I think that EQT is the best tuner for the MQB platform based in the following reasons. Safe increased power Smooth driveability Amazing community Quick and responsive support So far I have the stage 2 91 tune in my s3 and I have been consistently handing out gaps to cars from digs to rolls. Can’t wait to upgrade to one of their turbos or to e30 I’m sure it will feel like a brand new car.

Turbo never shipped. I have emailed sales and they say it was picked up. FEDEX Label was created but Fedex investigation says it was never picked up ,and to reach out to the shipper. They seem to take a day on average to respond by email, so I called EQT and no one answered and I left a voice message. I spent $900 and almost two weeks later no indication from EQT if I will receive my parts. Order was placed on 3/28/25 its now 4/10/25. UPDATE: See pictures below. Sales told me three times it was shipped and the problem was FEDEX. Finally responded saying they printed the label and than realized they ran out and it would now ship from Canada. Took them 9 days to realize they sold me an item that was not in stock? Even though they assured me it was on the way. No apology. Spent 3 days back and forth with Fedex and EQT.

After years with a different company and seeing all over everyone talk about how great eqt was I finally made the jump. Turbo, hpfp, sensors and tune. Hit a few bumps and Ed, Cliff, Dave and Aaron were all super helpful with knowledge to get the car on the right track. I had a deadline for wanting to be done with everything and Ed made sure it happened. Drove the finished car this weekend and it's an absolute rocket now. Super super happy with the way its running. Faster, smoother, better. I'm so excited to revisit all the tracks from this year and set new pb times! When push came to shove these guys made it happen. I cannot recommend them enough.

Equilibrium Tuning has absolutely transformed my Audi S3 from a nice daily driver into an absolute riot to drive! I have purchased all my MQB parts possible through them, as well as two custom tunes which have really made my car a nice daily driver when you need it to be, but also a rocket when you get into boost! Customer service has been stellar as well. Ed is always answering questions, and Nick has been VERY patient with me on my tunes. I always recommend EQT to anyone, MQB or not since they tune various platforms!

EQT are THE PEOPLE for any MQB or VW cars. I’ve been stage 2 full E85 for over 40k miles with 0 issues so far! No where else can you get a tune that makes the car x2 what it should be with the everyday reliability that you get with a stock car.

Ordered an AMS Intercooler. After attempting to install, I noticed my factory hoses do not fit. Upon researching, I realized that the hoses and clamps were missing from my package. Customer service has yet to correct this issue. Communication is terrible. My vehicle has been down for 4 days. I use my vehicle for work. $100/day. The Intercooler cost me $1000.00 after tax & shipping. To say I’m upset would be an extreme understatement.

TUNED! ....Loving the stage 1 version --with the gurgling sounds, in Race mode -- of this EQT product. Installed ladt month on my 2019 manual VW Golf R......fingers crossed I'm keeping my stock clutch setup....no slipping at all so far! This is a very stable-feeling smooth tune, with a strong pull and quick response. (So glad I upgraded from the stage1 COBB tune I had for 3 years as EQT feels more powerful)

I’ve have many different cars and went through many different tuning companies. EQT is definitely the best company I have dealt with. I accidentally put it in the wrong serial number in for my tune on my s3. I messaged them and they fixed it with no questions within 20 minutes and sent me a new file. I went with the zero to hero kit recently and I have to say the smiles per gallon was worth it. Ed always keeps us informed and Matt is a straight badass on the custom tuning. Prior to this I ran their OTS stage 2 93 for a year and have been happy with it as well. Keep up the excellent work guys!

Product came broken, won’t warranty or fix the problem. Miscommunication through their support services. Update: The cord used to flash the car was a borrowed cord from another person not the one received. Also was told they were shipping one out and was giving an inaccurate sales order saying one was shipped Keep in mind it’s literally just a cord and they are telling me it’s the whole thing

I could write a small novel about how bad the experience with this company has been. I have no clue whatsoever how they have any repeat customers. The ONLY reason they are getting a 2 is because they remained cordial the entire time. Honestly, there is so much to unpack with this, but I don't have the mental capability to keep dwelling on this, so here's my VERY brief summary: I bought a Zero-to-Hero Vortex XL kit back in June 2025. I expected parts to arrive timely within a couple weeks; turns out, many parts were on backorder. I did not receive my final parts for nearly 2 months and had to chargeback part of it. Fundamentally, their tuning process is cancer; any email you send to get an update from the tuner puts you to the back of their response queue. It was December 2025 when I finally just gave up on getting what I paid for. My car is still not fully tuned, my turbo (that I spent a weekend installing) is likely defective (but they won't acknowledge this), and the E85 flex fuel rail that cost $1k+ is useless because of it. Only after I placed the order and started having issues did the internet come out bashing EQT. Maybe they used to be a good company, but they sure as hell aren't anymore. If you value your sanity and stress levels, DO NOT ORDER FROM EQT.
