10/10 Recommend I love this place I think I’ve finally found my mechanics!!!! They were upfront and honest about pricing and availability!! They were able to get me my car back same day, granted it was a smaller issue (ac broke) but the prices were fair they worked hard to get it back to me in time!! I love these guys I will always keep coming back here for all my car troubles and you should too!!!

These guys blew me away with their kindness, determination and willingness to help despite my job being a tough one. I was stranded with an inoperable vehicle and the service advisor, Edwin, agreed to try to help me after I was turned away from 2 other shops. They did a thorough diagnostic exam and worked methodically through my problems, only changing parts that would likely improve the result. No throwing parts at it here. They made shrewd choices and nailed it. Great work at a fair price. Gio was instrumental in diagnosing my issue and Edwin did a great job with the repairs. They knew my situation and stayed late many nights to try to get me back on the road. They run a great shop, are very good at their work and just all around awesome human beings. I was around their shop for a week and they are professional, respectful and treat customers well. Highest Recommendation!

Gio and his team are pros! Very friendly, fast, professional, honest, and fair guys who will go out on a limb to get it done for you. Brought in my 2008 Volvo S60 for an axle he knocked it out of the park! I will certainly return for future items! 10% military and public service offered, allows you to bring parts in, just be sure to do your best that you're bringing the correct parts!

Had an awesome experience with Gearhead Automotive! I had a ZL1 1LE bumper sitting in my living room for way too long, and these guys came through and got it installed. It took a bit of time, but they made sure everything was done right, and the quality of work was top-notch. The price was fair, and you can tell they really care about what they do. Super grateful they got it done before the snowstorm hit! If you need a solid shop with skilled and honest mechanics, this is the place to go. Highly recommend! 🔥🔥🔥

The manager or the owner. Whoever I talk to constantly really nice. He knows what he was talking about, and the price came right around what he said. I don't know about workmanship yet. I actually ended up at this shop by accident, but Gio and Edwin were able to take care of a persistent issue I’ve had for over a year that has cost me hundreds of dollars and plenty of mechanic visits. Long story short, three separate mechanics read an engine code and referred to common or simple issues without further or lazy diagnostics, resulting in an evap issue coming back perpetually. After discussing this with the team at Gearhead Automotive and the steps I’ve already taken, they went a step ahead of other mechanics and retested everything to diagnose the issue appropriately and lead me to a true solution. They communicated consistently, explained exactly what the issue was with video evidence showing what others missed, and exhibited a very high level of knowledge in their work, professionalism, and honesty. Very glad to have found this shop.

I had an amazing experience with Edwin and his team! I heard about this place from a good friend of mine who I also work with. She loves this place and I totally understand now!! I was thinking about getting this car and had wanted to get it checked out before hand. Edwin took my call with care and concern and had one of his employees take a look at it. He ended up doing a full test drive and look over. All in all he gave me his professional opinion and treated me like family. I would recommend this place to everyone! Man where do begin?! First shout out to Gio And Edwin !!! Those guys are truly professionals and very knowledgeable. I would say I always have my doubts going to an auto shop, but with these guys I felt very comfortable and reassured. Geo is a very hard worker I came in with a Blown head gasket and he worked to repaired the head gasket for about a week, but my engine was so warped that I had no choice but to get the engine replaced. Gio sacrificed his time to work on my vehicle so I could get my vehicle as soon as possible which I have never seen a mechanic done So he aren’t my respect 1000% and for Edwin he’s been very great when it comes to communicating and just keeping me updated and also it was very thorough in his explanations and timelines. I would say these guys truly make you feel like you’re a part of them and that’s a wonderful fulfilling so I’m most definitely will be coming back and I’ve officially have an auto shop. I can go to confidently. I highly recommend anybody to come and have a great experience like I had. Trust me, they will work with you through any means.

Had issues with my car, scheduled an appointment but wasn't able to make it, so I had my vehicle towed the next chance I had to their shop. I had a wonderful experience with GearHead Automotive in Norfolk, VA! I have a luxury German vehicle ( Mercedes GLA-200) so I always anticipate inflated pricing as can be expected with European cars. However, the pricing from this shop is extremely competitive in comparison to larger commercial automotive shops in the area.To top it off service was quick and efficient! The mechanics were knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend their services and will be a repeat customer! <3

Edwin and Gio were awesome! They charged very reasonable prices and everything was fully explained to me before any work was done. They did a thorough inspection of my car and found a couple of things that needed to be fixed but were not urgent. As soon as I can afford to I will be going back to have more work done.
