Five-Star Review for Matt Travis at Firestone I just left Firestone and felt compelled to leave a review for the Service Manager, Matt Travis. His customer service was absolutely impeccable! Matt was running the entire front-end solo, and still managed to provide top-tier service like a total pro. It was 5pm on a Thursday before a holiday weekend, phones ringing nonstop, customers coming in and out and Matt handled it all with an unbelievable level of grace and efficiency. He never once got flustered. He greeted every call with kindness, stayed calm, polite, and somehow even kept a great sense of humor through it all. He made sure my car was taken care of while juggling everything else, and I watched him move seamlessly between tasks without missing a beat. It was honestly impressive like watching someone masterfully perform under pressure. I leave reviews—good and bad—and let me tell you, this one is well-deserved. The way Matt handled everything with professionalism, warmth, and ease under pressure was something you don’t see every day. Firestone is lucky to have someone like him representing their brand. This is exactly the kind of service that keeps customers coming back.

This has been the worst Firestone I’ve ever been too. Took 3 days to do a brake job. Poor communication and understaffed. I’ll also be filing a complaint to corporate as well. Completely unacceptable service

Stopped off the interstate with a tire with low air, told the man I had over a hour drive home with 3 kids in the car. All he did was put air in it and tell me it was fine. Got 10 miles down the road with a flat on the side of the interstate.

Went in to get my TPS sensors looked at. Took an hour to find out i need a new one on my front right. After that took 2 hours for them to tell me they are having trouble programming. And another hour to replace. Over 4 hours of waiting. Very little communication, extremely disappointed, and wont be returning.

On two separate occasions, less than 6 months apart, I got a nail in my tire. Each time Firestone said it wasn't patchable. In fact, they suggested I buy new tires…like 4 or at least one or two. (HUH? Are you freaking kidding me?) Just picking random numbers of tires that you think I might be willing to replace. I probably have 10K miles left on my tires and they are not even down to the wear bars yet. I took it to a reputable competitor of yours who said they were absolutely patchable and they have gotten this feedback about you all many times before. This is not the first time over the years that you all have tried to scam me. Once time you told my I needed new calipers, well that turned out to only be clogged break lines. Thank you Billy Gladden for the correct diagnosis! You’re actions at this point have eroded every ounce of trust I ever had in you. Reading through the reviews on Yelp and Consumer Affairs, I see my feedback is right on the money. So, you either have a policy of: 1. Taking advantage of women; 2. Refuse to patch a tire if they look a bit worn; or 3. over diagnose a problem to make more money. I am disgusted with you all. Over the last 20 years, I have probably bought 10 sets of tires from you all. NEVER AGAIN. Not even if they were free. Shame on you for the lack of integrity in your practice and your policies. I will take my business elsewhere from now on. Probably won’t make a difference to you but it may help someone else out there if they find this review.

The front desk agents were nice just need do better with communicating with time especially when you had appt set...another suggestion would be firestone need invest in shutter van taking the customer back to destination..although you have lyft and Uber maybe do a partnership with ride services because some customer don't expect to leave there car...but this location is convenient for me..

Took my car there for a tire repair waited 6 hours and none of the tech had a chance to look at it. Having to leave town I just asked for my keys and took it to another shop and they knocked it out in less than a hour. If the customer service wasn’t so slack I would have gave them grace yet no one was helpful, communicative nor empathy. First time visiting that location I won’t ever come back.

Where do I begin? I have been coming to this Firestone for a few years now and usually have had solid service. I took my minivan in for an oil change, and they said my CV axle was leaking. I got the oil change done and scheduled an appointment for the upcoming week to get the work done. Dropped my van off at around 8am. I was told the work would be completed around 1:30 or 2. I called for an update around 12:30 and they told me closer to 3. I then went there at 3 and was told they just had to test the alignment but there were two cars ahead of me. The associate said it would be around 10 minutes-- about 40 minutes later my van was done. Another associate called me up and said the work was completed but that he couldn't start my van and that the battery is testing as having a bad cell. I told him I had bought the battery around a month ago and hadn't had any issue. The manager explained that bad cells happen in batteries, but that I could take the battery back to the auto store I purchased it from and they should give me a refund. So, I had Firestone put in a new battery so I could get going. Of course, this took a lot longer too. I try to be patient, and understand I am not the only customer, but everything that needed to be done took significantly longer than they said. Everything. I took my original battery to the auto store I had purchased it from-- they tested it and it had to charge it for 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, the battery was deemed good, but it needed to charge. Thankfully the store let me leave it there to charge and I picked it up the next morning. I went to Firestone immediately after, and of course they tested the battery and it was fine. They swapped their battery out, and put my old one back in. The employee helping did the work but was not apologetic about any of it. Neither was the manager. I'm appreciative that they fixed the issue, however, that should be a given. I didn't receive an apology, some sort of admission that they did something wrong, nothing. And I think that more or less sealed it for me, that I won't be a returning customer.

Arrived for a simple warranty rotation for a “while you wait” 10AM appointment. Truck was still in the parking lot at 12:10PM. After consulting several times with the store manager, Jayden Moore, finally checked out at 12:45PM. After purchasing my most recent set of light truck tires, the most expensive set from the same store, I expected better service. I understand how scheduling can change with changing priorities, but a quick turnaround should not be offered and not delivered. Very disappointed. I’ve been a loyal Firestone customer for 20+ years. That may change, based on this visit.

I had a great experience starting at the front desk with the manager, Jayden all the way to the Bay Area with Emahni the service technician for my vehicle. Professional through the duration of service. Highly recommend Firestone!!!

