Don’t be put off by the appearance of this place! The very amusing Phil is an AC wizard who had my Escalade AC fixed in no time for a ridiculous cheap price. Brilliant!

**BE AWARE** My boyfriend and I took his Audi in for what we thought would an easy AC repair job but it turned into a horrible disaster. We picked the car up and there was damage to the rear passenger seat. Dirt and grease all over the inside. There were miles put on the car which could only mean someone took it for a joyride. Marks and scratches all over the hood of the car and to make things even worse, the AC didn't work!!! Please never take your car here. BE WARNED NOW!!!! We still to this day have to put our car in the garage because its leaks when there is any rain!!! OH AND THE AC STILL DOESN'T WORK!!

Needed a pulley to be replaced on my ac compressor so I could put my new belt on my truck and the owner here Phillip told me he could replace my pulley for 100 bucks but basically just prolonged my fix. The first day he told me the next day he would start the fix, day 3 he finally tells me that he can't fix it but he can sell me a new one for 295?? Waste of time for sure and it was in a time of need, no power from Hurricane Irma for a week and my truck still has a full tank of gas but I can't use because this guy had my part when all along he knew he couldn't fix it he was just prolonging the days to try and sell me the new one..what a con move and horrible try. I wouldn't recommend this guy to my worst enemy. Con artist.

My car broke down August 1st and Fort Lauderdale Auto Air had my vehicle from August 3rd until September 15th and every single time I called or popped up to check on my vehicle they gave some sort of excuse why it isn't done yet on August 16th I called at 4:01pm and was told by the receptionist that the owner(Phillip) would call my call my bf to explain what’s going on later on when I got off of work I asked my bf a little after 6 did he receive a call from anyone and nothing I call up there as calm as I can be because again they've had my car since the 3rd and I had to take Uber’s an Lyfts to and from work which were $13.00 a piece due to the distance anywho I asked to speak to the owner myself and the receptionist proceeds to speak over me because she's rushing to close up shop and hangs up in my face like how unprofessional is that? The next day I call off work to go and get my car from this shop (Fort Lauderdale Auto Air) And when I get there I am informed that they got the gas pedal (which was my only problem) fixed but without my permission they sent my vehicle to another mechanic shop for some other issue that I was never informed of because they caused it an couldn’t fix it. Phillip would not provide any name number or address to this so called shop at this point I am furious as can be and demanded my vehicle be returned by the weekend so I could pick it up. Now the entire time that they had my vehicle not 1 soul from that shop called either myself or my bf to give any updates on my vehicle we were calling every other day just to get updates and most times we were promised call backs which never happened. I was given the run around for the next couple of weeks but September 15th was the last straw I had my bf call a tow truck company to get my vehicle and when the tow truck got there Phillip knew how bad he had screwed up my car so he had the tow truck driver call my bf to try and get us to leave my car there to be worked on some more. When my car was brought to me I didn’t even recognize the cushion in my drivers seat were plucked out decorations that were on my dashboard were ripped off my drivers door could barely close the passenger window was stuck down my key was stuck in the ignition and my car wouldn’t start! Once again my vehicle was only sent to Fort Lauderdale Auto Air to have a sensor in my gas pedal fixed! Instead of these unprofessional people telling me they didn’t know how to fix the issue they played with my time and my car just to completely vandalize it! NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TO FORT LAUDERDALE AUTO AIR MECHANIC SHOP!

I went to Philly to check my ac . He said the wires need to clean up then after taking my 270 he said it'sthe evaporator I get the evaporator then it's not the evaporator. It's the compressor. And he didn't even said let me give her back half of the money. My money go down to waste and I don't have it like that. Smh. Then I went there 7am and I spend all day with my baby. Every time he stop and tending to someone else. I leave evening from 7am in the morning I was so tired and my baby was too.i will never ever use him again to do anything for me and I will never. Nope!!!recommend anyone to go there

I called them yesterday as the car AC went out and was making a grinding noise. Phil immediately knew the problem was the compressor needed replacement. They got me in and corrected the problem. Very knowledgeable and did a great job.

