Always fair prices and honest service. They are always busy and this tells you right there that many people trust them with their vehicles. It's worth the wait versus going somewhere else. I can guarantee this!

I am new to town, and my car sputtered out on a Saturday and I had to have it towed somewhere, so I did a quick search and came up with this place. There were some other positive reviews, and being desperate, I rolled in at 5:30pm on Saturday. Turns out I'm an idiot by assuming all car repair places are open on Saturday night. Wrong. However, they happened to be busy working on cars so I asked if I could drop my car off. I half expected some cranky worker to give me the stink eye for showing up when they were closed, but instead I was greeted by a nice guy, named Jose who offered to take a quick look at my car. He diagnosed the problem in about 5 minutes as a bad coil and he loaned me a spare one they had lying around, and said he'd order me a new one on Monday. No Charge for getting me back on the road. This kind of honesty and helpfulness is hard to find in an auto repair shop and because of that I plan to take my car there for all future repairs. As a side note, the hourly rate I observed is quite a bit less than most dealers, and if the job is done right and it's an honest place, who cares.

This shop is fantastic and I’ll be bringing my car back any time I need serious repair. José is an excellent and honest mechanic with an eye for details. I brought my car in for a timing issue and he sorted everything out and got it back up and running.

I left my VW Golf with them in the morning for an oil change and it was ready by lunch. They are a little unorganized so the processing took a while. There is a small waiting area with magazines. They did everything that was needed and went over some observations they noticed which is a plus in my book because the dealership wouldn't have let me know of these issues. A little pricier than going to the dealership but I appreciate their honesty.

Great service. Yolanda and Jose was great to work with, very helpful and transparent. After reading the reviews, decided to bring my MK6 GTI here after VW dealer failed to address the overheating issues. Jose quickly diagnosed the thermostat and water pump as the problem and got it fixed in a day! Definitely coming back here for future maintenance/repairs.

Exceptional Audi Service at Unbeatable Prices in the Bay Area! "I'm genuinely thrilled to have discovered such a top-tier German auto mechanic right here in the Bay Area. If you're an Audi owner, Jose and his team are the professionals you need! I took my Audi Q5 to them with a damaged front CV boot. Not only did Jose personally take the time to guide me through my options, but he also provided a clear cost comparison of OEM vs. aftermarket parts. It's not often that you find a mechanic who values transparency and genuinely cares about your safety and budget. To top it off, the total repair bill was 40% less than a quote I got from a certified Audi Repair Facility. Trust me, the trip down the peninsula is more than worth it for the impeccable service and substantial savings. Highly recommend!

I swear by Eddie's German Auto Repair. I took our high mileage 2014 Mercedes GLK 350 in and told them I knew I needed some routine maintenance done but wanted to know if there was anything else that needed to be fixed and what else was worth doing since the car is near end of life. Jose was honest about the car's remaining lifetime and said it wasn't worth it to do any high-level repairs to it and to just do routine maintenance till something big fails and then move on to another car. I don't know much about cars but I know a lot about not getting scammed. I will go back there with any car I have in the future simply because they didn't decide to upsell me on doing a bunch of repairs that wouldn't extend the life of the car. Saved me at least 5k compared to the Mercedes dealership. Truly genuinely cannot recommend this place enough. There are good honest mechanics in the Bay and Eddie's has them in spades. And lest I forget, Yolanda and Andrew were both stellar as well.

Yesterday around 3 PM, I brought my 2016 Audi in and explained that the steering wheel was deactivated. I spoke with the same person throughout the entire process. I was told they were busy that day and could not look at it, but that I should bring the car back tomorrow and leave it for 1–2 hours so they could figure out what was going on and decide how to proceed. Today, I returned at 2:20 PM and spoke with the same person again. He said he remembered me but asked me to “refresh my brain.” I explained that I had come in yesterday with the same issue. He then said I needed to leave the car for 1–2 hours, and I replied, “No problem, I will walk around.” I was then told that by around 5 PM they would know what the issue was and go from there. I left the car and walked around nearby. When I came back around 4:50 PM, the car was still exactly where I had left it and had not been moved. I sat in the office while the same person checked out several other customers until around 5:30 PM. Around 5:35 PM I stepped outside for some air, and I assume the car was finally pulled inside around that time. Just before 6 PM, I was told that they didn’t know what was going on and needed more time. I just smiled and didn’t say anything. When he repeated the same thing again, saying they needed more time, I reminded him that I had dropped the car off at 2:20 PM. Only after that was I told that I needed to make an appointment. When I questioned this, I was told “time is money.” I responded that I also have a business, said “good night,” and left. This description reflects my experience exactly. Based on this experience, my questions are as follows: If an appointment was required, why was I told on the first day to come back tomorrow and leave the car for 1–2 hours? From my understanding, being told “come tomorrow and leave the car for a couple of hours” already constitutes an appointment. If there was no time to look at the car that day, why was I asked to drop it off at 2:20 PM and wait? I followed the instructions exactly and ended up spending my entire afternoon waiting. When I was eventually told that I needed an appointment, it felt as if I had done something wrong, even though I had simply done what I was told. If there truly wasn’t enough time that day, a more appropriate response would have been something like, “We’re sorry, we couldn’t get to it today,” or “Let’s schedule you for the next available appointment.” That was never offered.
