They had tires in stock to fit my vehicle. They pulled in my vehicle shortly after I arrived.

Have our vehicles serviced at Firestone for years in Arizona. First time to Barboursville, WV location and were not disappointed. Had tires I wanted for front and ordered the ones for rear. I only wish they could do complete service on my Mercedes like the store I used in Goodyear, AZ.

We have gone to this business for years with minimal issues up until a couple years ago. Our Toyota Highlander was our only vehicle for a long time so it got the mileage built up fairly quickly. Took it in for a transmission fluid exchange which we thought had gone smoothly like everything else we have done there. Over time and more miles, a whine developed that no one, including Firestone, could really figure out despite having new brakes, suspension, etc. Fast forward to our most recent oil change, noticed a fluid leak coming out of the transmission, dripping very very slowly. Due to having a Lifetime Powertrain warranty from our home dealer, we made an appointment with Toyota to try and figure out the problem. Come to find out, they checked the transmission was leaking and was so full and pressurized with fluid that the fluid was coming out of the vent. They drained out 7 quarts when typically they drain 2-3. Now begins our fight with Firestone. Claims department is refusing to take responsibility for any of it despite us having proof of what they did. Maybe it’s negligence, maybe it was an accident, but draining a transmission and then filling it with 8 quarts of transmission fluid is not appropriate. Especially when you won’t even take responsibility for what you did when it’s documented on your own paperwork that you are responsible for the issue. Sad to say we will no longer be using this business despite all the good they’ve done in the past. Edit 8/14/25 i finally got around to emailing steve back today will update if anymore info is out. total bill to repair was 8000$

Had an appointment they had well over a week to get the tires there, when I show up to have the tires installed they told me that they do not have the tires I wanted but they could give me a more expensive tire for the same price then they came back to me and told me that they do not have those tires also, the said that I could go to the Huntington store and buy the tires and bring them there to be installed, I started going to the Barboursville store because Huntington store is the worse tire shop there is

I should have trusted the other bad reviews but decided to book 2 of my cars in for basic service. I’m giving 2 stars and not zero only because it was easy to book and front staff was pleasant but the services performed were lazy to unethical. I’ve even created a “ticket” with regional to discuss but after a week nobody has contact me. Please don’t take your car here. Car #1: (lazy work) brought in for a simple Alingment. Once done the Alingment sheet shows toe not very close side to side in both the front and rear. Manager said “it’s within spec” It’s just lazy work. Would have taken just a few more minutes to get the toe much closer side to side. Car #2: (unethical work) I brought in a set of new wheels and tires to be mounted, balanced and have tpms sensors installed. I made sure to ask if they could do that and if their machine would scratch the new wheels. Manager said that’s standard and they never damage wheels. So I pick the wheels up when done, all 4 wheels have scratches/marks where the machine touched. Worst is none of the wheels have sensors. I paid to have sensors installed. Literally charged me for work they did not perform. The tall tech with long hair confirmed no sensors when I brought the wheels back a 2nd time. He got pretty frustrated with me when I asked why I was charged for work they hadn’t done. So now I have damaged wheels and we have to have them redone to get sensors out in. A huge hassle and $$$ down the drain.

Took my car in recently to have it looked at as front driver tire was slowly losing air. Was told there was a puncture on the interior sidewall and 108 dollars they'd replace it. This slow leak took 2 to 3 days and I had filled the tire up that morning, drove 300 miles and tire pressure had decreased minimal. Upon picking up my car the option to replace was presented and I declined, only to get car home and tire was immediately flat. So go change tire to find a new small puncture and absolutely NO interior sidewall puncture as I was told. Very poor ethics and customer service.

If I could post 0 stars I would. Please be safe when taking your vehicle here. Today 2/27/22 we took our f250 in for an inspection sticker and we were called and Told that we needed a modified sticker due to it being leveled and on 37’s. That was fine until we notice our tow mirrors are still folded in. When we went to fold them out we noticed the one on the passenger side is cracked… the man we talked to kept saying well this crack has dirt in it and some of those do look fresh I’m not sure we did or didn’t do it… we understand accidents happen but all we wanted was someone to just tell us instead of hiding it… now we are out 300+ dollars for a new mirror because they busted ours. So words of advise is check out your vehicle thoroughly or don’t go here at all…

My air conditioner started acting up 2 days before I was to move out of state and had limited time to get it diagnosed and repaired. Shannon (at Barboursville location) told me to come in first thing the morning we were to load and they'd do their best to keep me in schedule! They sure did, pricing was great, and they got me on the road confidently! Much appreciated and highly recommend!

