We recently visited friends in the area and we noticed the engine light turn on. Before we went back to Staten Island, we decided to go to your establishment to see what was wrong. When we got there, we were helped by someone named Brandi and she assured us that everything was going to be ok. I don't like visiting places like this because some people try to force you to buy things or to make unnecessary repairs. Brandi was the opposite of this. Went there with appointment at 9:30 am left the car for changing just 2 tires came back at 3:10 pm then didn’t even touch it from the place I left it! No apology, not a call to say I’m sorry we need to reschedule for another day! Gave me the car key back, and told me to come another day, but not sure if I should go back!

Dropped my truck off for new tires 8:00 am they asked when needed it back I said 2:30 or so and that’s when they called me said truck was ready to go.they also found my alignment was out so the asked me if I wanted the service and I said yes. Every one at the shop was knowledgeable, courteous, and polite. Very pleased with the service at this shop.

Another update: the replacement tires failed under 20k as well!! Mine made it 30 amd firestone offered to do a warranty again, but thats 600 bucks. Im getting another manufacturer installed for 600. Thevwarranty and thevtires are worthless dont buy firestone tires !!2 cars 4 sets of tires not even a 1/3 the estimated mileage. Update: Firestone covered and repaired all damage. Corporate customer service was amazing. The tires are great. Rare to still see this commitment to customers. I was forced by Firestone warranty to have tires that failed on 2 new vehicles with 20,000 miles on it replaced and had to go to Firestone complete in order to do it. I'll admit they were fast courteous and really there was no problem with the customer service up until I got the car back and saw that they treated the wheels like they would be covered with hub caps. There were scratches from the socket everywhere in every lug hole on the outside of the lug holes marks where they took weights off and dents from the socket banging up against the rims, not only did he insist that this is going to happen no matter where I go but he also told me there was no way to prevent it. Being a mechanic myself I reminded them that I used to do it with just a piece of paper towel and he told me that wouldn't work, sometimes we used to use electrical tape or even a piece of shrink wrap to prevent the scratches. I went on Google and found they sell whole socket sets coated with plastic now for this very reason, and yet the manager, the man in the industry tells me this is unavoidable. So unless you want scratches on your nice new rims don't do your tires here. UPDATE: Firestone contacted me and because I was using my own insurance to get it fixed, they said they will send a check for 200 dollars, I paid 477. They also said they will cover any cost of repair should I incur them. I will update as needed

I had an appointment for 11:00 am. After going to the desk after a half hour the girl tells me we have to get everyone in. Why bother making a appointment if it doesn't mean anything? They brought the car in at 12:00pm. The car came out at 1:00 pm. A long time for an oil change. I asked to have the tire preasure adjusted to 37 lb's. Which was not done.

This place is the worst we were there for NY state inspection and they mad us wait and wait we had made appointment at 12.30 we were there at 12.15 they told us you are next and we left the key with them they never did anything for 3 hrs. To do new york state inspection we dont need to book appointment but we did to be sure to get it done on time but they are not pros its very disappointing we left after waiting 3 hrs without ding inspection we dont recommend this place.

