They were supposed to rebuild the transmission. After taking it back twice after they "repaired" it because the transmission wasn't working, and there was a lot of fluid leaking from my auto, I figured I would take it someplace else to see what they were doing to my auto. They broke the hose for power steering, broke the hose to the transmission and most of the clips that held the hose plus broke the AC. Most of the transmission fluid had leaked out. I decided not to take it back to G&S because it was apparent they didn't have the ability to complete the job and I didn't want them causing more damage to my auto. Plus they would keep my auto for a week each time I returned it. They did have another agent do the work on the transmission. But they should have taken responsibility for their work and checked their work.

Gilbert was able to take my vehicle in the day after I called to fix a suspension problem. He was honest, understanding, and finished the job the same day. If I could give this place six stars I would. Definitely my new mechanic and shop.

These guys tried to charge me way too much to change the front ball joints, control arms, and links. The amount they were charging per piece was way over the price I could get it for online (I get charging extra to make a profit but on some parts they were charging more than double). Then when I told em I was good they tried to charge me $50 for looking at it.

I have a 2014 chevrolet impala, I know these people for 30 yrs of my life .. I put my trust in them for that reason and boy was I wrong now I have spent over 5000 dollars repairing my car due to the lack of knowledge these people have .. the owner of the shop only has knowledge in the past of body work and his repair guys don't know how to work on cars they leave missing parts. The owner junior is very disrespectful and if the job was done wrong he charges you 2 times he's a crook and I wouldn't recommend Noone to this shop ...

Dropped off my car because the check engine light was on. He said all we needed was an oil change and a checkup. He said he’d charge 300 me then changed the price to over 400 when someone else picked up the vehicle! Not even a week later the check engine light came back on. I just took it to another shop to find out there was a hole in the oil pan that he should have noticed during the checkup he overcharged me for. Very unhappy with the service and I implore you to go elsewhere.

Super grateful to the owner of this place>>didnt get his name. My battery died in a 7am no standing zone at 6:45am in pouring rain>>.I called 40/40 cab service they showed up without cables. Great customer service and quality service especially the black guy that did my breaks for the Audi. I forgot his name but he didn't get to finish my breaks the day of so he apologized, delivered my car back to me then completed the job 1st thing in the morning when I drop it off. The prices is actually a bit lower than market so that's a plus. Great guy and great service. Would definitely recommend🙏🏾

This is my go to auto shop for everything, I live close by and I've been going here for about 2-3 years and they have always been so kind to me. They have helped me with many things such as oil change, inspection, tire rotation, checking the breaks, and even helping me when rats chewed my cabled and my car wouldn't run. One of the workers even came on his moped a few blocks to meet me and turn on my spark plug so that I didn't have to get another expensive tow. I will probably go here for as long as I have a car. Highly recommend. Hispanics and cars are always a good mix!

Gilbert’s an honest mechanic (unlike my dealership), he won’t try to sell you two transmissions. He’s helped me out with everything from oil changes, brakes and rotors, to gas lines eaten by rats. He’s not cheap, but he is a lot more affordable than my dealership and does substantially better work than them.
