All though my car was repaired and painted a day before they said it will be done (2weeks) for minor damage to corner panel, it’s like they didn’t sand the car before they painted and also paint does not match. Also left masking paper and tape around the gas tank. Been waiting for a call back for a few months now and I haven’t heard from anyone.

The whole process of repairing my 2021 Toyota RAV4 was so easy and pleasant. I had gotten in an accident in 2023 and hesitated on having it repaired because it wasn’t covered by insurance at the time. I was referred to Fix El Cajon by a family member and was treated just like that when I arrived at the shop - like family. Every face that met mine was friendly and welcoming. Our estimator Lalo was thorough and honest about the repairs I needed and showed genuine concern. They kept in contact with me through the repair phases and when I picked up my car- it looked like nothing ever happened! The work was so good! If I find myself needed collision repair, I’M DEFINITELY COMING BACK!

Wow! What a great experience! While no one enjoys having to take their car in for repairs, Fix Auto - El Cajon made the experience as excellent as possible! Lalo was super personable, kind and understanding. He was very easy to work with, explained everything in detail and patiently answered all of my questions. I took my 2009 Toyota Corolla to this shop after a car accident, expecting a straightforward and professional experience. Initially, everything seemed fine; I had an appointment, checked in, signed some paperwork, and left the car in their care. Unfortunately, things took a disappointing turn soon after. Throughout the repair process, I was diligent in keeping in contact with the shop, my insurance company, and my lawyer, making frequent calls to stay updated. However, the shop never mentioned that storage fees were accumulating on my vehicle. I only learned about these fees--over $1,500--when my insurance company was ready to pay. The lack of upfront communication left me feeling blindsided and as though I was being taken advantage of, especially given that this was my first accident and repair experience. The shop's communication was not only inconsistent but also incredibly frustrating. They withheld my car until the storage fees were paid, and despite multiple attempts by both my lawyer and insurance adjuster to reach management, we received little to no response. They seemed entirely uncooperative, unwilling to address my concerns or even return calls. When I finally recovered my car, the poor handling of my vehicle was clear. My bumper was missing, and I had to go back to retrieve it. Items inside were disorganized, and they neglected to reattach the rear lights, which I had to reinstall myself. Shockingly, it even appeared as though a dog had been in my car. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for my property was astonishing. Overall, my experience with this shop has been extremely negative. Their lack of transparency, poor communication, and unprofessionalism have made a stressful situation even worse. I urge others to reconsider using this shop and look for a more trustworthy and reliable autobody service.

I had a wonderful experience Fix Auto, El Cajon. I had purchased a car and 3 weeks later I was rear-ended. I was worried that my car would never be the same, in perfect condition as it was when I bought it. Every associate that I engaged with at Fix Auto put my concerns at ease. I was told what needed to be done, given a date when to expect the repairs to be done, and not only did they meet that date, but I was routinely given updates on the progress of the repairs. When I picked up my car, I was blown away. The paint job was beautiful and to be honest, it looked better than it did before the accident. Thank you Fix Auto for reaching far beyond my expectations and kudos to Lalo, who did such an amazing job on my car! Keep up the good work!

The repair service was very disappointing. It was initially promised that all the parts would be ordered and the car would be delivered on time. Instead, I was faced with significant delays. When I picked up the car, I noticed that parts that did not need to be painted had been painted. The driver's door and the passenger door, which were not damaged at all, had been painted. Also, aftermarket parts had been used instead of the original parts and some of the broken parts had not been replaced. In addition, the headlights were installed aftermarket and the plastic parts on the front bumper were not installed properly. These problems caused wind to enter when the doors were closed and the quality of the work was not at all as expected. When I took my car there for the second time, I informed them that original parts were not used in my vehicle. They told me that when they contacted the insurance company, the insurance company instructed them not to use original parts and to use cheaper alternatives. Despite this, the repair cost reached nearly $9,000. The parts that the insurance company paid for were supposed to be original, but instead, the lowest quality parts were used for my car. Additionally, after the repair, the vehicle was not cleaned, and some promised parts were not replaced. Overall, the service was far below expectations and not as promised by the insurance company.