Worst experience of all time since owning cars from 1988. 60+ miles added to my odometer during the time in the shop. Water leaking into the car since they had it. One BIG part not reinstalled after service. Paint scratched. Interior damaged. Power windows damaged. So I dispute the charge with my bank. But, as is the mentality nowadays - owner just denies everything. I challenge you Mr. Owner - be a man and contact me so you can fix your mistakes.

Honesty and integrity in a business that usually has none. I have come to trust very few people in the car repair market. Phillip came through with his honest review of what my car had, hit the problem head on and solved it. Priced right for the work...tell me what else can you ask for? Fort Lauderdale Auto Air now has all my business and that of all my friends.

I first brought Phillip a compressor removed from my car by my mechanic to be repaired. He repaired it within 24 hours and charged me $150.00. I brought the compressor to my mechanic who reinstalled the "fixed compressor", cleaned the lines, and gassed up my A/C. My mechanic said, "the compressor may be leaking, if it starts blowing warmer by tomorrow let me know." Indeed, it was blowing warmer within 24 hours. I went back to Phillip, he checked the compressor and acknowledged that there was a screw he failed to tighten on the compressor and that the compressor would need to be removed in order for him to repair it. He offered to remove the compressor and repair it. Phillip charged me $200 to remove and repair the compressor that was not repaired by him correctly in the first place. This business is very unfair and I would avoid them at all costs. Buyer beware.

The very bad ! I arrived before they open. They took care of cars after my arrival. It was an all day job. My car was pulled in finally, only to witness a non certified person doing the job. I called back to check if it was ready, I was told no ! I ask to see paper of certified worker, They refuse. When I did get my car there was a noise, I stopped at Auto Nation, who sent me next door, the battery cage needed a bolt, also they pulled a tube from AC to tie down the hood arm. I am very angry. I call them I haven't had the time to go back. After the holidays I will. As I was told no appointment needed. It leaks AC fluids !

This is the second time Phil have saved the day in both time, energy and money. He first worked on my Jag which had a ruptured AC line. After he was done with the car the AC was blowing like brand new off the lot. Brought a big rig to the shop and again they performed above and beyond by rebuilding lots of parts to save my company on the bill. He told me what parts needed to be changed and what could be renewed. Highly recommended for all auto AC service.

I took my car to Fort Lauderdale Auto Air because it was smoking under the hood. Previously I had took my car to Foreign Tech and was told it was in need of a head gasket. However at Ft. Laud. Auto Air Phillip the owner took the time to show me and explain what was happening why it was the valve gasket. I received extraordinary service at an affordable price and got my car back the same day. I have not had a reoccurrence of that problem. In these days I highly appreciate an honest person servicing my vehicle. I have recommended several of my family and friends to him🙂👍

I went because the AC was not working, they told me I needed a new compressor. Got the compressor and had them do the work just for the AC to go back out. Went back for them to say it was an electrical problem, they “fixed” that after leaving my car there for 2 days and now its out again. I have went there a total of 4 times and was charged for everything around $1000. At this point I have a huge problem with Philip & his team.

I had my AC fixed there. The same day it quit working again. All they did was put some freon in it and it ran right back out. I called them and they said to bring the truck back the next morning. I did. Without even looking at the truck they said it would need a new compressor. I didn't need to waste my time driving back over there at all. They could have just called me. So I told them to call me when they had a price for the compressor. They never did. Aside from that this place is filthy and dingy. I didn't even consider sitting on the furniture in the waiting room. And I would LOVE to know why they have an ancient yellowed, plastic tub full of condoms on their front counter.

Paid $1280 for a repair that wasn't fixed properly. Car was driven without permission, gas tank left empty. No communication!! Business refused to resolve the issue. Look at gas/mileage before dropping off and when I picked it up. Disgusting!! Hard to find a HONEST mechanic and Philip is not it!

Bought my car here since my AC was not working. When I get there the first time I was told Climate Control was bad. So I ended up paying $200 for the part. Long story short, the climate control was changed 3 times and each time a new part was ordered I was charged an additional $50 on the 4th trip there to get a brand new manufacturer made climate control installed and still didn’t fix the problem.. in the end I was charged an additional $150 for the labor and was told the the AC compressor was now the issue and my AC is still not fixed plus some physical damages were made to my dash plus the mechanic left dirty marks on the car door interior and glove compartment door. Definitely not going back here ever and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
