I called on a Saturday about my wife's vehicle, needed 2 new tires. Sean, the attendant informed me that they could schedule our appointment, however it might take a while longer because they were short staffed today. When I spoke with him later that day, he said his tech left early and wasn't able to complete the tire installation. He called back shortly and let me know that he was able to get the job done. Really stellar customer service, and all staff my wife and I spoke to were incredibly friendly.★★★★★ 5 months ago

Wes Karl, General Manager, and his team did a fabulous job especially Michael the mechanical technician. They were polite, professional and technical knowledgeable. Great customer service. Both Wes and the other Service Writer (didn’t get her name) were great to work with. This shop does not deserve the negative Yelp reviews. Thanks for your help today 9-7-25★★★★★ 6 months ago

Inconsistent price quoted over tge phone versus when I appeared in the store. A different of $34. The person who quoted it (S) went for lunch when I came to the store. The store manager (W) tried his best to honor the price but couldn’t do so. S came back from lunch and I asked S to correct the price difference but was ignored. How unkind?!!! Everything/everyone else was ok. Just felt manipulated by the person who took the order. Shout out to everyone who is not mentioned in here.★★☆☆☆ 4 months ago

Took 4 and a half hours on a waiting tire change with a appointment scheduled. After second attempt at installing tire . First appointment they failed to order the right tires without checking if they were in stock . Had come back ! So about 5 hours invested! Tires were priced good tho !★★★★☆ 3 months ago

Wes at the service desk was amazing. I had a lot of questions on different tire options and he did an amazing job making me feel comfortable with choosing the right tires! I would recommend to anyone looking for tires to have a good chat with Wes, he will make sure you are taken care of!!★★★★★ 5 months ago

I typically go to a family friend's shop, but they have been inconsistent as of lately and I couldn't risk driving any longer with a spare. My dad suggested Firestone and they got me in within 10 minutes of my initial call. I spoke with Sean and he was an absolutely fantastic guide throughout the entirety of my first experience with Firestone. The outstanding customer service came with a run down of what their services were (transmission is not one of them), what their pricing ranges are, and how they go about assessing your vehicle. He even gave me a literal visual using a car toy model of the different parts they check which I've never had shown to me before. He even got me some discounts that kept me within my range; I got a new tire, oil change, alignment, and coolant replacement all for under $230. You cannot beat that ya'll - Firestone and Sean for the win all day! I will be back for future car maintenance needs not just because of the great pricing and deals, but the trust Sean and the firestone team established on day 1 🫶🏿★★★★★ 5 months ago

Had the valves replaced on 2 of the tires. One was in the bed of the truck due to low pressure. They fixed the tired but didnt put it back on the truck. One little extra step in cold snow climate would have been exceptional.★★★☆☆ a month ago

I went to Firestone for an oil change on my Hyundai Tucson and had an amazing experience! Sean took care of me, and his customer service was top-notch from start to finish. He was friendly, professional, and made the whole process quick and stress-free. It’s not often you feel truly appreciated as a customer, but Sean went above and beyond to make sure I did. I’ll definitely be coming back for future services and will recommend Firestone to friends and family. Thank you, Sean, for the excellent service!★★★★★ 5 months ago

Updated Review – Firestone Complete Auto Care, Erie, PA This is an update to my previous review regarding our 2020 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring. My husband and I were in Erie, PA for work and brought two colleagues from Philadelphia. Our vehicle had just been serviced at Mazda (10/20/2025), passed inspection and emissions (10/21/2025), and we went to Firestone in Erie (10/22/2025) for new tires. After that visit, our speedometer began reading 40 mph faster than actual speed, which caused us serious concern. When we returned home to Philadelphia, we visited the Firestone in Ardmore to have the car rechecked. They thoroughly inspected it but could not recreate the issue. Somehow, the problem resolved itself — the speedometer began working normally again. The Ardmore location also reviewed the work performed in Erie and found everything to be in proper order. The technician even called Wesley, the manager in Erie, to confirm details. I want to take a moment to thank Wesley. From the start, he was kind, respectful, and professional. When I first called about the issue, he encouraged us to bring the car back to Philadelphia and assured us that if any problem persisted, Firestone Erie would absorb the cost. That level of customer service meant a lot to us. I also want to clarify that Wes had to remove the wheel lock lug nuts because we didn’t have the key. He handled it professionally, gave us a discount on both the lock removal and the new tires, and made sure the job was completed properly. In the end, we never found a clear reason why the speedometer malfunctioned, but it eventually reset itself and now works perfectly. If I lived in Erie, I would absolutely return to Firestone Erie for service again. Despite the confusion, Wesley and his team handled the situation with professionalism, patience, and integrity — and that deserves recognition.★★★★☆ 4 months ago

