I am beyond upset with this establishment. I set up to have two tires replaced today and the car was incredibly dangerous to drive home. The tires were not weighted or balanced and one of the tires was overfilled by 10 psi. I was told tire installation could be done in 30 minutes. Trust me, I know when a place is slammed, but it took double the time that was mentioned to me so I was late getting back to work and I had to cancel my trip this weekend and set up a different appointment somewhere else to have the tires weighted/balanced. I had a good experience here about a year ago but this place is negligent and will put you in a dangerous situation. Buyer beware!

I am usually very satisfied with Shattalon Tire’s service, professionalism, caring attitude, good communication and explanation of the issues and their findings, reasonable pricing, great customer service, and resolution of the problem if it is within their service realm. Today I was not disappointed. I appreciate having a car service center where you feel you can trust their judgement about your car issues, their honesty, and competence which is hard to find these days , and where you don’t have to break the bank with the understanding that some work needing to be done is realistically going to cost more because of what it is and entails. Thank you Shattalon Tire…… Derek, Larry, TJ, Robert, and all you guys for all that and how you do your services. You have my respect, confidence, and business when I need care for my automobile. Brought my jeep in knowing the issue. As a mechanic myself it was comforting to know they listened to me! They had me in and out same day whereas 2 different shops told me several days later at the most 🙃. Towed it down to them. Asked them to look at another issue my jeep was having and theu couldn't figure it out but somehow upon ATTEMPTING to figure it out....IT WAS FIXED. they didn't even charge me for this!!! If I have a issue they will be who i call!

I literally got hosed by this place! I went in for a tune up. When I went to pick up my car, I was told that I had a "bad" gates emission control hose and it needed to be replaced. I asked to see the hose. I could clearly see that the hose had been cut with a blade, yet I was being told it was a crack. I know what a crack in a hose looks like. I was even told "I'm surprised that your check engine light wasn't on when you came in." The check inginr light wasn't on because the hose was fine when I came in. I didn't authorize the hose to be relaced, yet they decided to add the charge to my bill anyway. Someone literally cut the hose in order to force me to pay the extra amount. DON'T TRUST THESE SCAMMERS WITH YOUR VEHICLE! IT'S NOT WORTH IT! I'm sure I'm not the only person this has happened to.

Took in a car for a pre purchase inspection and glad I did. They were thorough and test drove it at my request as well. Robert was extremely kind and honest with me about what needed to be done/how much repairs would be. I was very impressed with the level of customer service and integrity that is often missing from many auto shops. Not to mention it was only $30!!! I almost paid $125 for a dealership to do the same inspection. Best $30 I’ve spent in a while.

Been going here for years, no more. 12/9/24 took my VW new Beetle in for tire rotation. Left after a couple hours and later noticed damage to 'rocker panels' both sides. Took back to Derek and was assured they would take care of it. He didn't notify their insurance until in January. Conclusion my vehicle was totaled. I had to purchase another car, my insurance and taxes went up. ALL DUE TO THEIR CARELESSNESS. The person completely missed the lift points causing this damage. The customer pays the price.

I called and got an appointment the same day, (to get two tires changed). The gentleman who answered was polite and very helpful, I believe his name was Derek. The price, and the service were on point, and way cheaper then where I live in PA. I'm from up North where it's hard to find a mechanic who doesn't take advantage of a female needing car repairs/services. I have family in the area, and will be a returning customer when I am in the area. Great price, great service, and friendly and helpful guys! You'd be crazy to go somewhere else.

Shattalon Tire has cared for my cars for the last 30 years. They are great to deal with and they continue to give excellent service. I usually work on my own cars, but when it comes to things I don't want to repair, this is the place! I've bought my tires, brakes, alignments, oil changes and engine repairs for 8 different vehicles to them and they continue to do excellent work and I couldn't be happier with their friendly and knowledgeable service. They are honest, reasonable with their pricing for work and tires and this is the place I recommend to my friends as the ONLY place to go for car care. Don't bother going anywhere else. This is THE place to take your car for professional care by employees who will give you straight advice and get you back on the road!

FYI LONG POST: If I could give this company zero stars from my experience I would. Absolutely the worst service I had in 15 years. Shattalon received my car from Frank Meyers the week of January 14th. I just received my vehicle last month in July, a whole 6 months later. They misdiagnosed my car after being told that it was the transmission from Frank Meyers. The only reason why Shattalon had my car because I was told they would be able to look and repair my car sooner than the 5 weeks I was told from Frank Meyers. Derek and Robert both told me it was the clutch actuator when it was the transmission that was covered through my warranty the whole time. Throughout this ordeal I experienced poor communication customer service very rude and nonchalant behavior about my concerns. I experienced this both from Robert and Derek. It took them about 2 weeks after receiving my car just to call the warranty company. When I last spoke with Derek he was the one that told me he needed to call them. Instead of doing just that he went on vacation the next week without contacting the warranty company. Robert being alone to handle the phones or the shop altogether felt like he couldn’t take the time to call them because they were busy. I was a customer as well who needed my vehicle and didn’t understand why I wasn’t handled as such.. I got swindled out of $2500 and guess what my vehicle is still not fixed. When I asked Robert about it he said that it was fine and he had drove my car himself about 8 miles although my odometer states otherwise. I don’t understand how he didn’t noticed the problem and I knew instantly. He did offer for me to bring it back but for what??? He knew when he test drove the vehicle that it wasn’t right. Told me himself that he drove about 45mph in it so you definitely would’ve heard the sound that I did at just 25mph. If they were the last shop in this area or in the world I’ll be in the best shape because I would rather walk than to deal with them. Oh yea I had to get another vehicle during this time because I didn’t get a loaner vehicle for the amount of time my car was gone to keep employment. Not saying it’s their responsibility but a little urgency about fixing the problem and being right about the issue would’ve been nice. I have recorded calls and video to support everything I am saying.

Had a 8:30am appointment and took almost 4 hours to change 2 front tires and front end alignment. Did not touch the truck until 10am. Witnessed the tire changer knock over my front dually wheel/tire on the concrete floor face down severely damaging the gloss black finish on the wheel face. I had to approach management about what I saw and tire changer wasn't going to tell anyone about it. Company states they will have the wheel face repaired and repainted per my schedule. This has been the worst service I've ever had in the last 32 years.
