I have a 2018 Nissan versa and the engine light was on for while over 9 months and the Nissan dealership in Burleson Texas said they didn't know why it was on would, that i need to get some parts changed and maybe it will work. A friend gave me their number and I spoke with Mr Bill on the phone and he said to bring it in and he fixed the problem with out any hang ups.

Honest, knowledgeable, great communication. Called and talked w/ Bill. Told him the issues I was having w/ my A/C. He asked me to bring it in to have a look at it. Dropped it off. A couple hours later he calls me to tell me he thinks its a temp sensor and recommended I buy a replacement sensor. We found one on ebay and ordered it. Part came in and it turned out to not be what was advertised, but Bill looked around his shop and found one that would work. He said we could install it the "right" way which would involve taking a bunch of stuff out to get to the A/C unit on my car which would have been 6 hours of labor, or, he could install the sensor on the outside of the A/C unit and bypass the the A/C temp sensor. I went with the cheaper option. He only charged me for the diagnostics. $60. He called me at every step and thoroughly explained my options. I've heard horror stories of auto repair places being dishonest, selling you parts you didn't need, and charging excessive money for labor. Bill did none of those things. He explored the cheapest options first, took the time to properly diagnose the issue, and imo, UNDERsold me on labor. I will be going back to Bill @ Freedom Automotive for all of my automotive repair needs as long as he stays in business. Cannot recommend him enough.

I don't know what I would do without Freedom Automotive. These guys have saved me tons of money by double checking other Automotive shops/ dealer's advice and recommendations. I have been going here for years and tell everybody with car issues to give them a call. Everyone gets back to me and thanks me for the referral. If you need any auto work done call Bill at Freedom Automotive. He is AWESOME!!! He has worked on my 1972 Cutlass, my 1994 Bronco and my 2017 Ram and he is fantastic on all cars and trucks. Extremely honest, great work and incredibly well priced. He calls, tells you what the problem is and what it will cost and that price is ALWAYS much lower than you would expect. BEWARE OF YOUR PARTS. They WILL REMOVE YOUR PARTS ON YOUR VEHICLE to REPLACE THEM WITH OLD ONES FROM SOMEONE ELSE CAR. Did NOT REPAIR WHAT WAS REQUESTED. My brother in law has a new battery bought this year 2025 and they replaced it with a 2021 and told him he had a new battery. Then said some battery guy might have taken his new battery. They also said that the belt was too small and put a used belt into the package. Refunded less than half of what they charged him. They just some ROACHES.
