I came in with slipping issues & they fixed A LOT even things that didn’t have to do with the slipping. I paid $3,000 & they said it would fix my main issue & more. Came back 2 days later because it was NOT fixed & they referred me somewhere else because they said it’s a transmission issue which they can’t do. Quoted $6,000 to fix my transmission elsewhere & that’s crazy! Had they diagnosed the issue FIRST I could’ve made a better decision based on priority. Honestly Firestone are crooks. Definitely do your research first and be better educated on your vehicle that was my mistake.

Just like a lot of these reviews, this is a very good place for vehicle service. And, just like we read in these reviews, Carlos was spot on; very knowledgeable mechanic. You can tell he is a busy man and lives his job; said he’s been there 38 years. He Even took time to recommend what future work should take priority. Very timely repair; we had a CV Alex replaced. Looks like it got rid of the vibration. We are now going to schedule the other things that they found in the diagnostic test, Michelle got really good reviews on this site; all true. Found our mechanic. Oh yeah, very competitive rates too!

This place went above and beyond. They did try to upsell me on recently replaced cabin and engine air filters, but that's their job. Tire work was perfect. They even put my tire tools back in the cubby and tipped off the air in my spare. Alignment has my baby humming. Will definitely come back.

DO NOT CHOOSE THIS LOCATION: This location quoted me 330 dollars to change two low beam headlights in a 2015 Kia Optima. After I declined that offer they called be back within 1 minute saying it would be 125 dollars. I asked how much the bulb itself cost and was told only 13 dollars per bulb. I watched a youtube video and ordered the bulbs off amazon and within 5 minutes changed the lights BY MYSELF with no car maintenance experience at all. They must build their business model off scamming 25 year old women. Be sure to google before saying yes to any price they offer you and fight back it just might drop by almost 200 dollars.

I took my SUV in for oil change tire rotation balance and alignment. I had an appointment and they were ready to take the vehicle in. I waited for the vehicle inside of the shop. When the vehicle was ready no one came to tell me it was ready. When I went to check out no one went over the work that was done on the vehicle. They simply proceeded to check me out. No one went over the charges at intake or upon check out. They performed an inspection on the vehicle never said if the inspection was good or bad. Well they did keep the appointment and did the work that was requested, I did expect a little bit of customer service, in terms of explaining what was completed and their observation of the vehicle. I had to callback to question things that with a few moments at check out could have been answered. I would have given five stars just on the fact that my vehicle is intact and appears to be working as expected. But I feel more like I just went through a drive-thru at a fast food restaurant. If you don't care about customer service then they do the work well in the shop. I believe I could have been checked out sooner if someone told me my car was ready. I'm glad I was checking email which is how I found out that it was even done.

Dear Firestone Customer Care Team, I am writing to file an urgent complaint regarding the service I received today, November 26, 2025, at your Brandon, Tampa, Florida Firestone Complete Auto Care center located at: 1501 West Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511 I came in for a routine oil change and was charged approximately $130. However, immediately after leaving the shop, I noticed a severe issue: 1. My car began leaking oil within minutes of pickup. After checking the oil level, I saw it was already dropping. I called the shop within 10 minutes of leaving to report the problem. 2. When I returned, the staff only added more oil instead of addressing the leak. I clearly informed the employees that my car was leaking oil, but the manager told me the workers had already left for the day and asked me to “come back Friday,” showing no concern for the damage already occurring. 3. The staff behaved unprofessionally. The manager and employees were dismissive, disrespectful, and even smoking in front of customers. Their behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional. 4. My vehicle suffered serious damage due to their negligence. Within 3 hours, all the oil had drained out completely, making my engine unsafe and at high risk of damage. I have never experienced any oil leaks prior to this service. The leak appears to be coming from the drain bolt area, indicating it may not have been installed or tightened correctly. 5. Manager made inappropriate and concerning remarks. Instead of taking responsibility, the manager told me he “knows dealers who can fix it for $6,000,” which is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. 🚨 This is a serious safety issue caused directly by Firestone’s improper service. I am requesting immediate and urgent action, including: A full inspection and repair of the oil leak at no cost to me. Written confirmation that Firestone will cover any engine damage resulting from driving with no oil due to their negligent service. A written apology for the unprofessional and unsafe handling of my vehicle. A formal review of the staff and manager involved at this location. My vehicle is currently unsafe to drive, and I need this matter resolved immediately. Please respond as soon as possible

Alternator replacement and diagnostic check just for them to completely rip off the carbon filter cover that one clip was broken. Deep broke off the second one and threw it on the floor and just left the lid floating around in the compartment.😏😏😏

Went in last week. Had a nail in my tire and needed it fixed. They called me and told me they couldn’t fix the hole so they had to replace the whole tire. Cool, fine. Súper nice people except they changed the wrong tire. Which, after I picked up my car, I was wondering why the tire that was originally flat was filled to 57 air. Well, the air finally ran out and that’s when we figure out it’s the wrong tire. My car literally tells you which tire is flat. They called me to confirm they couldn’t fix the hole? The tire they changed didn’t even have a hole? Super confused. Gonna call back tomorrow and will update after. Took the car back. The put a patch on the original tire I needed fixed. Patch did not hold. So I still have the same problem I originally arrived with after spending $150. Wild work.

Finally! My Truck Rides Like It’s on Butter! I’ve been chasing an annoying shake in my truck for MONTHS. Felt like I was driving a paint shaker every time I hit 45 mph. I’ve tried everything — rebalancing, rotating, praying to the truck gods — nothing worked… until I rolled into FIRESTONE and met Hennessy and the crew. These guys pulled out the big guns — the Hunter Road Force Balancing Machine. This thing must be some kind of NASA tech because it found what no one else could. They even went the extra mile and yanked out those balancing beads (which, by the way, are a royal pain in the butt). Now my truck rides smoother than a brand-new Cadillac. In case you’re wondering, this place uses the WHEELS App for fleet vehicles. My brakes on my work truck were pretty bad. My boss told me to find a reputable repair shop that takes the WHEELS App. When I googled it, this was the first shop that popped up. Took it in and spoke to the store manager “Tommy V” Awesome freakin dude! Took care of me and my work truck! Got me in first thing in the morning. Kept me posted on everything that was going on. Granted my company took a while to approve of some of the work being done but Tommy was definitely on top of it! Shout out to the tech who came in on his day off to help finish up my truck! You’re the real MVP BRO!😎 I feel like I owe you some lunch!…lol Truck drives like a dream now! Brakes work amazingly! Definitely taking my truck back the next time it needs any kind of service!
