Got a flat during our trip to mcallen, thankfully they were open later on a Saturday evening. I called them and told them we had a rental that caught a flat, they said come on in and within 30 minutes we were back on the road! They took the time to even place our spare back in its place. I tried to schedule service for my fleet vehicle ahead of time, but this Firestone location was extremely unprofessional. They rescheduled me twice. both times after I had already shown up. The attitude toward completing the work was very lax. I even overheard a tech saying he didn’t want to install a heat shield another tech had flagged as broken. Later, they told me the part “didn’t come in the mail,” which felt more like someone just didn’t want to deal with it. Overall, not a dependable or professional experience. I wouldn’t recommend this shop for fleet work or regular service. If you value your time or your vehicle, go somewhere else.

My mom had suggested this specific location because she said she felt comfortable and sure that she was taken care of. When I went I had all my questions answered or re explained to where I could understand exactly what they saw going on in my car. I’m use to getting round about answered or my questions being answered by another question in order to pressure me into buying something my car dosnt really need. So I appreciate everyone that was working that day and helped me feel reassured that my vehicle (Volkswagen) was taken care of to the best they could inspect. I have been turned away before because it was a Volkswagen in general. So thank you. And also thank you for having some mechanic shops that you’d recommended I could go see about something special & specific for my Volkswagen. Most places I’ve been too did not have any outside knowledge of places I could look into getting my car further serviced.

I’m usually hesitant to take my car to just any auto shop as I’ve had experiences in the past with mechanics trying to swindle me for more money than needed. However, i felt really comfortable with entrusting this shop with my car. I forgot to get the name of the man at the front but he was truly so nice and understanding. It did take awhile but nonetheless my car’s AC was fixed and I’m grateful.
