I dropped my car off with almost zero notice, an hour before close on a Friday afternoon for an AC inspection with the intent of leaving it overnight. José not only went through the car, but had the AC fixed within the hour for only a hair more than what the diagnostics was going to cost. After being quoted $1,000 for a new compressor at one of the local chains, I’m stoked to have found a mechanic who I trust to not charge for unnecessary repairs. My car needs a number of things, so I’ll definitely be bringing it back to him.

My AC went out and I went to Jose for a freon charge. He quoted me a price and when it started taking longer than it should without the desire results, he told me that there were two options; 1) replace the suspension valve or 2) replace the whole system. I opted to try #1 and luckily it worked! He was upfront about all the work options and pricing and delivered on time. What a nice person, too! I would definitely go back to Jose for my car's mechanical needs!

I had a pesky car to say the least. My car broke down and had alternator, exploding oil, battery and computer issues. The owner was focused on customer service and leaving me feeling like I got something worth my time and money. He’s an honest likable guy. He was flexible and attentive. When a defunct part was placed in my vehicle he replaced it at his cost, which is something I’ve never experienced. 10/10 recommend. He’s definitely going to have my future business with any of my automotive needs. Lastly the part that felt human was my wife and I just moved to North Carolina and have a one year old child and had just bought a house. When I told him how essential it was to have this car back so we could both avoid missing time from our new jobs he found a way to get it back within 24 hours. I was shocked in the best possible way! I started going here a few months ago when the shop that I normally went shut down unexpectedly and let me tell you that I couldn't be more happy I did. They are such down to earth people who know how to take care of their customers and have very good prices on repairs. I had a problem with my radiator, and my car was overheating and come to find out it was just a few hoses that needed to be fixed, and I was on my way quickly. My car was making a weird noise right before a road trip. I brought it to Jose and he listened to the sound right away and fixed is (replaced the rotor and brakes) the same day, and also test drove it on the highway to ensure that it sounded good and to check the alignment. I stopped by Emmanuel Auto today (the day before Thanksgiving!) after having some issues with my starter motor which began while I was driving in from out of town. It was already on the way out and I had plans to replace it myself, but I couldn't remove the starter bolts holding it in given the access and that they were probably seized given it's a 20+ year old BMW. The guys at Emmanuel Auto saw me same day as a walk in, and I was able to pick up the car by late afternoon! The team was patient as I described the issue and assured me they would be able to tackle it. They gave me a reasonable estimate (particularly considering the same-day holiday turnaround) and I'm super happy with the results. The car is now starting and I highly recommend them to anyone needing a mechanic in the future!
