nah” and then hung up on me. He sounded super lazy as if he was on something and disrespectful just because I was a female. Couldn’t believe a business, which looked so nice btw, had such a bad front desk employee. I decided to take my business to the previous location I visited. I recommend going to Fast Tire Service by Fowler and Princeton Ave. They’re super straight forward. Offers a variety of prices based on supplies available and what you can afford. They gave me the prices of $210-$280 for a set of 2 tires based on brand and quality. I originally was going to get a set of 2 for $210, but then I decided to get all 4 tires changed with the best tires they had and didn’t care about the price of $210 anymore. Even if we were on a budget, I decided to buy the best quality they offered simply because they had respectful and helpful employees. Total was only $520 due to the sale price of 4 wheels. Service was also done by the time I finished this review. Sometimes it takes a good-looking business with bad service to make you appreciate the small ones who aren’t really so bad.

I called this morning to make an appointment and the worker was extremely rude. Like major attitude. He acted like I was a burden when asking questions and telling him my tire size (I got it right the first time). My appointment was at noon. Got there at 11:45. Soon enough, 2 o’clock crept up. My car still hadn’t been touched. I asked “Hey, when is my car gonna get worked on? You said about an hour and a half ago that it’d be done in a hour and a half and it’s still sitting out there. I had to call out of work and I have school, and I’m the only one sitting in here.” Both workers looked at each other, then completely ignored me. Didn’t even answer. They knew I was talking to them because they were looking at me in the eyes as I was talking. Literally worst service ever, the lady at the front was nice but this place has seriously got to do some growing.

I hit a pothole out in Mendota and blew out my front driver’s side tire. I’ve been a customer of the Discount Tire on Railroad Avenue in Clovis for many years, so I immediately called and spoke with JOHN, the manager, to let him know I’d be having my car towed to the shop. AAA took a while to arrive, and I knew it would probably get there after hours, but John was incredibly helpful and reassuring. He told me not to worry and that they would take care of everything once the vehicle arrived the next morning. The next day, the team had my car ready quickly, communicated clearly, and provided the same great service I’ve always received from this location. I really appreciate the professionalism, honesty, and customer care at this shop. This is why I keep coming back—John and his team always go above and beyond! 5 star Service EVERY TIME!! Marcie M
