Long stressful repair on a new vehicle. Went in for recall and Oil Change and had a service bulletin repair item on my CX90. Daniela was helpful every step of the way. They provided a loaner, got my vehicle repaired and washed upon pickup. Loaner process was fast and easy, checking in and out was easy, if anything maybe one or two more service techs to help distribute the work load. She even informed me of a service coupon and applied that without me asking. Communication was a little frustrating just because updates throughout the process without me initiating them would've been nice, but when I did get in touch she was kind and informative.

Bunch of Fraudsters. Stay away I called them for information on fixing CX9 check engine light related to engine misfire and gave them the code which I got from Autozone. The lady on the call told me that they will start with diagnosis and will fix it as part of some recall. I asked for the diagnosis fees and she said there are no fees. Everything will be covered as part of recall. She was constantly checking back and forth with someone so that made me think she understands it. She scheduled the appt and set me up for loaner. Next day when i showed up, the first thing the front desk said that there will be a diagnosis fee of $299 and then we can give the total cost to fix it. These are just a bunch of cheaters who use bait and switch tactics.

An incredibly frustrating experience. The salesmen used dishonest claims to upsell services, then presented a bill with intentionally wrong calculations. When I challenged their shady math, the staff got hostile and aggressive instead of acting professionally. This disgusting behavior is a huge red flag. Be warned: double-check every single figure if you deal with them.

I came in for an oil change yesterday and everything went as smoothly as it could have! My service manager Dom, took a look at everything and let me know what he thought needed attention. It was a great experience and Dom was very personable. He also gave me a recommendation for some tires! After reading so many negative reviews, it's evident that people are not aware of how car dealerships operate. They make a majority of their profits through service not car sales. The service advisor's job is to RECOMMEND services that won't be necessary (crankcase flush, throttle body cleaning, etc...). This is not a personal choice, but rather what they are trained to do by Mazda in order to generate profit. In general, if you plan to have your car serviced at any dealership, you should anticipate this and check your car's service schedule to know what is actually required for your vehicle at a given interval.

Stay Away, go to any other place but not this My Mazda 3 was working fine without any issue. Immediately after the regular 80k service on way to home my engine lights came off and car stopped moving on the expressway. They fixed it but it was very temporary. Since then my engine lights keep coming of and stopped on expressway. I am now not sure whether to drive this car anymore. This is the worst experience I ever had with regular servicing. If your car is new you are fine but don’t go after warranty is over. I should have read others review.

Paid $300 for diagnostics - they recommended a bunch of services that I didn’t need - Transmission Fluid change $350, Brake Fluid change $260, and spark plugs replacement $430 - I know that I don’t need any of these because I had gotten them done elsewhere just weeks prior. The technician even added water to the coolant because he said it was half a gallon low - I myself had siphoned some out after another service center had overfilled. I took some out to put it back at the full line. Mazda technician decided that’s not enough and added water??? As for the service that I actually needed, they were charging me $1700 - I declined and just got it done elsewhere for $80 plus labor.

3.5 hours for an oil change and tire rotation in the middle of a week day, NO car wash. That is with an appointment. Go somewhere else, not worth it. I’ll never come back here for any work on my car.

Like the cars but this service center is awful. It’s always slammed. Getting an oil change takes half a day even with an appointment. The only reason I go is because I accidentally pre paid for it when I bought the car. I probably won’t buy another Mazda because the service center is so bad. When you go the reps guilt you into only giving them good reviews or they'll be fired. Then when you leave a review on here instead, they track you down and call you and confront you about it anyway. I just want the service done, not justifying my continual bad experiences at this place. Instead of making empty promises, how about starting with adding a clear line - so the customers don't have to awkwardly tell each other who is at the front of it since we all have to wait so long.

I recently had an experience with Bryon Kovacs, the Service Director, that started off a bit rocky but ended up being absolutely fantastic. Initially, I was frustrated with some unexpected issues that popped up during my car’s service, and I wasn’t sure how things would turn out. However, Bryon stepped in and completely turned the situation around. He took the time to clearly explain what repairs were necessary, breaking down the details in a way that was easy to understand and transparent. His professionalism and patience put me at ease. Not only did he ensure the repair was done at a fair price, but he also went above and beyond by completing an additional repair at no charge! The level of care and dedication Bryon showed made all the difference. I left feeling valued as a customer and incredibly satisfied with the service. I can’t recommend Bryon and his team enough for their outstanding work and commitment to making things right!

So have them car for full detailing, maintainer, brake, battery and door issue. Good thing they gave me loaner for period of work and as discussion full detailing was made free instead of discount. After keeping my car there for 2 weeks when I got for first time detailing was not done. They took it back and returned after a few days, as a curtesy they drove it back, however again last row, door bins, under seat were bad. So they took it back again and I picked after 4 more days due. Found after reaching home glove box and under middle seat is still not cleaned. (This time I am done, so not reaching back and giving up) Inall office staff was curtious and sorry during first return. They tried to to keep happy, however if workmen ship is bad office staff can’t do much. This was my third service with them and atleast it forced me now to try other place.

Had a very disappointing experience with the service department at Fremont Mazda. We brought in our vehicle (which is covered under Mazda’s prepaid maintenance plan) for a simple 7,500-mile service. Service advisor upsold my wife over $200 in unnecessary add-ons like fuel system cleaner and crankcase treatment—none of which are part of Mazda’s recommended maintenance. When I arrived just 40 minutes later to cancel the extras, they claimed the additional work was already done—yet the car still wouldn’t be ready for another two hours for the basic service. The timeline and logic just didn’t add up. This felt dishonest and predatory. We’ve been loyal Mazda owners for over a decade, but this kind of treatment really erodes trust. Be very cautious and question everything they recommend.