Wes at State Street Firestone in Erie - despite being very busy and leanly staffed in the early morning—graciously helped me address a concerning tire pressure issue. He did this without hesitation and in the freezing cold weather, without cost. I can now drive out of state with confidence. Excellent client service and generosity. Firestone’s brand is strong and superb client service is a key reason. Thank you!★★★★★ 3 months ago

Wes, George and parm are the epitome of professionals. During a very busy rush for this upcoming snow storm. Very kind and understanding with the large amount of customers they had and treated everyone with respect. They even stayed late to accommodate the customer. Always come here for any needs!★★★★★ 3 months ago

Speedometer Issue After Tire Service My husband and I were in Erie, PA for work and brought two colleagues with us from Philadelphia. Our 2020 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring has only 36,600 miles and is exceptionally well maintained. It was serviced at Mazda on 10/20/2025, passed state inspection and emissions on 10/21/2025, and we went to Firestone on 10/22/2025 for new tires. That’s where everything went wrong. Immediately after Firestone’s service, our speedometer began reading nearly 40 mph higher than our actual speed—a problem that had never existed before. We were also charged $100 per tire for wheel lock extraction, with the explanation that it took 2.0 hours per wheel. The entire appointment lasted only two hours (10:21 a.m. to 12:22 p.m.), and my husband observed the technician, Darryl, milling around and not actively working for much of that time. It is not possible that four separate two-hour extractions, tire installation, and calibration occurred within that two-hour window. Adding to that, my husband wanted to know why anyone was under our hood for a tire replacement. We were never informed that they would be inspecting or touching anything under the hood. Had they told us, we would have mentioned that our vehicle had just been serviced at Mazda the day before. We also were not informed in advance that the wheel lock removal would cost an additional $400—we only learned of the charge after the tires were replaced. After the service, I called and spoke with the manager, Wesley, who said he had no idea what could have caused the speedometer issue—which was surprising, since a simple online search points directly to wheel speed sensor disturbance during tire changes. I then contacted Firestone’s customer support line, obtained a case file number, and was told someone would reach out to me within 24 hours. We take meticulous care of our car and have complete documentation of its condition and service history. What happened at Firestone in Erie was unacceptable—from the lack of communication and transparency, to the questionable labor billing, to the mechanical issue that followed immediately after service. Customers deserve honesty, informed consent, and professionals who take accountability when something goes wrong.★☆☆☆☆ 4 months ago

Firestone is a great place for oil changes and tire service. They did an excellent job for me and gave me a huge discount. Their winter tires are the best, and Sean Holmes was very helpful throughout the process. Thank you, Firestone!★★★★★ a month ago

Customer Service was amazing however, dropped car off at 09 for new tires and installation then told to come back at 6p. Called for an update at 3p and was reminded of 6p. At 630p attempted to pick up the vehicle which was on the lift with old tires off and were told it would be closer to 8p. Friendly and courteous customer service but 11 hrs for an appointment scheduled the week prior… 4/5 stars.★★★★☆ 3 months ago

Took my car here to have my heating system checked and two flat repairs. I dropped it off the night before with a pick up time of 4pm the next day. When I got there I was told nothing was in the system and it would be a wait for the paperwork to get filled out, so i went to pick up the person driving my other car home. I got back about 40 minutes later, my car was up on the lift and I had to wait an additional hour and a half because they never did the flat repairs the entire day they had it. Then two weeks later I got a flat in one of the tires they repaired and had to have the valve stem rebuilt by another shop. Would not recommend, save your time and money and go somewhere else. They never even fixed my heating system, told me it had to be done at the dealership which was fine, but also said my oil was dirty and my wipers were streaking even though I had a fresh oil change and brand new wipers done two weeks before.★★☆☆☆ 2 weeks ago

