Instead of fixing the problem, they just gave me more. I went in because three of my tires are leaking air.. my PSI went from the normal 31-32 to 25, has been low for two weeks even when I put air in them. They told me everything was fine with them and sent me on my way. As I’m driving home I see that they put the PSI of 41 in my tires! Very dangerous, putting me at a risk of a car accident with a tire blowout. Seems something is wrong with my tires but they don’t want to honor my warranty because they would have to say my tires are not repairable and need to sell me new tires at a discounted rate. I called them and Robert brushed me off and said I probably brought the tires in with that much air. Absurd, the reason I took it in was for low air! Very unprofessional. I’ve been a Firestone customer for almost 10 years.. first time going to the Yakima location and will not be giving my business to Firestone anymore.

Yakima Firestone for the win! First of all, they were the only place open on a Sunday! I was traveling to Portland and my brake calipers literally fell apart on the freeway (bad work from another tire place). I called Firestone, they said I could leave the car after hours and put the keys in the drop box. My tow truck got me there like 5 minutes before closing. I was fine with just leaving my car out front, but they checked me in and allowed my car to be dropped off inside the garage. Great communication the next morning, transparent with the work being done and with the price. They worked fast and I was back on the road. Crown these Kings! They have made a loyal customer 100%.

These guys are great. I’ll be back for sure. My dealership gave me incorrect measurements of my break pads, and didn’t tell me about my tires in the back needing to be replaced soon. They were friendly, explained everything to me well, and I was out the door right before they closed. I was quoted by my own dealership 1800$+ to just fix the rotor and breaks on all tires but I paid 1400$ for that and the tires for my back being replaced :) I’m very happy.

My check engine light came on and they were fast to get my car in and repaired. My car needed new spark plugs and fuel injectors. When I talked to Robert it was estimated to take 4 days to get fixed, but they were able to get it fixed the next day. Robert and Austin were very friendly and they had excellent customer service. I would recommend this shop to others.

Austin Mejia, Manager of Vehicle Services is awesome! Explained clearly what repairs would be needed and called a collision center to check if they would accept my Granddaughter’s insurance. Austin went above and beyond showing customer service and integrity for this Firestone dealership. Also a shout out to Robert working the counter. Very professional while juggling customers and the phone lines. Thank you so much guys!

My car was seen promptly and the work it needed was done quickly and with quality care. It is always hard for me to find mechanics that I can trust and these guys were very kind and considerate and didn’t try to make me feel dumb when I asked questions.

I have been going to this Firestone since my husband and I moved to Yakima. They’re always AMAZING! Service is phenomenal, they’re always on top of getting people out of there in a timely manner, and Robert is very attentive and helpful! He also asked if he could pet my pup instead of just going right in for it, which my dog isn’t a fan of. But Robert asked, and Larry actually loved him! Big green flag for me! Picture of Larry included because he’s too cute not to share. 10/10 would and do recommend this shop!!

The staff were very helpful/friendly and the service was done within an hour. I called to see if there was availability and there was none, but they called me back saying another mechanic came in. So I got in done that day! The price for tire and service is also lower than many other places. Hells yeah

I stopped by right at opening, explained I was on a road trip passing through with a tire issue, my tire pressure sensor didn't link with recently swapped winter tires. I asked for a quick link, takes maybe 10minutes tops. I asked if they could scan it and was told it's a 7.5 hours waiting time. There was 7 cars scheduled but none were there yet, front desk confirmed. ****I do not recommend this place.****

I waited little while to write this. I went in for warranty repair, and I know at times when its warranty job is not done correctly. I left their tire leaking worse than it was. Tire was not properly repaired. I was in the tire business for many years, so I gave them the benefit of that doubt. Won't be seeing my business again. had to take my tire to a local shop to have it done correctly.

Especially with the kindness and amazing communication from Robert and Jerry at the front desk! Thank you and thanks to the mechanics for fixing My car! Overall a fantastic experience!!!

