After a disappointment, at another branch, I came to this location and Spoke with Dan Manager and I explained what had happen, and Dan has great customer service skills. Dan took my car in and introduced me to Collin the Service tech, that was doing the work on my car. I have to give these guys a five star rating, because they deserve it. I have been going for a few years now. They are very friendly and efficient. Prices aren't rock bottom but they have saved me thousands over Toyota dealerships. Good stock of tires and great prices. Coupons via the mail often save you major money 10-20% off on $1000 repairs or sets of tires. Website is helpful but requesting a quote from it is a black hole and you don't get a call back. It's easier to just talk to them on the phone. They are very accommodating of walk ins for most situations.

I took my daughter's car in for extensive work. The job was done well. I had a good idea of the cost before going in and the price was a little under my estimate. Steven at the front desk was very nice and knowledgeable. Another gentleman, I believe the shop manager, kept me informed on what the mechanic found wrong with the vehicle and the progress of the job. I went to Gatto's on Hibiscus on the recommendation of a friend from the area, as I live out of state. Great recommendation.

Damaged new rotors while replacing upper ball joints. I had just replaced the brakes and rotors on my Truck the previous month.After I picked up my truck from a replacement of the upper rotors the brakes immediately stated to pulse and the front end vibrate. When I return to Mr Gatto, they inspected the brakes and confirmed they were warped but took no responsibility or action to correct the problem. Instead they tried to blame the brake manufacturer and suggested a warranty claim. This was after I had driven the truck over 800 miles with not a single issue.These are $400 dollar brakes and are from a reputable manufacturer. Mr Gatyo was obviously looking for an excuse and tying to defect blame from their questionable service abilities. Use their services only at your own risk!

Great group of guys that’ll make you feel like family. They’ve worked on all of my cars and I have never had an issue. I’ve had a transmission replacement, exhaust work, oil changes, brake service, alignment, and more done at this shop. I recommend this shop in particular to everyone that I can because of the GM. Joe knows his stuff and he’ll do whatever he can to make sure you receive top quality service.

Went in with an appointment for a front end alignment and oil change. The oil was change but I was told it would be awhile I could make an appointment for the alignment. I said I already made an appointment. The guy tells me I might not need an alignment my tires are shot. Which they are not. His customer service sucks. If it was close to closing and you didn't want to do it just say that. He goes on to say he has no control over the machines. I understand that. But an appointment is an appointment. I know I need an alignment now I have to go another Day with out it.

End of October: We have been to this facility twice. First, with a flat tire and was offered a free wheel alignment and then with my wife’s new car for an oil change and tire rotation and was also offered a free wheel alignment. Notice the pattern. This establishment is NOT interested in providing any real customer care. Their goal is once you’re in the door, how hard can they bang your wallet. My wife brought in a coupon for synthetic blend, recommended by the car manufacturer and the dealership, and was switched to full synthetic. Largely because this is how they operate. We also feel they took advantage of her for being female. After sitting there for 1 hour with an appointment, I took over waiting as my wife as she had a doctor’s appointment. After an additional 45 minutes goes by, I went to the counter and asked what was taking so long. The counter guy said he was waiting for the alignment machine to become available. So, who cares if you sit there all day as long as they can ring the register? I told the counter guy the car has 7,000 miles and does not need an alignment. He said okay we will bring your car up. I further questioned him about the car alignment scheme, and he was silent because they got caught. When I received the bill and inquired about the oil switch, they blamed my wife. Their approach only serves their interests. I’m sure it’s not just an alignment. That come on turns into additional parts, then you need new tires etc., etc. If you want to get scammed this is the place for you. They are not sincere, are not honest and do not care about you as a customer. We will NEVER return and we are going to address this with the corporate office.

The woman at the front desk completely misdiagnosed my issue, then got into an argument with her boss. Overall, the front desk staff, who should be focused on customer service, is unprofessional and should be replaced. The mechanics also seemed to have bad attitudes.

Hands down the best shop, super friendly and knowledgeable, they explain everything to you. I had a flat tire and needed a new tire because it was in the shoulder, they brought me into the shop to come see where it was and told me they would have to order it. The tire was ordered and I had an appt set to come back the next day to put it on, I had a little bit of a wait but I just watched a movie and had some of the complimentary coffee. If you're looking for an HONEST shop this is the one. I had some other questions and they told me what I needed to know without being sugar coating it which as a New Yorker I can appreciate. I have had bad experiences at the dealerships between price gouging and scaring you into buying things without showing you what's wrong. I would definitely come back to Gatto's again.

Took care of my car right away. Very busy shop but well run. Gave me estimate right away, started on my tire purchase. Then asked for an oil change. Got a price, told them I was trying to keep the repairs under a certain dollar figure, I would have to wait on the oil change. My car takes total synthetic so it's more expensive. The very nice man at the desk quietly looked for a coupon and I decided to do it. Done quickly. I was out of there in 90 minutes max. Nice people to do business with.

This place is a freaking rip off. They don’t know what they doing. I went because my AC was blowing hot air and they told me my whole system was contaminated. Luckily I had a warranty with KIA and took it to the dealership and my evaporator was just leaking and they fix it for free. Gatto’s was trying to charge me $2600 and stole a part from my fuse box that deals with my AC. This is a horrible business and I’ll never go to them again. They’re con artists and thieves.

There are many auto mechanics, and even several Gatto locations, But this Gatto location on W Hibiscus in Melbourne is above and beyond every time! The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable, Darcy has such a great personality she makes you forget about all your car problems, but above all, Joe (manager) Is the most knowledgeable mechanic I've ever had, and that is saying a lot considering how many cars I've owned! Joe will make sure that not only are you safe in your vehicle, but you are happy and excited about driving it!

Wow! These guys are off the charts in service, politeness, timeliness, quality and fair prices. They gave me a quote for struts and stuck with it, which was $600 lower than a competitor's. It was done in half the time, too. No, they are not related, but I sure wouldn't mind if they were! Two thumbs up!👍👍

I feel I must warn people about Gatto's. They are not the honest and caring service provider you may think they are. I made an appointment for 1:00 today for a tire rotate, balance and an oil and filter service. Upon arriving @12:45 I checked in with (Darcy?) and advised her that I had brought an OEM filter and 5 quarts of Mobil 1 0-20w full synthetic oil with me. Because about 4 months ago they did an oil and filter service and I was experiencing an engine knock on cold start. My research indicated it could be due to one of those items being different from OEM. This next part is where I share the blame for the following outcome. She couldn't figure out how to price out the labor cost so I said, "I understand I have to pay a reasonable labor charge so go ahead and do it, I know you will treat me right". When the car was done she advised me that they needed to charge me .5 hrs labor which is $80. So I purchased my own oil and filter for $52 and gave them $80 for the labor. I told her I would have happily paid $35-40 but she just convinced me never to return. She advised me that they should not have accepted a customers own oil and filter. Last year they broke a tire pressure transmitter and I paid the full $100 even though they were replacing that tire and it worked fine when I came and didn't when I left. Don't believe all their nonsense about being honest, fair and low pressure. They got me twice, today is the last time. There are many good mechanic shops in Palm Bay, Gatto's is not the place you want to have maintenance done on your car, Beware, you have been warned.

Gatto’s Hibiscus best customer care in the area shout out to Darcy she always takes time to listen and breakdown the details of my concerns- the techs addressed my car needs right away and even got me with no appt when my car oil leaked from my vehicle they fixed the issue the same day and sent me on my way.
