Service depart is one of the worst. They doubled the labor rate once I questioned any of the work they wanted to perform. They will charge FULL estimated even if they dont performed it. THAT MEANS for any driver, if they estimate 10 hours and it takes 2 they will charge you full 10 hours. $217 per hour of work NOT PERFORMED! When you ask before the work is started how you think it won't take 10 hours they say "its only a estimate" yet they will still over charge you. STAY AWAY! Ask about it after they say "you agreed to estimate". See how they scam drivers!

Stopped by on Saturday to service my check engine light, parts dept told me that the service dept will be open on Monday. They were polite and nice. I'm looking forward to take my truck on Monday to get the EGR service done. So far so good and looking forward on Monday to get my truck fixed. Even though my truck is a Pet, but I still want to take it Inland, because their reviews are much better then Rush Truck.Eugen was awesome. He took my truck right in and had it fixed right away. Great customer service.

The KW team is great! Parts, Sales, and Service have their act together! They provide clear communication, straight up information, and daily updates on trucks down for repairs. Parts is quick to get you information on pricing and availability. These guys are my go to, I manage over 150 trucks for a fleet and I don't hesitate to call if an issue arises.

Just wanted to leave a review on my experience with this shop, first off, BIG UPS to Nate and the beautiful young lady at the servicedesk, They were super nice!! I've been to many shops and I must say these guys actually cared about my situation, the shop techs were very knowledgeable, guys I thought I was having after treatment issues and anyone in Trucking knows that any shop could have agreed with me and charged me, but they were very honest and knowledgeable, after troubleshooting,the issue was nothing serious at all, they had me back on the road in no time!!! Great shop for repairs, FYI, can't bring your trailer no room for that. Bobtail only. Thnx for every thing GUYS!!!

I brought my tractor in for service, I was expecting to be waiting for awhile but to my surprised my tractor was done in just two days. Unlike other dealerships including other shops. I usually had to wait one to two weeks for the technician to work on my tractor. I will definitely refer other drivers to come to El Cajon Kenworth. The staff at counter were very helpful every time I’m there. Thank you so much for that.

So Inland Kenworth in Fontana left me with the opinion that I'd never do business with any Inland again because of a sales incident in 2020. And until I was left with no choice in April of 2024, I had not given any Inland Kenworth one red cent. But when you are under a load, have a Paccar engine, and the only other shop around is telling you it will take a week to even be seen, and the Inland location in El Cajon is saying the can at least plug into your truck and see why you have both check engine lights, you tend to reevaluate your situation. Turns out, I made a wise choice going there. Not only did they do exactly what they said they would, they repaired my issue THE NEXT DAY! Less than 24 hours after initially showing up, I was back on the road. That's what I like to call doing me a solid. I will not hesitate to go back to them again. I might even be willing to try other Inland locations now...all because the service department at the El Cajon location is on top of their game, at least a far as I'm concerned.

Talk about outstanding! Before our truck even got there in the tow truck we felt better. The service dept. is open and honest. They got our truck in the next morning had it diagnosed, had Dana contacted and had the warranty warranty work authorized the next day. Communication for me is key and they kept us up to date all through the repair process. I give them 10 starts.

Was able to get back my truck in three days while I was expecting to wait for a while, and to a surprise I paid less than what I was told at first day. Inland KW is on top of their game.. I can’t say enough about how professional they are.. I live in Murrieta and this is the only place I’ll take my truck.. Matt Morris in service is full of knowledge and they’ll get your Rig in and out.. No games played here.. I highly recommend them..

The truck was towed in for a bad computer that Wood purchased from Kenworth truck was there two days before they could replace the new computer I bought with another new computer. This was the fourth time I brought the truck back for the SCR system being broke. It seems to only go about 6000 miles or less but they’re able to charge me $5000 or so each time I bring it in and it’s always something else. They charge 500 and $12 to hook it up to the computer and if they read anything else on the computer they charge you another $500 to tell you what that is they’ll charge for additional tests up till they get there $5000 mark

I had a frustrating experience with the parts department at Inland Kenworth. I purchased a part about a month ago from one of their salesmen. When I went back to return it, I was told they couldn’t process the return because their system had been updated and my old receipt was no longer in my account. Instead of trying to help or offer a solution, the salesman jay had a bad attitude and acted like it was my problem. There was no effort to look up the purchase another way, check past transactions, or escalate the issue. I understand systems get updated, but that’s an internal issue — customers shouldn’t be penalized for it. When you spend good money on truck parts, you expect professional service and basic support. The dismissive attitude made the situation worse. I’ll definitely think twice before buying parts here again.
