Came in to have terminals and battery checked after taking to the dealership for an oil change. The battery is a few months old from Costco so I had to install it myself. Using baking soda paste I cleaned up best I could before installing. During the oil change the dealership and 21 point inspection they marked the battery as “needs immediate maintenance. So I took it these guy for the fix and they quoted me half the dealership cost so I jumped at it. I waited around a half hour before they took the car to start work. I went in to ask about timing just to be able to plan with friends as I had commitments later and wanted them to have a heads up. Not asking them to rush, the service tech told me “we’ll get to it soon and it takes about 45 minutes. Waited another 15 minutes and then they returned only 15 minutes later. I was charged $62.50 for the service and when I saw what had been done. I pointed this out to the service tech was that everything was fine and perfect in a very condescending tone. Check out the pictures below they are before and after but not necessarily in that order. Not even silicone grease to protect connections. Very dissatisfied with this service.

Needed last minute repairs done for my 1982 oldsmobile omega for a show coming up in 3 days and they knocked it out of the park. Got a new muffler, a new CV shaft, new tie rods and an alignment. The car was too old for their alignment system but they pulled the measurements from an older system and converted the inch measurements to degrees to get it lined up and did fantastic. Thank you for all your help. Would not hesitate to come back for anything!

A drunk driver hit my new, parked car, outside my house on memorial day 2023. Affected my front left tire and door and sides the worst. It’s been about 2/3 weeks of me not having a car, but I picked up my 100% fixed car today!!! I don’t think 5 star auto ever specialized specifically in collision damage, but you’d SURELY think they did- with what AMAZING job they did. They can do ANYTHING. The drunk driver RUINEDD my Ford Edge and they (Nick had awesome communication the whole time, I can be finicky with anxiety) fixed it brand brand new back to how it originally looked and ran. They also did a complimentary vacuuming/ cleaning. Be safe guys, and make sure you have insurance. Saved me over 6k in damages.I will include a Before picture of what they fixed. Now it looks and runs just fine, even better than before.

This place chopped shopped my truck. When I brought it to their attention they said the would fix it and make things right. They tryed to blame it on a different company I didn't know they sent my truck too but yet they refused to give me the name of and they tryed saying they are out of business now. Like are you for real. I more then enough time to fix the mechanics that are wrong along with the inside and outside of my truck. Do not leave your vehicle here unless you would like it chopped shopped. Pictures with be applied and they are being sued

My 2014 volt with 36,000 miles in mint condition transmission went out and when I took it to the GM dealership they wanted over $14,500 to fix. The car was only worth $9,900 so basically totaled. The part was no longer manufactured and was a GM certified rebuild for $12,500. They wouldn’t use a perfectly good part salvaged for $1,500 and seemed only interested in selling me a new car. So I declined the rework and started to look for an alternate shop. After many phone calls and no one willing to work on a hybrid due to the difficulties installing and programming I decided to do a ChatGpt. Only four shops came up recommended to do transmission work on hybrids. My second call was to Five Star speaking to Tony the owner who assured me they could do the work using a salvaged transmission. After agreeing to have them do the repair they pickup the car from the dealership and Nick their service manager started to get to work. After performing their diagnostics they provided me with a couple of options both under $5k. Three days later after selecting the best option to fit my needs I got a call from Nick the car is ready for pick up. Before making the final payment he started up the car and verified with me that everything was working properly. The car ran better then when I purchased it at 12,000 miles from original owner. All under $4,000 which originally started over $14,500. I just want to say thank you to everyone at Five Star Auto Care for the outstanding service!! Five stars for Five Star Automotive!!!

These guys are more than great. My car broke down on my birthday, side of the road with a coolant leak. After the shop received it they diagnosed it same day, informing me the engine needed to be replaced on my 2015 ford mustang. The engine on this car is no where near cheap but Nick helped me out man. They received it Tuesday and I received my finished car Saturday, same week. New engine, AND they swapped over my after market parts from my first engine to this one. Nick even put some gas in my car before the test drive, more than enough by the way. If you need anything these are your guys. Thank you Nick and thank you Tony

Liars, Crooks and Fraudsters! They replace unnecessary parts and do unapproved repairs at your expense. My concern was verified by two other licensed mechanics, I got my old parts back and they were inspected. The work they did was unnecessary. Poor communication skills, business ethics and morals. No accountability or resolve with the manager L. who is aggressive and short tempered. I was kicked out of his office, banned from the shop and threatened to be arrested after I was promised a refund. Stay away from this place!

Had a good experience here. Nick took good care of us when my son needed a warranty repair. He went above and beyond to get the repair approved which we really appreciated. He also gave us good advice and told us some things not to do in the future but wasn’t rude about it. I recommend this shop and recommend asking for Nick.

I hate to do this because on a personal level, I’d like to think that Nick actually cared about my situation and I don’t know who there “diagnosed” the problem. I dropped my car off Saturday for an issue I was having and on Monday morning received a call that I needed a new transmission and that the code was basically a death code for my transmission. $3,800. I was told that I don’t have a powertrain warranty anymore, assuming they thought it was just the standard 5 years/60,000 miles, and my car is a 2019. Something told me to call the dealership I bought the car from and it turns out I did have a powertrain warranty still because I bought the car certified pre owned. I called back to let them know and the whole vibe immediately changed. When I said I needed to move my car from the shop to the dealership and a tow truck would be coming to get it, the response I got was “well are you going to pay me for the diagnosis?”. Of course I was going to pay, I signed that I would pay $150 regardless of fixing it with them on Saturday when I dropped it off. I was at work without a car and tried to pay over the phone. I was told they don’t accept payment over the phone and that the car couldn’t leave before I paid. I asked if he wanted me to cancel my tow truck and he said yes. I had to leave work and find a ride. I paid when I got there and ended up driving it to the dealership myself. They also cleared the codes on my car. The dealership was able to see stored codes and it wasn’t the transmission after all. I can’t help but wonder if that was honest of the shop or just trying to scam me into buying a $3,800 transmission. I was very hurt by the way the tone changed at the shop when they found out I had a warranty and had to move the car. Instead of being understanding, it turned into denying my car a tow and just allowing me pay when I could get there/over the phone while I was going through a hard time. Regardless of whether or not it was a scam, sometimes customer service and understanding goes a long way.

Went into their shop and spoke with Nick. He was very knowledgeable and really helped me out when I was in a pinch with my car. I was getting ready to go on vacation and my tie rod snapped. The team here took my car in quickly and did great work for a very good price. I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs work done on their car! I’ll be going back soon to get a set of 4 tires from them.
