I was there to change the tires of my car. They don’t change the tire for EV is fine but they can change their attitude. I was dealing with the guy whose name is Brat with long beard he is so rude with ZERO customer service. Need to be more professional and respectful. We all deserve the respect from each other. I will highly recommend not to be here. First experience is worse in my entire life so far. If someone can help him out please….

I selected Firestone Complete Auto Care at the Northern Terminus of Military Highway that goes through Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake, Virginia. My air conditioner wasn't putting out cold air but the heat works and with the temperature slowly rising I needed to get this fixed or my car will be a sauna in the summer time. Unfortunately, Firestone stated after the diagnosis that I would have to go to the dealership to have a part checked out due to it being out of the scope of what they can work on. I understood that and I did thanked them for their time. If the below didn't happen the review could have potentially received 4 starts but... I asked for a receipt. I was told that it would be electronically. However I never received a receipt, which in detail prompted this review. Receipts are important for follow up questions if I had to take my vehicle someplace else, historical record of maintenance on the vehicle, other uses for the receipt, etc... Had I simply received a receipt (preferably paper copy) this would be a better review but when the consumer insists several times on it and then no receipt is sent, this place the customer to not trust/not recommend/not use this location again for any service! I cannot in good conscience give this review more than what I did. It could be an oversight or cashier/technician/manager error but at this point, the wrong has not been corrected. Update: I finally received an email on Monday, March 31, 2025 but the appointment was on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Due to actually receiving a receipt, I have upgraded my rating to 3 stars. I at minimum would have at least given it 4 stars initially but without the receipt that hurt the rating.

The car I brought in has almost 300,000 miles on it. We took it in for a quote on the brakes and to get an overall checkup. All suggested work was almost $5,000. Jonathan explained in detail everything that was recommended, made suggestions on what we absolutely should fix and what could probably be fixed later but made sure we were aware of the risks involved. He was not pushy at all. In the end, we didn't get anything fixed b/c the car just isn't worth spending the money on and we decided to put the money into getting another car. He gave me some really good tips for used car shopping based on his experience with working on cars (what to avoid, what tends to last, etc).

The team was very helpful. I had a nail in my tire and needed a patch but was on a tight time line. They were able to expedite my service and get me out the door in time. Much appreciated!

Bought a 2023 RAM in 23 and after a few months I had the dealer turn all 4 tires around because I didn't like the the white wall lettering. Since that time I have had the truck back to the dealer 5 times to try to stop the shaking at hwy speeds with no luck. Decided the go someplace I know was reliable. Firestone 2410. Rick listened to my problem and 2 hours the problem was fixed. Can't wait until the extra warranty runs out so I can just go back to Firestone to get repairs like I used top. Thanks Rick

Do not under any circumstances allow your vehicle to be left here overnight. Brought my vehicle in for an alignment service and was not informed of it being ready that day before they closed. Came back the next day and the vehicle was parked on the side of the building where it was dark and out of eyeshot of the busy street. My catalytic convertor was removed along with 2 other vehicles that were parked next to me. The manager of the store was unhelpful. This is not the first time this has happened at this location, per another employee. Be aware and be diligent with getting your vehicle back before they close. They have no cameras anywhere on their building and no fence to keep your vehicle safe. I realize this is happening alot throughout the area; however, a simple phone call to ensure my vehicle was picked up from an area they were aware of is prone to this exact issue would have prevented this entire ordeal that I am now being forced to fix.

Never bring your car here, this was my only option because I got into my car this morning and my tire was so flat and literally on 1. I decided not to chance it and go to my usual place which is Discount Tire, but I WISH I would have. I dropped my car off around 10am today and the guy was really nice, said that they had appointments but it would be ready by EOD. Said that it could be repaired for $35 but they’d call if it needed a whole new tire. Around 4pm I figured it would be ready because it was a simple fix and they had already had my car for 6 hours at this point. My fiancé called and they said it was ready, we walked there and my car is sitting in the same spot I left it in with the flat tire, I’m confused??? The guy at the front is like “Well I don’t know who you spoke with” yet there are only 2 people working here? Anyway I was told I was next in the queue and that they had 2 more hours til close so they would get to me. So I’m currently sitting in the waiting room monitoring them because this is ridiculous 🫠 also they took my car back at 4:55 and said my tire was beyond repair and would be $200 for ONE replacement tire. I told them to put the spare on and ended up paying $30 and leaving at 5:30pm. Save yourself the headache and being without your car for a whole day and just go to discount tire or literally ANYWHERE else. And I also still need a tire so they wasted my time, day, and still didn’t fix my issue. 🤭

I love this company especially after the nightmare experience I had to go through taking my car to NTB in Colonial Heights Va. Specifically Jonathan, he was polite and informative through the whole process. So don't waste your time taking your car anywhere other than Firestone.