I took my daughter's car there for a Complete Vehicle Inspection. I was told it would only take an hour to an hour and a half and it took 3 hours. I was offers a discount because of the wait time. The car was making a rattling sound and the brakes were squeaking but after 3 hours they told me everything was fine and no safety issues. They didn't diagnose any of the issues that I brought it there for. Also, the remote start feature of the car stopped working after I they examined the car and they refused to fix it. I will NEVER take a car there again!!!

In the last year I’ve gotten an alignment, 4 new tires, tune up, brakes, battery and multiple oil changes. Everything went well until I got an oil change on 12/31. Soon after I started noticing spots in the driveway. About two weeks later my oil light came on and there was no oil. Took it back to Firestone and they said it was a pinched O ring redid the oil change free of cost and said my oil sensor/switch was damaged and gave me an estimate. The next day more oil is leaking. Take it back to Firestone and now it’s a cracked oil gasket causing the leak. I was charged over $300 with a discount to fix issue and CV joints now need to be replaced because boot is leaking. None of these issues were happening on 12/31 and I strongly feel these issues were caused by technician error with the O ring causing the oil leak effecting the sensor and CV boots.

Tech broke parts and the manager refused to cover parts cost. It was not a wear item very clearly a technician caused problem. Very disappointed in this locations manager. Photo is new part. It comes down to trusting a shop. If they do you wrong on a $20 part. What are they going to do with a real $ item That steering wheel is just left the shop alignment. I'm now searching for a place to fix my Firestone alignment. :( Well the more you inspect the work the more it looks like sabotage. That boot twisted up ? Just so lazy they can't remove the retainer spring clip? The steering wheel, the inner tie rod boot, damaged parts, and he set the stops wrong. It's just too much. Can the technician really be that incompetent and keep his job? Added photo of replaced part. How does that break it's self? Waiting on an appointment to fix the Firestone alignment destroyed my nearly new tires.

Typical encounter with a chain shop. Had a flat, they fixed it quickly and offered the usual services. Overall, not bad. Fixed the tire for free since I purchased them at a different Firestone.

To say I am disappointed would be an understatement. My husband has been a Firestone customer for 30 years. I had an appointment at 10am to get 4 new tires. Jayden informed me it would be approximately 2 hours because he had to go to another store to get the tires. I understood it would be not be a quick turn around. However, it should not have taken over 5 hours! During those 5 hours I observed my car on the lift and no one working on it. It sat longer unattended than being worked on. At one point I heard a sales associate tell a customer, “all of his guys were at lunch.” Clearly this is poor scheduling to not have coverage. On top of the wait time, my car is now making a horrible noise when I turn on the defrost that it wasn’t making before your techs worked on it. This is extremely frustrating and I’m hesitant to take it back to have them fix it. The service and competency of this store is downright unacceptable.

This location appears to be predatory, I had a family member break down on the road nearby and get towed to this Firestone. They proceeded to do over $1,000 dollars of work that did not address the problem and then recommended taking it to the dealer for further service. This location didnt troubleshoot, they troubleguessed and expected her to foot the bill. She ended up taking to the dealer who proceeded to re-do some of this Firestone's work and when she brought the vehicle back for a followup, this Firestone tried to duplicate a portion of the service they already did and charged her again. They have so far refused to issue any credit for unnecessary services. Please if you have any other options, do not take your vehicle to this shop. The other 1 star reviews are likely all true. Whether its incompetence or maliciousness, you will be taking a serious gamble with your vehicle and/or accounts by using this shop. I spoke with a service manager who said he would bring these concerns to the GM and call me back - that clearly did not happen after more than a week. It appears they hoped the issue would just go away.

I thought my tire blew on my way to dialysis this morning. I had gotten tires last from this location so I called a little after they opened. Person by the name of Jayden picked up and I asked about him checking to see when I last got tires. I gave him my mom's number since she charged it to her credit card last and he told me he didn't see anything. I then gave him my number and he said he still didn't see anything. I described the young lady that helped me and he told me that he didn't have a female there he had all male staff. I hung up and called my mom just to make sure I was remembering correctly and we both called back on three way. My mom told him that she had tires placed on my vehicle and that she charged it using her Firestone credit card. He asked for her phone number and I provided it. Ironically this time, he found it. Then he tells me and my mom that I never gave him that number. I told him don't do that , sir. If you typed it in wrong say that but don't lie and say I never told you her number. He then doubles down on it again! I move past it to get the information that I needed. My mom and I drove to the store. I ended up needing two new tires, rotation, and alignment. While there I was appalled at the condition of the store. The facility is filthy and disgusting. I sat on the edge of my seat for the first hr then I just stood up for the rest of the time. When I got my car back it reeked of smoke. I asked the young lady (**Manager said all male staff, remember ) inside the store if they smoked under the bays and she told me that they don't smoke but that they do vape. I let her know that I'm an immunocompromised person and that my vehicle should not come back to me smelling any different than what I gave it especially with the odor of smoke. I asked if they had some air freshener and after looking around she comes back with some car fabric cleaner, 🤦🏾♀️. I never got an apology for being called a liar or for the odor of smoke left in my car. I am a kidney failure patient waiting on a kidney transplant and in an emergency situation there is no excuse for the filth that I was subjected to. This Firestone location has definitely gone down! I will drive to another location from now on. If I could give half a star I would! Pictures and videos don't do any real justice as to how disgusting it is ! I couldn't show the entire room due to other customers waiting.