Firestone Complete Auto Care in Wappingers Falls is the best! Every time I walk in, Brandi and Jason greet me with a smile and make me feel welcome right away. They communicate so well — they explain everything clearly, are upfront about what’s needed, and always take the time to answer my questions. Jimmy in the shop does excellent work and clearly takes pride in making sure my car is running perfectly. Everyone here is friendly, accommodating, and makes the whole process stress-free. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Brandi (with her fun, colorful pink and blue hair), who went above and beyond to help me find the best prices on a new set of tires. She was patient, knowledgeable, and truly had my best interest in mind. Her kindness and professionalism made the process stress-free, and I left confident I had received the best possible value. But above all, the reason I remain loyal to Firestone is because of Jay. Every single time my car needs service, Jay is the only person I trust to work on it. Driving an older car means I’ve had to replace and repair quite a bit over the years, and Jay has consistently ensured my car is in the absolute best condition possible. What sets him apart is not only his expertise, but his honesty and communication. He takes the time to explain what he is doing, what is needed, and why—making sure I always feel informed and confident in the care my car is receiving. Jay has earned my trust completely. I would stay clear from Firestone. On 10/31/2024 I had scheduled an appointment for the first time ever with Firestone. I was only getting 4 new tires and alignment. My appointment was for 1:00pm. Mr. Jason told me it would be a 2 to 3 hour wait. So I said it’s fine I will wait. So I waited for more than 3 hours. My truck was still parked in the same spot. I tell MR. Jason that I would be leaving. Please notify me when my truck is done. I left the location after 4:00pm. I go home and wait. I call the Firestone location at 6:00 pm. Only to be told by Mr. Jason that they still haven’t started on my truck. Mr. Jason tells me that he would call me 30 minutes before my truck is done. So I can pick it up. Mr.Jason calls me back at 7:40pm to pick up my truck. So I arrived at Firestone around 8:15pm my truck is still being worked on. So I go in and get checked out. Mr. Jason says the associate is still working on my truck. So I waited again a few minutes. The associate brings my truck to the front of the entrance office. The associate comes out he’s covered in dirt and grease. I get in my truck the steering wheel is covered in some grease. The driver seat didn’t even have a plastic cover on it so now the seat has dusty dirt on it. Mind you I had my truck auto detail before bringing it to Firestone store. So I leave I didn’t make a stink about it. Not until I arrived home. And notice damaged to one of my rims. And the only reason I noticed was because I park in a handicap space where I live. That has a light post. So when I look at all my rims.They are all scratch. I immediately called Firestone that night. And filed a claim. The claim adjuster came on 11/06/2024 took some pictures. On 11/07/2024 I received a email that they where denying my claim. After spending almost 1300.00 dollars at their store. They couldn’t even call me. I would not recommend no one to take their vehicle to Firestone. I was diagnosed with O.C.D. So I now how clean my truck is in and out. This truck I purchased back in march of 2024. It’s a 2022 Nissan Titan. I have spent hundreds of dollars getting this truck detailed. So I would think I know exactly what kind of damage is on my truck. My tires where rotated at the Poughkeepsie Nissan dealership a week before I bought it over too Firestone. And they didn’t even put a scratch on it. And the only reason I went to Firestone the following week was because I got a flat tire. So I wanted to have all new tires. So I can get the best fuel economy. So now I have to purchase new rims. Thank you Firestone for damaging my rims. And if you look at the pictures you will see it’s the same scratch pattern.

I didn't expect to have the work done on my 2001 Tahoe until the following day, considering I dropped it off around noon on 10/30/25. Not only did I purchase 4 Bridgestone tires; I had the front end aligned as well as an "under the hood check" and battery load test. I received a call that it was finished around 5:00PM. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and did not try to up sell me anything I didn't ask for. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was done on my Tahoe and I want thank the entire staff of the Poughkeepsie Firestone Complete Auto Care for their professionalism.

Very unprofessional experience at Firestone Complete Auto Care located at 1840 South Road in Wappingers Falls on February 27, 2026. I had a 1:00 PM appointment and returned at 3:00 PM to pick up my vehicle. The front desk staff informed me that the rear brake discs needed to be replaced. I agreed and specifically asked how long it would take. I was clearly told it would be finished in less than one hour. After waiting over an hour, I checked again and was told by the manager that it would take another two hours. When I explained that the front desk staff gave me a one-hour estimate, the manager denied saying that and claimed he didn’t know anything about it. The staff member who gave me the incorrect information was standing right there and did not apologize or take responsibility. There was no accountability, no apology, and no respect for my time. Clear communication and honesty are basic expectations in customer service. Unfortunately, this location failed in both areas. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their customer service.
