They do what it takes to get your vehicle fixed. They replaced my starter redid some wiring that was burnt out changed the transmission out and axle. Also replaced 2 relay switches and ran test after test until it was finally started and running.

Doug tried numerous times to keep my car by compounding charges and inventing new problems with my car. I had to get the City of Lakeland involved and LPD to get my car back, and it still wasn't fixed correctly.

Doug the owner is a joke....he was yelling and screaming at me on the phone then hung up on me. I paid 450$ for a thermostat and housing and he had my vehicle for 4 days when he said it would be done in 2 days. I will never go to him again.nor will i ever refer someone there.

Any issues with your ride get it to Doug. Like asap. He is affordable and any other problem he se he will give you a call and ask you do you want that fixed. This man know what he is doing. As long as he live I will not let another mechanic touch my cars but his shop. I will say if you got a special mechanic type car send it to Doug.

Awesome service ! We use this place for a fleet of work trucks as well as our personal vehicles and always appreciate how quickly our vehicles are diagnosed and repaired. Also, have to mention Patty, the office manager, she always e-mails copies of our invoices in a timely manner (since our guys tend to lose them). We had to pull into Doug's Automotive due to Florida construction damaging my skidguard under my Honda Civic. Sean was great and very helpful. My family and I were traveling from out of state. The situation was hyper stressful. Sean pulled my car into the bay. He was able to find the materials and get our car back on the road within 30 minutes. In a pinch Sean had amazing customer service and he was inexpensive. I'm grateful for his help. Thank you Sean!

Doug's Automotive, which is now owned by Sean was an absolute god send to our family. My wife and child were travelling in Florida and the clutch failed on our Jeep Wrangler. I was in Louisiana at our home and had to manage finding a shop that could first take the car to and then to fully diagnose the issue. After some research, I called up Sean and he said he could fit our Jeep in his schedule...fully understanding our predicament. Sean quickly confirmed that it was indeed our clutch and we then both went on the search for required replacement parts. As one would expect, finding all of the parts required in today's environment was a challenge. Through persistence and drive, Sean went above and beyond to find our parts and get them in his shop. He even personally drove 3 hours round trip to pick up the last missing part needed. Within a week, Sean got our Jeep back up and running better than before with a new clutch. To say that I am pleased with Sean and his shops customer service and quality of work would be an understatement. Thank you Sean for all that you did for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Sean (Doug's Automotive) for all your car repair needs. Looking forward to when it's called "Sean's Automotive"!