We just stopped in to get our check engine light read because it comes on intermittently and we needed it read before it shut off again. My husband asked them to read it for us quickly (would have taken 2 minutes most) and they told him they wouldn't do it without him first paying a $200 full diagnostic fee. Complete bullshit. We will not be returning.

Do not go here. They dont even deserve a star. Dropped off truck to get inspection, alignment and ture rotation. Got called saying needed front brakes and brake fluid. I said just do brake fluid flush. I picked up truck and went hone changed brakes and rotors. ( it was needed). Checked fluid after complete and found that the fluid had not been flushed after i paid for it. Went back, no manager or tech to fix issue at 4 pm. They dont close till 7. Now I wondering if the tire balance complete. Be careful when taking to vic to any any place. YouTube is you friend to recheck what you ask for.

I had a low tire pressure warning and found a nail in my tire. I’d gone elsewhere for a patch up due to my location, ended up at 19 PSI later, so I filled it up and went to Firestone. The gentleman at the counter was great. He helped with removing my tie and installing the spare. They were closing soon, but thankfully I got my tire back at a reasonable time the next day. Since then, I’ve had no tire issues! The same person helped with installing my tire. The patch up at Firestone was about $10 cheaper than the original place I went to, but the work was better

Quick and easy service, Rick and team took care of my car, apologizing for another location's lack of care since I had came from another location to this one hoping for a better experience. Even though this location is 30 min out of my way, I will be coming here since respect of time and money matters and I felt like my car was treated honestly here, thank you Rick!

Went in for a state inspection. I was clear I needed it done the day of. The cashier said if I leave the keys and vehicle, it’ll get done by 6 pm since it’s 1st come 1st serve, and said I’d receive a call when it’s ready. 630 came by and I took an uber back to wait. I was then told that the “inspectors go home at 5 pm and the truck was in line for tomorrow”. Not once did I receive a call from them to inform me. Completely unacceptable communication

I brought my car into Firestone Complete Auto Care 7808 N Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA 23518 for a state inspection and dropped it off the night prior to have a smooth experience. It was not a smooth experience at all. I didn't receive a call about my vehicle until almost noon. The first words out of the Store Manger (Rick) were I need a diagnostic on my brakes system and the headlight needed adjusted. After, asking what exactly was going on he continued to state the brake booster wasn't working properly. I asked how it was tested and was only told his technicians are state certified. No true explanation was ever given. Throughout the several calls (4 calls) he was extremely unprofessional and referred to me as "bud". I'm a certified mechanic myself through the US Navy with 7+ years of experience and have worked on all my vehicles. I told Rick, the store manager, to reject the car. I tested the brake booster and adjusted the headlight myself. The brake booster tested perfectly fine and showed no signs of premature failure. I was able to take the car to a different shop and explained that it was rejected for the brake booster issue with no brake reserve and misaligned headlight. The shop was able to get us in immediately the following Monday after the poor experience at Firestone the Friday prior. The NAPA AutoCare Center at Marathon 8595 Chesapeake Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23503 had been extremely helpful throughout this time. I am truly disgusted with the service I received from this Firestone location and hope Management is aware of how much this location is attempting to upsell it's loyal customers. One state inspection and a quote for nearly $200 worth of work just to "diagnosis". I will not recommend Firestone to anyone at all. I have ended my business with Firestone.

⚠️ Warning to anyone considering this location ⚠️ I dropped my car off here on a Saturday morning for a simple state inspection. The person at the counter said it would be ready either that day or by Monday, which was fine with me. On Monday, I got a call saying they “couldn’t open the driver’s side door.” When I arrived, I discovered the handle had been ripped completely off my car. To make matters worse, they admitted they don’t have any security cameras outside the building—so if something happens to your vehicle while it’s in their possession, there’s no accountability and no proof of what occurred. A basic service visit turned into damage and frustration. If you value your car and peace of mind, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I don't know what I'm supposed to do now. That door doesn't open...period. It probably costs just as much as the car worth...

Rick and his crew do an exceptional job at Firestone. They have an extensive knowledge about automotive repair and I feel we really get the small town treatment. Save your money on those places you sit in your car that have costed me more money in the long run and are more headaches. I would recommend this place all day from oil changes to every day automotive repair. Keep it up!
