I had a 1930 John Deere brass carburetor that had some threads missing that made the carburetor unusable. The guys did some mill work to the bowl which let us get to some usable threads that allowed the carburetor to be reassembled as good as new.

Farmers has been around many years and helped the people in Evansville out a lot. Absolutely I will return just as my whole family has done over the decades. We head over to Farmers first because if they can't do it nobody else can either. You wont beat their service & unlike other machine shops, at Farmers it's first come first serve for a fair price and you just cant ask for better than that. You don't wait months for your machine work to get done during race season just because you rarely need their help. You are treated just as important as all their other customers or at least it always felt that way to me. Great business to deal with!!

These guys are horrible, don’t ever take anything to them. I was told they could supply the rotating assembly for a Sbc build for a agreed upon price so I took them the parts to build the rest of the engine last October. They said it would be 8 weeks I said no problem I just needed it by mid January. To make a long story short they stopped answering I went over 5 times and was told it would be done so family flew in to help install it. Come feb. it wasn’t even touched they hadn’t done anything. Finally I had to go get my parts which now I’m stuck with half a engine and if they would have just said no I would’ve bought a create motor but they lied along for 6 months. So never use this shop, truly bad people to do this to someone.

This is a delayed review. Maybe a year or so ago, I needed a Gen II LT1 small block bored. I had some bad luck with Farmers a while back, but I heard they were under new ownership and that things were different now, so I thought I would check it out. In fact, they were under new ownership, and pleasant fellows to speak to. Of course, my job was fairly "simple" but they had my block bored in 2 days for a reasonable price. Simply fantastic. I'd recommend giving them another shot!
