I heard good reviews about this place being honest and affordable. After a few problems with my car leading to it sitting outside for almost a year, Five Star got it up and running in just a couple of days. The staff was super friendly, communicative, and at the end of the day the repairs were cheaper than I imagined they would be! After trying out a couple other repair shops, this one will be my go-to as long as I live in Athens. From a college student who doesn't know much about cars, I highly recommend you take your business here!

I own an older, "garage queen" antique car that I'm very particular about the maintenance. I recently moved to Athens and don't yet have the location or equipment to do its annual oil change on my own, so I called multiple local shops and asked each of them the same question: "I have a classic car needing an oil change, I have the oil and filter but I just need someone to do the work." All of them declined because they only supply their own parts (potential red flag!), but Mr. Ashly at Five Star said to bring it over anytime. He personally worked on the vehicle himself and had it back to me within 48 hours. I'd recommend them to anyone.

If I could give this 10 star's I would.. the mechanics do a wonderful job. They will get your car in and out in no time.. I didn't even have to call them with the problem.. they called me and said my car was ready. With the problem I had..pulley and steering wheel belt torn up I thought it was going to be day's before my car would be ready.. but it took 1 day.. I love this place .

Amazing shop. Had my car towed here on a Friday evening for an ignition coil replacement, and they had it done + spark plugs changed by Monday evening, and all for less than three hundred dollars. I took my car in for a list of four minor repairs, including an oil change. Only the oil change was completed. They returned my vehicle with every single indicator light showing on the dash. They said it was the result of a faulty gas cap. We replaced the gas cap but all of the indicator lights are still on. I’ve tried to reschedule service with them many times and they NEVER answer their phone. This place is too busy to care about quality repairs on your car or customer service.

Excellent! Loved Ashley. My son's car went rogue on him on a Tuesday night with the car being in drive but it felt like it was in neutral. Luckily Five Star was close by and had it towed there without knowing how good they were. Had it fixed the next day, turned out the axle popped out of the transmission. It was a blessing that we were able to find someone so quickly and close by and have an honest repair shop. Some shops could have said my son's car needed a new transmission.
