I am writing this review as a courtesy to the owner/manager of this branch. I was very impressed back in January when I brought my car into this location for them to change the alternator for my car. Thinking that doing a routine "A1" service would be easy, I booked an appointment for today at 9 am. I made the call yesterday and spoke to Jason, who was crass on the phone, but I didn't think much of it. Today, I brought my car at 9:00 am with Jason as the only customer service rep, with several people waiting in line after me; stunned, Jason didn't acknowledge any of us as he was doing paperwork, answering phone calls. I waited for 25 minutes (yes, I timed the stopwatch on my phone) with absolutely no acknowledgement of the customers. Stunned, while waiting, I made an online appointment with another location just in case. Finally, I asked Jason, "can you let me know how long the wait will be to do the intake for my car." Keep in mind this is a routine service, for which I could simply just drop off my car. Jason rudely just said, "I'll be with you." I waited for another five minutes and just left. This location needs better customer service; I see from some reviews that the quality of service has declined. That's really unfortunate because my first impression eight months ago was very good.

I made an appointment on the app days prior to my arrival, and I picked this Firestone due to the decent reviews compared to other stores in my area. When I got there, the nice check in lady got me all set up and got my car back pretty much immediately. I was waiting in the store. I was just getting a simple oil change and tire rotation, which they quoted as taking about an hour. I proceeded to wait over 3 hours for my car to be finished, which was an hour past the time they closed. Every time I asked when it would be done, they said "soon." They told me that the oil can plug was stripped due to the previous mechanic that did work on my car. I have a hard time believing that the official dealership for my car stripped the plug, when I got my last oil change a few months ago. It feels like firestone was covering for their mistake. But I can't be sure on that. When I finally got my car, I drove home and my car was smoking. They called me and told me that they spilled "a little" oil on the engine and that it was normal to smoke "a little." In reality, my car had a terrible smell and was smoking each time I drove it for over 24 hours.

I initially came in just because I had a flat, but the comprehensive inspection by the crew revealed a critical safety issue: all four of my tires were worn so badly they were showing steel wires! I was completely shocked, as I had no idea I was driving on such dangerous tires. The team immediately showed me the wear, explained the risks, and got me an incredible price on four new tires, balancing, and alignment. My wife had a tire blowout in Fountain Valley while driving. The car was towed to the Fountain Valley Complete Auto Care facility. They responded immediately by ordering a new tire. Within a couple of hours they installed the tire even after normal working hours. The tire was under warranty and cost me only installation. The guys at the shop are caring, trustworthy and true professionals. I highly recommend them for all your auto needs.

If I wanted to get high off tire fumes and watch a supervisor admonish an employee for no reason, I’d just drive down Harbor with the windows open. Jason: 5 stars. Absolutely. Jason was kind, patient, and professional throughout my visit. He was attentive, respectful, and clearly doing his best to help. Employees like Jason are the reason customers give businesses the benefit of the doubt, and he handled the situation with a level of courtesy that deserves recognition. Environment: 0 stars The interior of the facility smells strongly of tire fumes. The odor is noticeable enough that the waiting area becomes uncomfortable after a short period of time, and it makes it difficult to work or sit there while waiting. The layout also offers little privacy—customer and employee conversations are easily overheard throughout the room. Management: 0 stars While Jason conducted himself professionally, the supervisor overseeing him created an uncomfortable atmosphere. The supervisor with thinning hair repeatedly hovered nearby and addressed Jason in a loud, condescending tone during my interaction. From a customer’s perspective, watching a supervisor correct or admonish an employee in front of customers—particularly when that employee is clearly trying to provide good service—is awkward and unnecessary. It was uncomfortable to witness a supervisor speaking to an employee that way in front of customers. If this is how employees are addressed publicly, it raises concerns about the workplace culture at this location. If this individual is responsible for training or managing staff, I would strongly encourage Firestone to evaluate the leadership culture at this location. The way employees are treated in front of customers says a great deal about how the business operates behind the scenes. Verdict Jason deserves five stars. Unfortunately, the environment and management experience at this location deserve zero. Because of that, I will not be returning.

I scheduled an appointment for their lifetime alignment. This is the 3rd or 4th vehicle I have purchased this package for. This was by far the best experience I've had getting my allignment checked/completed. They got me checked in quickly, started working on the car on time, and my vehicle was ready before their estimated time. The staff was friendly and helpful. The lifetime allignment is an incredible value. Also, they didn't leave any new stains or scratches in my vehicle, which is unfortunately something other locations have done. Great job!

I ended up at this shop a few hours after finding out my dad died, and I was a wreck. Miguel, Alfredo and Robbie showed me the best customer service I ever had. It was more than customer service really. They went above and beyond, to diagnose the problem and find the part, get the part, and install it. I’ve had oil changes at Honda take longer than that. I was out of there in about 4 hours. The manager kept me apprised of what was happening the whole time. I never felt ignored or wondered if they were even working on my car. They were, I knew they were. I felt so much better, because when I got home I was going to have a world of other problems to deal with, but my car wasn’t going to be one of them. I really appreciate the culture of this business and the way they made me feel. This location deserves major accolades for their kindness and professionalism. Especially the Manager, Robbie, as I believe he sets the tone for the attitudes of his employees. Thank you so much.

Amazing service. Manager was extremely helpful over the phone. Knew exactly what I needed and what tires would fit best for my sister's vehicle. He had everything ready for me as soon as I got there.
