Paid $800 for a service that they claimed to have performed. Kept my vehicle for 3 months. Took it to another mechanic whom did exactly what they claimed to have done! Scammers and I will be taking them to small claims court!

Little issues that should have been checked were not...also my total was $1367.99 I have him $1368.00 and the guy was like you still owe me $1.00 since then I've only dealt with the older gentleman. ****update the guy Ezekiel tried to jip me out of 2700 for an engine(and labor that wasn't needed) told me my engine was locked and needed a new one among other things... took it to philpott where roland told me my engine wasn't at all locked!!!!!

My brother had a clutch installed in 97 f-250 heavy duty. It is a big transmission. We'd bought clutch kit that didn't include throttle bearing. They advised putting new throttle bearing and having the flywheel turned. just in case it was out of balance. total cost was 450 dollars . DOS Amigos bought the throttle bearing and paid for having the flywheel turned. The original the quote was 300 dollars. My bother is satisfied with the work on truck .He just pulled a trailer from Beaumont to the Valley

My boyfriend's dad recommended this place to me bc he knows the owner. However, I went to get a refurbished alternator, they ended up replacing my battery instead and my car was dead within days after leaving the shop. I would not choose Dos Amigos when YOU are not sure what is wrong with your car, bc they most likely will not fix the actual issue and you will end up going back.

Came here after Baker took 3 hours and charged me almost $100 to tell me what I already knew (they were also going to charge $1000 to replace an alternator and it would have had to stay over night, Baker is trash). This father/duo had me taken care of in just an hour and half and I was on my way home to Dallas in no time. They also gave a great sense of humor.

I've gotten a few things fixed here that's lasted. Recently paid for something to be fixed and that same part has to be replaced again. The part is under warranty but since it's been three months since they "fixed" it i have to pay for labor. Not fair when they didn't fix it correctly the first time. The extra stars are for other times they've done good. It's a hit and run here like most shops, their prices just may be a bit better.

They have very bad behaviour towards the customer, I'll never recommend this place.just for letting me know what we already know they charge me, 45$. Waste of time and money. They even steal your parts that you don't notice early, if you leave your car to them. Very cunning scammers. "THUMBS DOWN ".

The place don't look like much, but the Two Amigos do great work on old and used cars. Great place to go if you just have simple things to take care of on your car or you don't have no warranty and you just need to get your car repaired. Prices are very reasonable and usually they'll get your car to you within a day or two depending on what has to be done or sooner. I would have given them five stars, but it's really hard to get ahold of them unless you go there or get lucky and catch them in the office later in the day. Other than that, I recommend them if you need to get something fixed on your car.

This company is horrible and I wouldn’t recommend to my dog. My car was towed by TNT wrecker April 6, 2022 and I am just getting my vehicle back May 16, 2022. I called a numerous amount of times trying to get an update and receiving nothing but attitude from the receptionist which is the owners daughter. They didn’t seem to understand that communication is key and communication is everything when you have a customers belonging and you cannot communicate with them what’s going on. I explain to them on several different occasions that I have rented several different vehicles and was putting more money than I wanted to while because they couldn’t seem to get my car fixed . I asked them to communicate with me along the way that way I know on my end what I would have to do to make sure that I was able to get back and forth to work until they found out what was wrong with my vehicle and until they fix my vehicle. They agreed that they will communicate better and of course they did not. They claimed that they ordered and received the wrong part. And I’m order for them to get the correct part I would have to bring in $980 for them to order the part again. Which I did and they still didn’t communicate and let me know that the part did not come in on time and they were still awaiting the it. So again here it is almost a month and a half and I am just now getting my car back. I go to pick it up their attitude is horrible and they literally park my car across the street from their company and I had to walk and get my vehicle. and now the air is now not cooling. Again, I would not recommend this company to a dead dog they are horrible and their customer service is horrible, their business practices is horrible . Do not, and I mean do not trust them with your vehicle and trust that they’ll put the time needed into it or that they’ll communicate with you because they will not. I will never return to this place no matter the issue with my vehicle.

I brought my car in for a/c repair. For some reason a bracket that never seen the light of day was broke. Then my car needed all kinds of parts and it keeps going on and on for over a week. Had to get the car towed to a real mechanic. 850 dollars waisted. Father and son is big time SCAMMERS..I will never return and don't recommend this business at all...

It is such a crying shame that all of the negative reviews are from African Americans, I myself believe that that alone speaks volumes. Wr had my daughters car towed to this establishment in the middle if February. Last week the same belt that we spent 290.00 having it replaced came completely off of her vehicle. I mean the whole entire belt. Each time that we came in contact with the older gentleman ,who is the owner, was never pleasant. When we would call to check on the status of her vehicle he would hang up in whomever face that made the call. It took them a week to put the same belt back on that they put on in the 1st place. The older gentleman had been giving my daughter a hard time all week long so my husband called to speak with the owner checking the status and asking when can we pick up her car. The owner said that we eould have to pay again for the same service that we paid for less than 3 months ago. That was puzzling to me because they are the ones who put this same belt on 3 months ago. The gentleman became belligerent and hmtold my husband ro come get the car when my husband told him that we were not paying for the same repair twice, that the belt could not have been secure or else it would not have come off. He said had it had snapped that would be different. The gentleman hung up in my husband face. So we went to pick the up the car and the older gentleman comes in behind us. As I turned around he was dangling the belt that we paid 290.00 for in my face saying he replaces it and we couldn't get the keys until we paid again. The belt that we purchased bmin February was still a whole belt. So we are going back and forth about the payment the older gentleman because yelling and stepped in my husbands face. I pulled him back away from the gentleman. The older gentleman told us ro show him a receipt because he did not put the last belt on. Well of course we didn't have the receipt because we were just picking up. My daughter had it in her possession. So I paid to get her car and let them know that we would never use their services again and that I would never refer anyone else to them . They are rude, unprofessional al and the are thieves. My daughter has her receipt that shows that we paid for a belt back in February, it states it on the receipt. We also have proof from the bank of the payment . They are Prejudice to anyone who has tan skin or darker. I would not recommend them to a dog on the street. So , we will see you guys again..... In court.👋🏽