My service appointment on May 16 went well. Dom Faustine was great as usual. He got me in and out quickly so I made it to work on time. I appreciate the service center’s early hours of operation. Dom was as patient and knowledgeable as ever answering all my questions to my satisfaction. Although my service contract has expired I will continue to use Fremont Mazda’s service center due to quality of care the staff provides.

Absolutely the worst car ownership experience I’ve had in my life. Within a year of buying from this clown show of a dealership: The engine failed — yes, a full engine replacement. One of the tires went flat, and when we called ahead, they explicitly told us flat tires are covered under service. So we drove a full hour to get it serviced, only to be met with a shrug and a flat-out refusal (no pun intended) to fix it — not even for an out-of-pocket payment. Now it’s late afternoon, I’ve wasted my day, and I still have to: Find a separate tire shop to fix what they wouldn’t touch. Drive all the way back to get back in line so this "majesty" of a service center can maybe grace my car with their half-assed attention. This place is all promise and no accountability. They talk a good game on the phone and fall apart the second you're actually on site. Avoid this place like the plague. If you value your time, money, and sanity — take your business somewhere that doesn’t treat customers like a nuisance.

I've been to this Mazda service center three times now, and each time I've been disappointed by the lack of functioning car wash and vacuum services. During my most recent visit, I was told that the car wash and vacuum were out of order again, and that I would have to return on another day if I wanted my car cleaned after the service. It seems like this center isn't prioritizing car cleaning as part of their service, which is a real letdown. While the mechanical service itself might be adequate, the lack of attention to detail and the repeated unavailability of the car wash/vacuum make me question the overall value and customer experience. If a clean car after service is important to you, you might want to inquire about the availability of these services before booking an appointment at this location.

The definition of "right away" This service center redefined the world. Now - "right away" means 15-20 minutes. It should be like Steve Job, announcement to one more thing that the lining up for shuttle service and waiting for shuttle both are "right away" but cost more than 15 minutes! They also don't make calling of shuttle service and signing of rental car service from different customers parallelly handled so it would be 2 "right away" at least. The carelessness and discrimination from male cashier I got the comment from the male sitting there in cashier area stating Costco is really close when I am leaving. It's not about the distance. The shuttle service is there to offer, and it should be offered. Also, even the Costco is close, with the eta specifically implied, we can adjust. If it's "right away" then it's fine, but when your right away is 30 minutes then probably it's a all new concept, and didn't offer any value for me to estimate if I should take the service or not. Oh, let me remind you one final thing to the male in the cashier desk - my feet is uncomfortable (gout) and I felt bad to be discriminated. That's so bad. Both people are really bad in cashier area. I wouldn't order a shuttle service if my feet are okay today. It's very bad of him to do this. Not everyone who looks okay are really fine. If you don't believe that I have gout, I can also show history of gout in medical record. It's really really bad.

My new car’s bumper got a dent in a minor crash. When their marketing team contacted me for a service appointment, I mentioned it, and they said they’d look at it along with the service. I mistakenly assumed they’d handle it, but bumper damage needs a body shop. They could have just said that upfront instead of having me come in for a routine service. During the service appointment, they gave me a body shop number that never answers or returns calls. Two stars for dishonesty. They technically offer pickup and drop off shuttles. But they are super delayed and if you are even remotely time contained avoid them.

DO NOT USE FREMONT MAZDA SERVICE CENTER. I had a shockingly bad experience at Fremont Mazda service center. I brought my Mazda 6 in for basic maintenance and was immediately hit with a $1,000 quote for unnecessary services. After insisting on only the essential work, the agent tried to charge me $200 for basic maintenance, only reducing it to $150 when I showed proof of their own email offer. The agent listed every rejected upsell on the work order, which felt like a warning sign. Before handing over my car, I took a video of its condition. The staff also took photos on their iPad. When I got my car back, there were several long scratches and numerous micro scratches all over, likely from their car wash. I pointed this out to the agent Maria who involved their Director Byron, but they refused to take responsibility, accusing me of making false claims. When I protested, the Director and agents stopped talking to me and walked away while I was still talking. I went in and threatened to call the police, that is when they started talking again. After another round of back and forth and accusations on me, the Director applied some liquid to the scratches which didn’t help much and did nothing for the micro scratches which are all over the car. They were dismissive and unprofessional. The Director openly challenged me to do whatever I can and even gave me his visiting card telling me to bash them all over social media. Worse, after leaving, I noticed my steering now vibrates at speeds above 60mph—a problem I never had before. Given their attitude, I didn’t even bother reporting it. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I strongly advise anyone considering Fremont Mazda for service to look elsewhere and always document your car’s condition before handing it over. P.s. there are recent reviews suggesting that their car wash is under repair and these are a week or so after I got my car services. This is proof enough to conclude that the scratches are from the Fremont Mazda’s car wash.

I am completely done with this service center. A basic service ended up costing over $1,000, which is unreasonable. Almost 80% of the bill was labor, making even simple maintenance absurdly expensive. Every visit feels like a constant upsell, staff try to scare you into replacing parts that don’t seem urgent or necessary. Instead of transparent recommendations, it feels like pressure tactics. They also overbook appointments. A basic oil change took more than 4 hours, which is unacceptable for a scheduled service. This has been my experience every time at Fremont Mazda—long waits, aggressive upselling, and inflated labor charges. I asked chatgpt how much should I had been charged in bay area and just angered with the difference. This is complete loot. Fremont Mazda- GoodBye forever.
