My daughter lives in Fort Collins and I live in Pennsylvania. Finding a trustworthy, honest, reliable mechanic remotely can be very difficult. As soon as I contacted Adam, he was all of those things and more. He was able to troubleshoot her 2011 Nissan Rogue, complete the necessary repairs and get her back on the road safely and within 48 hours. Adam was so great to work with and I have a tremendous peace of mind, knowing that she has a place to take her vehicle for future repairs/service. HIGHLY recommend Adam and FCCAR.

Update: The next shop that I took my vehicle to noted that my valve cover gaskets and intake plenum gaskets were leaking, even though I had just had them replaced here at Fort Collins Complete Auto (a $454.83 cost). The new shop thought maybe something had been over-tightened, damaging some seals, but when I finally saved up to have this same exact service repeated, another shop discovered that the seals were installed upside-down... Super annoying to have paid so much for something to be done wrong here. Original Review: I brought my '00 4runner here for a timing belt replacement initially, and then some other routine maintenance. I feel like I paid a fair price and got the work done in a timely manner (I did drop my vehicle off for the day at 8AM both times, not a set appointment time). The shop was also honest about other issues with my vehicle/when they thought it was best to stop work, and they didn't charge me just to tell me that (like other shops in the area do.) Really appreciate it.

Adam is a highly competent, knowledgeable and honest mechanic who diagnosed and repaired a pesky fuel line issue I was having with my Jeep Grand Cherokee. The work was done in a very timely manner at a very reasonable cost. I'm very grateful and would highly recommend without reservations.

Adam was great to work with. We were in a pinch with a failing alternator. Adam was quick to provide a quote and quick turnaround on service. After just moving to northern Colorado from the east coast, we were nervous to find a mechanic that was trustworthy, reliable and provided great service. Happy to say that we found that in Adam at Complete Auto Care. Will definitely return with all of our vehicle needs and recommend to others.

I just left Ft. Collins Complete Auto Repair; and, I am a happy customer. The people there are polite, respectful, professional, knowledgeable. My steering repairs were discussed / explained by phone, prior to service. Repair fees were reasonable. No extras were added on. My old Subaru was well cared for and I again feel safe on the road. I highly recommend Ft. Collins Complete Auto Repair. Ft. Collins consumers, I'm sure you will be equally pleased!

Seriously the best, most honest mechanic I’ve worked with in Ft. Collins. Adam and his crew are so kind and accommodating, and despite my limited car knowledge, I have never felt pressured or taken advantage of. I will patron this shop and recommend it to others as long as I live in northern Colorado.

Didn't accurately diagnose car, then stole the gas out of it and my custom tire caps. Then finally, had me towed without notice which cost me several hundred dollars. 2 stars because at least he didn't charge me for the lack of diagnosis.

Adam is an excellent mechanic and craftsman. I had a failed cruise-control battery on my mercedes S550. This was tucked away in the trunk of all places. The work involved electrical, venting, and alot of trim removal and was done professionaly and promptly at a value price. I recommend Wrench and Socket! Steve C Update: I had a level lift and upgraded tire size added to my 2008 landcruiser. Total lift of 4 front 2" rear. Replaced tie rods, the works. Adam helped with the selection of quality ironman struts. Great work, great mechanic. Riding high.and tight now.

I did not find out what was wrong with my vehicle until they called me and told me it was ready to be picked up. No prior authorization call. I would have appreciated the opportunity to talk to the mechanic to go over some less costly alternatives. Heck, I would have paid for their diagnosis and time and done the work myself after I finally found out the problem. When I asked the gentleman if he normally calls customers for authorization, he said “Normally. Do you not want your *part* anymore?”

Five star service! It’s not often you find a mechanic that is honest, reliable, and sincere. I found that here. My car broke down on the way to the shop and the mechanic towed it there for me free of charge. When we determined it was going to cost more than it was worth to repair it, he allowed us to store it there until we were able to get it towed someplace else. In my book that’s above and beyond customer service!! I would highly recommend this mechanic to any and everyone I know! Thank you for being so understanding and supportive!

Great service, helped me to spend way less on my car before a road trip than I was expecting/told by a different mechanic. Fast, easy, and my car made the 7-hour road trip the next day

The main guy running this shop named Adam is the most honest car repair man I've worked with. It's a common concern of every car owner to think "Is this really the value of my repair? Whats the hike-up?". If you don't work on/haven't worked on your own car this concern is completely valid. Adam has told me multiple times "This repair will take me X hours and will cost X amount. This is something you can fix yourself with knowledge and will be a lot cheaper on your own." The guy makes good money from his profession, but always will leave it up to you as the car owner to decide whether or not to invest in his help. Not only do I maintain a 20+ y/o car with his help, but I've also directly learned so much about my own vehicle from him that I could maintain it on my own minus some. This sort of service is NEVER seen with your average mechanic, and shouldn't be appreciated lightly. To Adam and his gang, thank you for being the most honest and helpful car repair shop not only in Fort Collins but in my time as a cat owner. It really means a lot.

It’s often said, if your battery is bad the cold weather will let you know. I thought for sure that was the issue when my wrangler wouldn’t turn over during the last cold snap. I towed my vehicle to complete auto repair before taking it to the Jeep dealership and I have to say, the mechanic here did not disappoint. He worked me in although he had other appointments scheduled. He stayed late investigating the issue. 48 hours later, I received a call that I could come get my vehicle. After checking both batteries and replacing a fuse, it was discovered the starter was the culprit of my vehicle emergency. The price was fair the care and attention taken to get me back on the road was priceless. I highly recommend this shop.

My drivers side window has been broken for about a year and a half. I took it in to a well know auto shop multiple times and they couldn’t ever find the issue. They quoted me $600 bucks and I declined. I finally found Fort Collins Auto on a yelp request. Adam found it to be just some wiring in the door that had corroded. He fixed it all up for $160(ish). I like that this a local small business and most likely will be back for other services. I so happy my window works and saved lots of money.

Took my car in for an oil change. Fast and easy process. Was out of there in less than an hour. They recommended some services and things that my car needs but weren’t pushy about like a jiffy lube would be. Thank you Adam and family. Great place and would definitely recommend.
