Took a 2009 Hyundai in to have the belts replaced. They got it done within 24 hours. They also told me about another potential problem but did not pressure me to have it fixed at that time...which I didn't. No hard sale on have additional work done. I'll give them five stars for being quick, not overselling, and it appears they did a good job with the belt replacement. I would definitely go back for more service in the future.

We took a Kia in for diagnostics and they told us they couldn't find the issue. A few visits later they told us it was the tires, maybe, and rotated them at an additional charge over the diagnostic. Over 200 dollars later they gave us zero answers and sent us on our way. Just got home from another shop, guy had it in the air for 10 mins and told us exactly what it was. The guys were super nice and respectful, just lazy. They were also cryptic and vague about pricing until it came time for us to pay.

I had an engine replaced at E&R Automotive with what Erby advertised as a “new crate” engine, which was supposed to come with a 1-year, 100,000-mile warranty. However, I later discovered that the engine was actually remanufactured, not new. Since installation, the engine had been misfiring, and despite multiple visits to Erby for repairs, the issue was never properly diagnosed or resolved. Instead, I was charged for unnecessary parts and labor. E&R also misdiagnosed the problem, attributing it to the transmission, which I had replaced at their suggestion, only to find the issue remained. After several unsuccessful attempts to fix the truck, Erby himself even told me, “I don’t want to see this truck ever again.” Ultimately, I had to take the vehicle to Carrillo’s Automotive, where they were able to properly diagnose and fix the problem. Due to Erby’s (E&R Automotive) negligence and poor service, I’ve incurred significant additional costs. Im also in the process of pursuing legal action to address the situation. I would strongly advise against using Erby (E&R Automotive) for any automotive services. Their lack of expertise and poor customer service will likely cause you more time, money, and frustration

I needed to replace the Timing Chain Tensioning System and Oil Pump (runs from Timing Chain), on a 2007 Ford F-150 Crew Cab, with 242,000 miles. After talking with Erby, it became obvious that replacing the Timing Tensioner & Oil Pump is expensive and would not address the likelihood that such mileage would result in another mechanical issue in the future. A Re-Built 5.4 Triton Engine Long Block was the best overall option, but upon further discussions, I decided to replace substantially more to have the equivalent of a new engine, with a 3yr 100,000 mi Warranty. Erby was extremely professional & incredibly knowledgeable, given 40 yrs experience, and I would 💯% recommend E&R Automotive