Not from the area, but needed emergency tires. They had what I wanted and were able to sell me the tires without anything extra! Easy to work with, very awesome staff (10/24/25 staff). Thank you!★★★★★ 4 months ago

I recently bought a new set of tires from Firestone, and this was actually my second time purchasing tires from them. My previous set of LE Destinations lasted me a solid 7 years, so when I found out—right before a long road trip—that I needed replacements, I went straight back to a place I trusted. I was on a tight schedule, and everyone at Firestone made the whole process seamless. Sean did an excellent job walking me through the latest tire options over the phone, and I ended up choosing the LE 3 Destinations. They had them in stock, got me in super quickly, and completed the installation along with an alignment I opted for. Beyond the great service, the pricing was incredible! The store manager, Wes, along with Sean worked together to get me a fantastic deal, and the team in the shop did quality work while meeting my deadline. I headed out on my road trip feeling confident, and the new tires actually made my car ride noticeably better. Highly recommend this Firestone location for their professionalism, speed, and customer care! Excited for another long stretch of dependable performance from my second set of Firestone tires.★★★★★ 3 months ago

I went to Firestone on 9/6 to get a quote on new tires. I also told them when I drove, I kept hearing a whistle noise. I was told my car would be inspected when the new tires were put on. I had a 1:30 appointment for 9/13. I was told it takes an hour to 45 mins for everything to get done. Firestone didn’t get to my car until 5:00. Since I waited so long, I was given a card for a free oil change. Once I got home that evening, Firestone called me and stated I needed a new battery, an oil change, and brake pads. Sunday 9/13 rolls around and Firestone called me asking me what I wanted to do about the battery. I gave them permission to do everything since my car was in the shop. On Sunday 9/14, I was told my car was ready. They "test drove" my car. I drove two miles to get home and my car stalled on me. My break was locked in place. My oil, battery, and engine light appeared on my dashboard. My car had to be towed back to Firestone. Monday 9/15, I called and spoke to the store manager Wes. He told me my car was top priority for the day, and he was waiting on the mechanic to arrive to work on my car. I told him to keep me posted on what was going on. By mid-morning that day, I called to see what was going on. I spoke to Wes again and he stated that it was my engine and there could be a recall on it. He stated he had to submit a claim to the claims department, and I should be getting a call that day. He also stated they do not work on engines and my car needed to be towed. My father and I decided to go down to the store to talk to Wes in person. If Firestone did something to the car, they would be responsible for a new engine. My father asked if oil was put in the car and Wes stated “That was the first thing I checked when I walked in”. I believe oil was put in the car when my car was towed back to Firestone so they can cover their tracks. Wes set me up with a rental car through enterprise. My father and I went up to Kia (where I purchased my car) to give them a heads up that my car would be towed to them. I explained the situation to them and showed them the pictures. The first thing Kia told me was that Firestone did not put oil in my car. They looked up my car in their system and there are no recalls on my car. I took it upon myself to call AAA to get a tow since claims was not calling me. Claims called me on 9/22. I was told when you get an oil change it can damage the engine. How many times does a person get an oil change? An inspector went to Kia to look at my car on 9/26 and stated the engine can stall 2 miles if no oil is put in the car, as this happened to me. Wes does not care that my car was damaged. He has no sympathy for the situation. He will not own that his workers made a mistake. As a manager of the store, he is useless. All he could tell me is "It's out of my hands and I cannot do anything" and "I do not have a number to claims". You are a store manager and do not have a number to the claims department? Insane! The lack of customer service here is terrible. They are trying to brush this situation off to another mechanic so they don’t have to deal with the problem. I will never be coming back here when all this gets resolved. This place deserves zero stars. If they did this to me, I know someone behind me will be next. Please take this into consideration if you decide you want your car serviced here or else your car will be damaged. As of now, claims called and a decision will me made by Monday 10/6 if Firestone is responsible, which they are. There was nothing wrong with my car until Firestone took care of it. I believe this company will do anything to make money. They took advantage of me. I come to get new tires on my car and in the end I have a frozen engine. I ended up having to get a new car and Firestone paid for the damages. When I turned in the rental car, Wes told Enterprise that the kid who worked on my car was fired. This shows that they made a mistake and will not own up to it. Horrible staff who work here. Thank you Firestone for damaging my car. All over new tires.★☆☆☆☆ Edited 3 months ago
