I have used this particular shop a whole lot since I Live Now like 3 minutes from it. Every time I'm going in there I feel like they've been honest with me about the work that needs to be done. My vehicle was recently in a hit-and-run and experienced a lot of damage, when the insurance company totals out my car I did not want to get rid of it because I really wanted to buy myself more time so I took it to Gateway Tire and Care Center and even though they didn't do any of the Bodywork I can still drive my 2005 Ford Taurus. Going to be going back to get my inspections as I did two years ago and looking forward to seeing the guys who have taken excellent care of me and my car.

Don’t go here unless you just need air in your tires! Dropped my car off here and when I picked up the car a week later , it could barely make it home! Car was in a worse condition than when I dropped it off! The lead mechanic, Dave, told they did a rewiring of the transmission but now there is a computer issue that only Ford could fix then charged me $1000. When I took it to Ford, they said all my wires were out of place and I just needed a wiring harness which only cost me $500. Gateway auto tire basically charged me $900 to mess my car up with no type of sorry or reimbursement. Waste of money and time!

Charge me for something that didn’t get done and could have looked over it to see what the problem was just charge you then make excuses I highly recommend you take your car elsewhere

Getting off work Tuesday before Thanksgiving a little early about seven blocks away from the job my tire blew out. Made a few calls nobody could come and help at least for up to 2 hours just happened to Google the closest tire location to where I was they were literally 2 minutes away I rode there on three tires and a rim. He happened to have a tire to fit my car gave me a decent price and also gave me some advice on some more work I might need He literally just saved the day for me so thankful.

During a bad storm on a weekend, we got two flat tires on the drivers side of our car. We had it towed to Gateway who was closed for the weekend and the holiday. When we got there Wed AM to drop off the keys and explain what happened, David already had a quote ready for us! Not only that, but they caught our bad brakes on the back before we had to buy rotors and offered to fix those for us as well. Prices were great, owner was honest and transparent, work was done in a day...all around amazing experience and we will absolutely go here first for any car issues moving forward!

I am from Little Rock Arkansas me n my wife had come into STL for a Cardinals game left the hotel the next day to go home and the tire light went off on our 2020 mustang on 20" aftermarket wheels didn't really know what to do pulled into Gateway cause they were close they pulled the wheel off and found it was cracked 4 times which they are a tire shop not an aluminum welder which I knew noone there had no connections like home David went above and beyond to get me and my wife home pulled the wheel found it was cracked then called a local aluminum welder and took the wheel there himself and had it welded up yes it took all day but cause of David I made it home by 10pm that night and was able to be back running my business as planned the following day not many businesses like this still making it 150% recommend

I was at City Hall trying to get inspections so that I could do my vehicle registration that afternoon. Called them and they said I could come right through. Walked in and they took my paperwork and started working on my car. I was out within 20mins. Asked them to check my tire pressure and they did. Their waiting area has sockets and a gun all machine so if you have your charger you can totally charge your phone if you’re running out of charge Great service!