Long read, but worth it if you’re considering this Firestone location. I brought my car in for an oil change and requested a full diagnostic. The gentleman (who is the store manager) at the counter was very kind and helpful. Later, I received a call from a different person, Robert, who told me that in addition to the oil change, my rear rotors and brakes needed replacing. He also strongly recommended a brake fluid change, saying it would extend my warranty. I agreed since I trusted their expertise. However, when I reviewed the emailed diagnostic before picking up my car, I noticed the brake fluid had been marked “Checked and Acceptable. Keep it up!” When I asked Robert about this, his first response was, “All of our phone calls are recorded. You agreed.” I wasn’t questioning whether I agreed; I was asking why I was sold something that appeared unnecessary. His repeated emphasis on the recorded call came across as defensive, as if this is a frequent issue. (There was also no disclaimer that the call was recorded, which is concerning in Washington since it’s a two-party consent state.) When I asked about incentives for selling services, I was told there weren’t any, but the interaction still felt like an upsell. After paying, I was handed paperwork that showed a charge for a cabin air filter. I asked if they had changed it, since I hadn’t agreed to that. Robert quickly insisted he “never once mentioned that” and pointed to the section labeled “Recommended Services Not Authorized by Customer.” It looked like a normal charge, and I explained that I would have appreciated clarification since I’m not familiar with their forms. Instead of taking the time to explain, he asked, “Is this your first time here?” He was kind at first, but once I started asking about charges, his tone became rude and dismissive. I’ve been to Firestone before, and typically the staff clearly explain what’s needed versus what’s recommended. This time felt very different with the defensive tone, unnecessary upselling, and lack of transparency. I did call and speak with the store manager, Jerry, who was very kind and helped make the situation better. I appreciated working with him. Unfortunately, a couple of days later, I started hearing a scraping noise when driving over bumps. While heading out of town for a wedding, the noise suddenly got worse. When I pulled over in the middle of the freeway, I discovered the skid plate under my car had not been reattached properly during service. This was both frustrating and very dangerous. I had to drive back, wasting time and gas, just to have them correct something that never should have been an issue in the first place. Now my brakes are making a noise that doesn’t sound normal, so I will likely need to take my car elsewhere to have them checked. If the skid plate wasn’t installed correctly, it makes me question whether the brakes were done properly either. Between the poor customer service with Robert and the unsafe mistake of failing to properly reassemble my car, I will not be returning to this location. Customers deserve transparency, respect, and basic quality of service, especially when safety is involved.

Robert was great and so was the other gentleman that was upfront. Both were extremely helpful and had outstanding customer service. My car was left exactly has I gave it to them, and they treated my stuff with respect. I asked for a tire rotation, full car inspection, oil change, and for them to replace my front wiper blades. I’m very happy with the work they did on my car. There were no hidden fees and they gave me coupon also. 10/10, can’t speak highly enough about the staff. On a side note, when I called to schedule my services, the phone system felt like it was handing me off to 5 different people. I wasn’t on hold for very long, and I had no issues getting to an human, but it just felt weird. Again, Robert’s great, amazing staff members all around.

These people are extremely helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help. Jared (the store manager) caught a potential order issue with tire rack and made sure I didn't pay more than I should've. They also went above and beyond to get my tires on when I had an emergency life event and needed my car ready to go fast. Robert another associate was super helpful at getting all the info together and getting my car into the shop. I will be using their services again and again.

Great customer service! I don’t have the name of the curly-haired man at the front desk, but he was straightforward and polite. I only waited an hour before my car was ready. Will definitely come here again if my car is in trouble.

I’ve been taking my vehicles to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Yakima for several years now, and they never disappoint. Every single visit has been smooth, professional, and honestly stress-free — which is saying a lot when it comes to car repairs! The staff is always friendly and upfront about what my car actually needs (no unnecessary upsells), the waiting area is clean and comfortable, and they’ve gotten me in and out quicker than I expected almost every time. Whether it’s routine maintenance like oil changes and tires or bigger jobs, I trust these guys completely. Pricing feels fair for the quality of work, and they stand behind what they do. If you’re in the Yakima area and want a shop you can count on, this is the place. Highly recommend!

Had a driver's side front blown out tire. I limped into their parking lot a 5pm (they close at 6pm) to see if they could help. I was told that they just started work on another vehicle and that they start closing procedures at 5:30 I asked if they could help me to at least put my spare tire on? He said he called his manager and they weren't allowed any overtime. Was quite embarrassing having AAA come to their front parking lot at 6pm to put my spare on. AAA rep told me he would have done it on his own time. So needless to say I've had two new front tires installed elsewhere. What's happened to customer service? Especially when additional work is needed! Get me on the road and I'll give you my business the next day right? Guess business is really good at Firestone Service Center because their never getting any from me.
