Such a great service! I was home quarantined with Covid and my car freaked out. I considered having my car towed to the dealership but then thought better of it. Fortunately, I called Foster’s and Daniel was in my driveway about an hour later. He quickly diagnosed the problem and took great care of me. I’m really grateful and will definitely be calling on him again if needed. He was extremely friendly, professional and thorough. Highly recommended!

Of course, something would go wrong after I've paid my car off! I'd started hearing strange cranking noises coming from the engine one day and after pulling up to a friend's house to put it in park, something went up in smoke. Obviously did not feel comfortable turning it back on and driving it back home so I ended up having it towed to my house. Thinking of the hassle of towing it into a shop or shops to get it looked at for quotes also did not seem appealing to me. So I did a google search on mobile mechanics and was surprised to find that was a thing. After reading a bunch of reviews, I landed on booking an appointment with Daniel from Fosters Mobile Mechanic Service. It was so easy to use his online booking form and he texted me within 24 hours with follow-up. He came quickly to assess the damage, let us know how much it would cost and I was pleasantly surprised how affordable and honest he was. The total price was even competitive compared to what shops might charge. Due to mega-storm Izzy, we had to play it by ear to have him follow-thru on the fix. Ice-covered roads in the area made for a dangerous driving situation, but he was so attentive about following up with me to ensure we were in touch the whole time. Once he came out, he got right to work and had my car fixed in no time! I wish most people I contract were as efficient, professional, and affordable as Daniel is. Would HIGHLY recommend his services if you ever need someone to fix your car!

Daniel was a blessing. I was unable to remove one of the deep well lug nuts on a mobility scooter. I gave him a call last night and he was able to work me in his schedule this morning. He quickly removed the lug nut, checked the bolts and lug nuts for problems, and even told me what size socket I should get for easier access to these lug nuts. Highly recommend Daniel!

I had the absolute BEST experience with Daniel who came out to look at my car! My vehicle wouldn’t start and none of the electrical systems were getting any power, but Daniel came out the same day I called! He was incredibly patient, walked me through everything he was doing/checking, and explained the issues in a way that actually made sense! Within an hour he had my car completely fixed and running again!! On top of that, he went above and beyond by checking my oil and coolant levels just to make sure everything else was in shape. Does a great job, just piss poor customer service. He overbooks appointments and does not respond. Was supposed to fix my power steering pump but rescheduled several times. Came out to fix it but left mid job and didn’t put the parts back on that he had took off. Which was no problem because he stated he’ll be back in a couple of days between 12-1. Come the day of the rescheduling, I hear nothing from this guy till almost 2 saying he’s on another job. But like I said good mechanic but terrible time management and communication.

Horrible experience. I’m sharing this in hopes of saving someone else from the ongoing stress and financial burden we’re still dealing with due to this mechanic’s negligence. On a weekday morning, my car wouldn’t start. After doing some research, my fiancé contacted Foster’s Mobile Mechanic Services to diagnose the issue. He came out and told us there was an oil leak, stating he would return once he obtained the necessary part. Two days later, he returned and claimed to have fixed the issue and gotten the car running. The very next morning, I discovered a large pool of oil in our driveway(included the photo and the stain is still there). My fiancé contacted him again, and he came back out only to admit that there was another oil leak he had missed and wanted to charge us additional money to fix it. After that repair, we were led to believe the car was finally resolved. Unfortunately, that was not the case. The next day, just three minutes into driving, my car began displaying multiple error codes it had never shown before. Panicked, I carefully drove to the nearest shop, Mavis Tires and Brakes. After inspecting the vehicle, they discovered an important bolt missing from the A/C compressor. That bolt was later found lying in our driveway where the car had been parked for several days. Daniel admitted via text that he had dropped it into the engine bay and never attempted to retrieve it or even notify us before leaving the day he supposedly “fixed” the car. Mavis retrieved the bolt (which my fiancé brought to them) and reinstalled it. The following day, while driving to pick up my children from school, the car broke down shortly after leaving the parking lot. The engine sputtered, started smoking and completely shut off. At this point, it’s impossible to know how much damage was caused by improper or incomplete work, but we have already spent a significant amount of money on top of what we paid Foster’s. The car had to be towed back to our home and will now need to be towed again to a reputable mechanic to fully reassess the vehicle and essentially start from scratch. I have since contacted the Better Business Bureau and discovered that Foster’s Mobile Mechanic Service is not even registered. Please be extremely cautious before using this service unless you’re prepared for additional problems that did not exist before. If I could give zero stars, I would.