Honest and thoughtful team - there to help, not just take money! Rather than just selling new tires, these guys check to see if they are under warranty and will fix them and they did a free rotation for us. Also, while waiting for a tire repair, I heard the person who answers the phone tell people about other local business that were available when it was services not provided by Firestone. Going back here for tire service!

I needed new brakes. Not new calipers and rotors but they stated company policy is that they can only install new brake pads on new rotors and calipers. This is ridiculous and I won't be coming back to any store. Plus, the guy who helped me at the end was rude and acted like I should have known what the company policy was when I wasn't told it initially. Overall, very disappointed and I won't be back.

I purchased aftermarket wheels and tires. They went above and beyond, getting everything unloaded and installed fast. Alec really went out to load my old wheels up for me to take home.

Everyone was super helpful and very pleasant. The big guy in the front was very kind and explained things very well and definitely wasn't hard to look at.

The mechanic failed to secure the screws on the panels underneath the engine after changing the oil. I realized a noise under my car on the highway and could not turn around for another 10 miles. The mechanic blamed that the screws did not secure onto the metal frame. The factor set screws and preset screw holes on the car metal frame. Idiot or moron? The store manager arrived and did not even talk to me about the issue. IT GETS BETTER. SABATOGE. The mechanic losend the factory set screws from the factoryset screw holes. Not only in the engine panel. But also the transmission panel. Ruined the transmission panel and damaged the engine panel. I received a text from the district manager and told him I was not pleased. NO further contact.

Had brakes replaced, rotors and pads on the front. Grinding noise, took it back in and was told it’s fine just wear them in. 3000 mile later still grinding. A year later and thousands of miles still grinding noise. Had the back pads and rotors changed and please inspect the front again. They’re fine is what I am told, then why do the grind when braking. Four visits to say my brakes grind, and told I must be imagining it.

About an hour for an alignment where other places want you to leave the car all day. Definitely will go back here for future alignments. Friendly staff, clean facility, well stocked tires and quick service 👌 👍

This shop is a great place to get your vehicle repaired. They fixed my Tire Pressure Sensor in no time and they didn’t charge me too much for the service. The boys working are amazing and can get the job done. I’m very pleased. I definitely recommend 10/10

ANOTHER ISSUE This place is a joke but unfortunately this is my only option. I called yesterday to make an appointment. I was told by the manager Shannon everything was set up. I drop it off today, he DID NOT PUT ME DOWN FOR AN APPOINTMENT. The dude is like are you sure it was this location blah blah blah.. I dropped my car off to have the brakes looked at.. ended up needing brakes, rotors and calipers.. ok so figured he was talking about all 4... NOPE they ONLY changed the front. They didn't even look at the back which were metal to metal. WHY, WHY WOULD YOU ONLY CHECK THE FRONT?? Wouldn't you check all 4 make sense to me. Now i have to take it back to Firestone to have the back changed. Charging $1081.00 youd think they would.... to me since you're taking the tires off and on you would check the air pressure.. well apparently not.. but I know he saw the low air pressure sensor when he moved the car from the garage to the parking lot because as soon as I got in, it came on. I had to air up my tires in 18° weather.. also I didn't appreciate the black greasy hand prints all over the door handle on a pearl white car.. this place is pathetic FIRESTONE HAS WENT TO HELL

I am beyond pissed. I made an appointment a week ago for both of my vehicles, I emailed with someone, spoke with someone on the phone AND I even made my appointments ONLINE, I selected MY SERVICES I NEEDED, they didn't even have to do anything.. the most incompetent visit of my life. So, I showed up today for my appointment, they don’t have my tires, they have no idea what I’m needing for my vehicles. I only have 1 day off with 2 busted tires, I can’t just take the thing back home. I wish I could give a lower rating. That’s a solid $800 yall lost today.
