I took my car to this location for repairs, but the experience was extremely disappointing from start to finish. It took over a month for the repairs to be completed, which was far longer than expected. Throughout the process, my service advisor, Emma, was almost impossible to reach. She rarely answered the phone, and even when we communicated by text, days would pass before I received a reply. To make matters worse, she refused to coordinate with my insurance company and adjuster, which caused further delay and frustration. When I finally got the invoice, I was shocked to see that every part on the bill was marked up by 110% compared to the prices listed by their own parts department and what was quoted by my insurance company. This level of overcharging felt dishonest and unfair. After this experience, I will never return for repairs, and have decided not to buy my next vehicle here either, even though I had planned to do so in the coming months. I strongly recommend avoiding this shop for service.

Wouldn't help me at all even though it was obvious that the issue was a design flaw by Volkswagen.

Brought car in for suspicion of Limp Mode, but had no CEL. Had them do wastegate adaptation on new turbo, and car still made no power. It took about 1.5 weeks for us to come to a solution, and it just happened to be a plastic bag in my inlet pipe. I understand that’s not a normal occurrence, and my car has aftermarket parts on it, but how did it take us 1.5 weeks to check there? I was out of a car for nearly 2 weeks, no loaner or anything offered. They claimed to took 8 labor hours, and they cut me a deal on it, but still paid $450 to essentially remove a plastic bag. Car was also returned with downpipe completely unattached from rest of the exhaust, and I have 0 idea how the techs didn’t realize it. Car was ungodly loud, and terrible vibrations. I had to bring it to another shop the same day to get it put back on. Jason was great to deal with, he had lots of communication with me, and was overall an awesome guy, but disappointed in the time it took, and how car was returned. Most likely will not return.

I had an awful experience with the service department at Flow in Charlottesville. We had an issue with a fan in our Jetta, and we took it in for a quote. The service manager quoted my wife over $1,200. It didn't sound right, so when I called back he Immediately dropped the price by $200 and said it was only $1k. No matter how many times I asked, he would not provide an itemized quote breaking down the parts and service costs. We took the car to another dealership, and they charged $300 total. $110 for the parts, and the rest service. Awful experience at Flow, and we will never buy a car from them!

Brought in a 2018 VW Tiguan with an oil leak and rough idling. They gave no explanation for what had or could have actually caused the problems. Upon my further research, it looks like these VW Tiguans have a tendency to wear out the tensioners on the timing chains. So, could have been something as simple as a tensioner that needed replaced. But instead, the issues were not investigated further and the service department immediately escalated to "replace the entire engine and turbo" for an outrageous price. To add insult to injury I received a phone call from sales immediately after hearing the quote from service. I don't recommend getting anything done here. During this, I realized a lot of mechanics will not work on VW's. Complete Auto Repair & Sales in Staunton, VA has a ton of experience working on VW's. It might take a little longer, but I'd recommend them over Flow Service any day.

Told us we needed to replace our brakes. Took our car to another mechanic and they said no issues with our breaks whatsoever. Since then we have heard nothing but bad things about Flow.
