There are no words to describe the incredible experience that I had with East End. I was traveling through Louisville when my car started sounding terrible and barely accelerating. At 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon, I called and asked if they would look at it for me. They did not hesitate even though it was so late in the day on a weekend and I was still 30 miles out. The issue couldn’t be immediately diagnosed or fixed, so they helped me find a nearby hotel and even gave me a ride to it. Monday morning, they had to deliver the news that the repair would be very expensive, and talked me through my options, helping me to make an informed decision. I decided not to fix the car but did not know how to go about junking it. They helped with that, too, advising me to call local salvage yards, etc. Ultimately, they chose to buy the car from me, which made the process even easier. They referred me to a rental car company that was nearby, came back to the hotel to pick me up and take me to get the rental. When I got back to the shop to clean out my car, I could not have felt more welcomed and it was obvious that they cared. They helped me empty out the car and even did a second sweep for me to make sure I didn’t miss anything. When I left, I felt like I was saying goodbye to family. I tend to shy away from car repair shops, because it is one of the few times that I feel I’m seen as a woman who can be taken advantage of. I never felt that way at East End, from the first phone call to the moment that I drove away and beyond as we sorted out signing the title over and getting it to them. It was clear that they were being open, honest and trustworthy and never once saw me as a victim who could be swindled. They treated me with respect and it is clear that they truly value their customers and take pride in their business. I wish they weren’t so far away, because I want to take my new car to them for all of its maintenance and repair needs. Thank you Idean, “Dad” and everyone at East End (I feel terrible that I don’t know anyone else’s name) for everything that you did and for being so kind and compassionate. I am eternally grateful.

I've taken my car to this place for over ten years. They've done everything from brake work to fixing my exhaust system to replacing the linkage on a Mazda 626 I used to own. Not only are they reasonably quick with repairs, they are honest. They will diagnose a problem and give you an honest answer with solutions at a fair market price. I don't know what I'd do without them. Take your car there.

The owner & son seem great. I’ve taken my car there before and they were informative & polite. I was going to take my car there again & one of their employees answered the phone. I talked to him once last night & again this morning. Whoever he was, he was pretty rude & short with me & literally laughed out loud at me when I didn’t know an answer to his question. Bad vibes from him so obviously taking my car elsewhere this time:/ 👎

They replaced the alternator in my car remarkably quickly, compared to my now previous mechanic, who wanted to charge $375 more, for the same work and wouldn’t have gotten to my car for three days. I’m glad I stumbled upon them.They are nice, genuine and reasonable. My new mechanic of choice.

Car started shaking when accelerating and at idle. Took it here. The job was done quick, the same day I had it dropped off. I asked for them to test drive it and do a diagnostic and was told they already did, car was good to go. Ater work I picked it up. Within 15 mins of driving the check engine light was back on and the car was shaking again. So did they really test drive it or did they just let it idle in their parking lot and tell me it was all good? They did not reattach my air filter correctly. And I had a subwoofer power wire that I had neatly tucked away in the battery compartment. When I opened the hood to check out the shaking I saw my power wire just dangling down into the engine bay. Obviously they don't care about their customers, we're just paychecks to them. Hurry up and get done with this car so they can move on to the next car, even if this car isn't fixed.

Today I had a nail in my tire and no other repair shops near me were open. I called them and they got me in right away. It turned out that the nail was short and hadn't punctured my tire, but they took the time to check my air pressure in each tire. Everyone at the shop was very kind and they didn't charge me for looking at the tire. This was my first experience here and I will certainly be taking my car back there in the future. I highly recommend them.

East End Import Services takes care of your car! I’d seen oil deposits left by my car and taken it to two repair shops, one from a dealership out of state where I often go and another in town - both honest and both had done good.work before. Each called it a leak in the main seal and estimated the repairs to $800 to $1200. A neighbor passed on a recommendation to East End from one of his University students. There, Mike took more time and made a simpler diagnosis - an oil filter, from the dealership, had been improperly installed and the motion of the car pushed the oil back to the mail seal area, where it had dropped to the drive. Cost of the repair, time and filter - $70. Bottom line: they were just more careful. East End also quickly diagnosed an engine problem in a quick drive around the block - good work, of course, at a fair price. I’d trust Brian, Dave, and Mike with my car any day, and Idean spent time in finding a very good replacement part for the interior. I know I can take my car there with total confidence - drop it off, leave it, and forget it. It’s in good hands.

My car broke down on a family trip from Ohio to Florida on a Friday afternoon at 5 pm. How lucky was I to get the car to East End Auto Service. They stayed open past closing time and found the problem. It could not be fixed to continue on. They went out of their way and called a car rental place for me. They gave me a fair price to fix the car. Being from out of state, and knowing I would not be a returning customer, A less honest shop could have really screwed me over. These guys were the best. Skilled, honest, helpful. Go there if you live anywhere near. Thanks men for all your help!!

My car broke down a little ways back and I typed in the closest auto shop. This place came up so I slowly made it there. The owner took a look at my car, put oil in it, checked it, drove it around and helped me figure out what could be wrong with it. I was overwhelmed and crying and had to get it towed home. He didn’t charge me a dime. Highly recommend this place. Everyone is super professional and he made my bad day a little better.
