Was recommended this place. Dealt with Felix. He was very responsive in helping me. I needed a tune up, change of air filter, spark plugs and I needed new front lights. The process was seamless and everything was done very quickly and efficiently. I will get my repairs done here again when it’s time.

Was a good place but be sure they test drive your car before telling you it’s ready and also pull your abstract if they keep your car over night I received information in the mail of a parking tenant asked 3 times for my money to be returned provided confirmation and Uber ride proving I did not have my car nothing so they just lost a customer for being dishonest and telling me to provide proof and never sent back. I should of stuck with East orange location but now looking for a new mechanic

The price and service are excellent. But, they don't have full trust in their own employees as I had to wait 3 hours for 1 of the owners to take my credit card payment.

If you’re busy like most of us , time is money. With my hectic schedule , I can hardly find time to bring my car into the mechanic shop. Here at Felito and Brothers on Park ave in Newark, quality work is done in a timely manner ! Friendly staff and fair pricing! My go to mechanic shop !

Terrible customer service. Mechanic strung me along for weeks. Told me it was one issue then another and another. No certainty on how long my car was actually worked on. Even when I called and texted mechanic to get update on my car, I would get no response. I would have other people call on my behalf from other numbers and he would answer. Very unprofessional! Only when I got other car experts involved did he become pro active with fixing my car. Did not have invoices in order on what parts he actually got for my vehicle. I finally got my car after a span of 3 weeks. The following day took it to another shop and found there was a coolant leak. Stay far away from this auto shop!

I needed my vehicle repaired immediately, and they did a great job. Tune-up: replacement of 4 ignitions coils/4 spark plugs, and the labor and taxes were included. $700.00 out the door! Quality work and punctilious service!

Had my right rear window broken by someone. I called and Anthony was very nice. Told me he was going to pick up the glass and that the job was going yo be done in an hour. Highly recommend this place if you need any glass repair or any mechanical issues. They also do body work on cars.

ATTENTION TO PROSPECTIVE CUSTOMERS: Hack mechanic, if I could give 0 stars I would. This place was referred to my mom by the affiliated mechanic shop of a similar name (his brother's). So the story goes: The passenger sliding door for a minivan was not working. The owner of the shop goes "Yeah bring it over, I'll fix it for you". After looking at it, he claimed that the cable that sends signals to the car sliding door so that the motor for the sliding mechanism works needs to be replaced. The cable was bought and given to them to replace. Fast forward a couple of days later, and it's allegedly not the cable that's the issue, but instead the motor that controls the sliding mechanism. So what do they do? They remove the sliding door, and the middle seats "looking for the motor." Additionally, some lights on the dashboard were on so they recommended that a tune-up be done. My mom obliged and let them do it. When they did the tune-up, they ended up breaking the car motor cover and one of the employees said he'd replace it; he didn't. My mom was told to pick up the car and when she arrived it was not ready. After waiting for 3 hours for the car to be assembled it was STILL not ready because it wouldn't turn on. She took a cab to and from, which she was not reimbursed for, after their mess up. They had to get someone they knew NOT FROM THAT SHOP to see what was wrong with the car and to diagnose why it wasn't turning. The guy ends up fixing the issue of the car not turning on and it was operational again. They had the car ready to pick up the evening of the following day. To put the cherry on top, some clothing was stolen (new pack of men's underwear) from inside the car, nobody knew where it ended up. In the end, my mother ended up paying several hundreds dollars for them to "look" at the car without really fixing anything, while breaking and stealing things in the process. Money and time wasted. My mom then proceeded to take her minivan to a local shop, Regal Collision on Grove Street off of Bloomfield Ave., and to her surprise the motor was fine but the NEW cable which supposedly was not the issue was BROKEN. Felito's shop did not know what they were doing and like I said previously, were breaking things in the process. This shop correctly diagnosed the issue (the cable), another one was bought and the problem was fixed. Oh and by the way, the lights on the dashboard that were supposedly fixed by doing the "tune up" at Felito's shop came back on shortly after. Shocker. So to summarize, if you like: - your car's issues being misdiagnosed - paying labor for work that doesn't have to be done (in the hundreds of $s) - your car parts breaking while they rummage and GUESS what it is they should be doing - being told that your car is ready for pick-up while they are still working on it and wasting your time (and potentially more money) - having your personal belongings stolen from your car - getting excuses as to what the issues "could" be after they fail with the previous suggestion/fix .... then this is the place for you. To top it off, the owner hides so he isn't confronted and instead has one of his employees talk on his behalf from his own embarrassment. Very pathetic establishment until shown otherwise.

I must say this place is five star all the way the mechanics know exactly what they’re doing. The prices are very fair. The great news is they work on all types of vehicles, they are respectful to whom ever comes for service they are not your typical mechanic they are first class mechanics that know exactly what they are doing I definitely would recommend this place to anyone. Felix ,Anthony , and the entire team are great.

Very shady mechanic shop they definitely over charge you for service and parts better off getting your own parts and doesn’t give you a full descriptive receipt always a straight price it’s either $500, $700, $1,000 and feel like they don’t know too much they need to tighten up on there mechanics

I was referred to this shop, by Motorhead. I came in originally to get my Tein coilovers mounted, and Felix (the owner) and his team was able to point out what needed to be replace so that I could have it mounted. This guy does everything you name it, from regular mechanical work to body work. Felix is cool and chill ash, and makes you want to spend the money here. Not to mention, when everyone else was booked, Felix took me in and got me right. He got my business going forward.

I was very happy with the work they do at Felito & Brothers until they started sending us to Bloomfield Auto Wreckers for parts. I paid Felitos $1800 to have a used transmission installed in a 2017 Infiniti QX50. Felito & Brothers said they got the transmission from Bloomfield Auto Wreckers so I'm not sure how much of the $1800 was for labor and how much was for the transmission. Exactly 3 weeks after the 90 day warranty expired the transmission went bad. My problem with Felitos is they kept promising to call Bloomfield Auto Wreckers to see if they would give us anything back for the transmission. I'm not sure they ever called them because every day that we asked, they would say they were going to call tomorrow at 3pm. I finally gave up on it and the car is sitting in the driveway. I will take it to another car repair shop and have a brand new transmission put in it when I save up the money. Upon Felito's recommendation I purchased a $50 windshield washer fluid reservoir from Bloomfield Auto Wreckers for my daughter's car. They charged us $200 to install it. After several trips to Felito's because the fluid never came out of it, they sent us to take the receipt to Bloomfield Auto Wreckers. Of course by now with all the back and forth 30 days had passed and the very rude man working at Bloomfield Auto Wreckers said that Felito's never called him about it not working and that he talked to the owner every day. The mechanics do good work at Felitos but when you run into a problem they leave you hanging. I will never go there again and I won't recommend them to anyone.

They did my whole front end. No problems. He also test drive the car to see if everything worked good and it drives like new. I’m definitely going here for my car repair. Especially the prices were very reasonable. Bmw would have charged me an arm and a leg. I’m grateful for finding this shop. I drove all the way down south with no problems. He asked me if I wanted to do a review I told him I will just gotta see everything still good. Everything still works great

The mechanics ripped me off. I was charged $1,100 for a repair. They returned my vehicle with oil leaks and all parts not put together properly. I have bolts missing and screws loose. Run from this mechanics.
