My experience with both their Maxwell and Iowa locations was excellent: professional, courteous, and prompt. I'd gone to them for repair of a long scratch on my car and based on that, decided to get my tires from them. Their quote was very competitive with several of the other places I'd already checked, including WalMart. I've tried at least six other repair facilities in the last several years and Lefler's definitely comes out on top! Delighted to have found them.

I have had a really bad experience with this Shop. They repaired one of my vehicles and put the wrong engine size in the vehicle. My customer drove the vehicle with the incorrect engine size until she notices she still had problems. We took her vehicle to another shop who informed us that it was the incorrect engine size. We call EAR to discuss fixing the vehicle and they told us that we would have to wait until availability and when we call to check availability we were told something totally different then the previous conversation. This is very disappointing and I will no longer use this shop for business or personal use.

I'm new to the area and these guys have shown me nothing but kindness and great at fixing my vehicles in a very timely manner and super fair prices. They are always very curtious and have even picked my vehicles up and delivered them.. very very conveinent! Honestly haven't ever had such a awesome experience at an auto repair place! Wish I could give them 10 stars!

I called multiple shops around town to clear a simple air bag light that I caused and they gladly diagnosed my car and cleared the light for me. Most other shops were scheduled out into June. Dave at Evansville Auto Repair had me bring the car by and had the code cleared within 10 minutes. Didn’t charge me either!

Tackled a complex issue with my BMW engine that another shop wouldn't touch. Engine valve gasket was worn and bolts on cover were breaking in addition to other issues that needed addressed. Very professional and knowledgeable. Reset battery that prior owner and shop that sold it to me failed to do. Charged a reasonable price considering the complexity of working on German vehicles.

Terrible service stay away from here!!!Truck didn't start one morning, so had it towed there thinking from there reviews they do good service.... Tow truck guy was great did his job. I wanted them to see what was going on with it and check everything out on it to see what all needed work or to be done so I can know what's going on. Kind of like a breakdown of things. Dave was the guys name who talked to me about it all. Also my brake fluid has been losing fluid after a week and a half to two weeks. And I have a strut out on front left side as well. They charged me $170 dollars and said they couldn't find no issues truck started up and ran for them no leaks nothing. Well I paid upset but just paid to get out of there there were three people behind me at this point. When I get in my truck my glove compartment is all taken apart and all my stuff just laid out on the dash parked on the side of the street.. It did start tho so I was happy of that and went home. The next day ran just fine finished a painting job I was on and my customer mentioned it looked like he had a spot on his driveway, which happened to be brake fluid! But they inspected it, "as they say" and didn't find nothing.. Come on now. The following morning my truck won't start again...I'm in the same spot I started at today, out $170 dollars, and truck still ain't fixed... Nor did they do what I was asking. If you asked me stay far away go to Full Throttle off Weinbach that's where I'm going next heard nothing but good things from the owner there!

Lefler's has always taken great care of our vehicles. The additional service of picking up my vehicle and dropping it off when repairs and maintenance are complete is a bonus. They always take time to provide thorough explanations regarding any necessary repair. They handle each customer with honesty and integrity.

This place usually does good repair work, but sometimes they forget what the word warranty means. "A vehicle warranty is like an insurance plan: If something goes wrong, you take the vehicle to the mechanic’s shop for repair." They do not stand behind their work, so I can't recommend.

Worst experience in my life! I was nearby for softball nationals with my daughter. We were 6.5 hours from home. When my car started acting up, I brought it here. After they told me my engine was blown, I decided to ship it home. When I went to clean out my car, they had STOLEN EVERYTHING in it!! Car phone charger, sunglasses, cup full of change, Gatorade and tea... ridiculous things! I immediately brought it to the owners attention who assured me that they have multiple cameras on site and he would look into it. 10 days later and I still have not heard a word! Obviously he doesn't care and nothing will be done about it. Maybe we were treated this way because we're not local, but are you willing to take that chance??

I was having brake problems and I brought my Highlander here for service. They were able to get me in fairly quickly and we're very friendly! They thoroughly explained my issue and even showed me the problem. Reasonably priced. I will definitely bring my vehicle back here for future service and will be recommending their shop to everyone I know!

10/10 would recommend these guys. I needed my brake lines and cylinders replaced after I blew a line. They were able to get me in on a Friday morning and get my truck back to me on Monday morning. They were upfront about the cost and the work required as well as the timeline. Everyone was professional and knowledgeable.

Was in a year ago for alignment problems was charged $1300 alignment was never fixed they replaced brand new parts and said to send back under warranty. I suggested a part for replacement they replaced it but it wasn’t the issue, thought they would at least check it. ( I’m not a mechanic, I was just going off the sound i heard) I suggest going to a different shop they’ll take your money then wants you to come back to spend more.

An all around great experience, I came into the shop 20 minutes before close on a Monday and the lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. They let me know what the issue was on the following Wednesday and got my car back to me that same Wednesday. Overall a great experience with these folks and I will definitely be returning here for future work on my car.
