Sadly, I was charged almost $850 for a transmission line and radiator repair. At the same time,, I provided the radiator, transmission fluid and partially taken out the radiator. Some services are over priced. Be careful and Financially aware if u have your vehicle towed to Gary's for service. With that said, they do have professional mechanics who will go the extra mile. Last, always ask if they will charge for an estimate. It might run someone $166. Anyway, thank u Gary

I called to set an appointment for them to take a look at my vehicle, which has been giving me transmission problems. At no point during the call did they tell me they charged a fee to diagnose. When I dropped off my vehicle, without explaining what they were having me sign, they requested that I sign a sheet (which allowed them to do work without a written estimate). I asked them if they would inform me of what work needed to be done before they charged me for work, and only at that point did they tell me that they charge an hourly diagnosis charge. Then, the woman at the counter very sarcastically and rudely told me, "Yeah, that is how our technicians get paid. They don't work for free." They have lost a customer for life. They purposely withheld from me that they charge a fee to simply look at and diagnose your vehicle. Don't sign anything without fully reading it! Also, I noticed after this experience that many other reviewers have had a similar experience. Beware of these dishonest folks!

Had to have my truck towed in to Gary Sapp's. Was worried because I had a intermittent problem. Was worried they would need to keep it for a long time to diagnose the issue. But the technician (Mike) got on it and had it diagnosed so fast. He fixed it and explained everything which settled my nerves. From the front desk to the technicians they are so nice and helpful. I would definitely suggest taking your vehicle to Gary Sapps if you have any issues. I will for sure!

I wanted to make sure I left a review for this place of business as it is one that I most certainly will be using again for anything that I am not able to handle myself. Billy was absolutely amazing with keeping me up to speed on the repairs. Gary made sure to come out and introduce himself personally, that goes a long way in my book. The most important fact about my interaction was there was not one attempt to upsell me, and I get it, it's how profit is made. Overall a great experience and my wife's car is back on the road. I brought my car here months ago and was pretty satisfied with their prices. I never really thought of writing a review due to several reasons, but finally got around to doing it. The reason I can’t recommend this shop is because the rare time THEY mess up, you’ll be the one paying the price. Their labor warranty does not mean anything and sometimes even the simplest spark plug/valve cover gasket job can set you back almost 4 figures. I got a valve cover gasket replacement and brought my own gasket to use. I understood that I would not be covered for the part, but the labor warranty was covered and they would try to resit the gasket if it was ever another leak. Fast forward a few hours after getting my car back, I smell oil coming from my AC. Turns out they over torqued the bolt for coil pack. I attached a picture of the hairline crack. I was told not to undo ANY bolts or I would void the labor warranty and was recommended to just bring my vehicle back in to be looked at. I wish I had taken a picture of where the crack stemmed from after I decided to work on it myself, but anyway, I brought my car back, asked them what happened, and was hit with the usual “yeah that happens with old vehicles as the material wears down” (something along those lines). I asked them how much it would cost to replace it—and they hit me with a price almost reaching $700 if I remember correctly which included the OEM valve cover and warranty. Keep in mind I already paid I think around $150 for the job I needed done previously which might’ve been an inspection for long travel and the gasket job. They would not take ANY responsibility for their mistake. I’m sure they are great mechanics. Hate to be the unfortunate customer that had to be on the front end of a careless mistake that almost costed me hundreds and could’ve been easily avoided with more care. Please just be sure to reiterate ANY and ALL concerns before AND after letting them work on your vehicle.

When we relocated to Pensacola both of our vehicles were being shipped from Hawaii. In the meantime we researched a repair shop on the Gulf Coast. Luckily we found Gary Sapp Automotive on Pine Forest Road. Dolly and Doug were extremely helpful to us newcomers. Since our arrival of our cars we had several minor and major repairs done. The pricing were upfront with no hidden charges. The repairs were done in a very reasonable timeframe. We feel very fortunate to have found an amazing place in our neighborhood.

I have been going to Gary Sapp for 5-6 years for both my Ram diesel trucks. I have had them work on flex plate replacement, a/c compressor and components replacement, harmonic balancer replacement, gas tank replacement, and all routine maintenance and fluid changes that go along with a vehicle that is used commercially running coast to coast. Each time they have done a superb job. The customer service that is provided to me is always top notch. It starts when I walk through the door and I am greeted by Dolly & Doug and goes until I am satisfied with the job performance. Doug and Dolly are the face for Gary and are always willing to help well beyond what is required. To give an idea of customer service and help afforded me, while on the road in Idaho I started having issues with my truck. I called and spoke with Dolly and Doug about the issues with my truck and get advice. They took the time to speak with me so I could describe the issue and they had me send a video so they could evaluate what was going on. Spot on. Another time at the beginning of Dec. 25 I picked up my truck, while driving down the road a my truck lost power, unrelated to the issue it was in for, so I returned to ask questions. They had one of the mechanics come out to evaluate my truck. I was met immediately by one of the mechanics to do an evaluation. Within a few minutes he had identified and addressed the issue, all as a courtesy. I would recommend using Gary because of the customer service and professional work.
