Great small and friendly company ! Came in with a faulty part, instead of having to purchase a special order part for a high price, Ubaldo (the company manager) worked on my car to ensure it was fixed in a faster, simpler, and outrageously less expensive way. Will be coming back for any future car maintenance/work and recommending to everyone who lives in the area !

Overall bad experience. Store not open as late as stated. Workers may damage vehicle components over torque bolts. No availability for walk ins. I have been rotating the same tires for years buying the same warranty over and over just for me to barely drive the car the tires pop again and again and then I’m paying for warranties again and again. Idk what these guys got going on but please if you value your time, your money and your self. Just go to pep boys I never heard of a shop that closes at 6 that stops taking customers at 4-430 stating the technicians only stay till 5.

I booked an appt for 11 am on a Saturday. Past due for an oil change (it slipped my mind), and I had noticed the smell of burning oil and smoke coming from under my hood. When I came in, a man who appeared to be the manager was immediately condescending when asking how it is that we suspect an oil leak, and scoffed when I rejected the $99 diagnostics “care package.” Like another reviewer, I was told to sign agreeing I’d seen an estimate of the charge before they could even tell me the estimate. I found out after the fact that it was $126 for the oil change— $72 for the oil change itself and $50 for the “Complete Vehicle Inspection Plus” which they seem to automatically include with an oil change even if not requested. I picked it up 6 hours later, & they claimed they saw nothing indicating an oil leak, or any other issues. Imagine our (un)surprise when the problem persisted, and we popped the hood to still see smoke and oil pooling at the bottom. Taking it to the dealership next weekend. I’d highly recommend taking your car elsewhere, as I should’ve done from the beginning.

They replaced four tires and though my Tire Pressure Monitoring System stopped working in the process, they found the problem, made the repairs, and solved the issue at no extra charge. Great technicians and great customer service! Kat is the best!

They replaced a bad battery I got without any issues or added charges. They were quick and even did an additional safety check on the vehicle all without extra charges. Would highly recommend this location!

I have taken all of my cars here. Last year, they passed my state inspection with no problems. This year, they tried to tell me my headlights were not 'up to code' (please keep in mind I only have taken my vehicle here so any repairs, updates, maintenance work, etc) they have done. I asked if guidelines changed and they said no. Tried to price gouge me for replacements. Found a much friendlier and reasonably priced shop. Will no longer give my business to Firestone.

Took our Subaru Outback in for an inspection, and Firestone said car would not pass the inspection unless we had the front brakes/calipers replaced and brake fluid flushed. One week before going to Firestone, I had the car at a mechanic's garage and they checked both front and rear brakes and confirmed the brake pads/rotors were like new, and the calipers had no issues. I even had the mechanic document the brake condition. When I told Firestone that the front brake pads/rotors were good, they still insisted I needed new ones and a brake fluid flush for approx. $1,000. This is a form of extortion, since we were put in a position of either accepting unnecessary service or failing inspection. Needless to say, I asked for my car back without letting them do any work and immediately took our Subaru to a Subaru dealer for inspection the same day. They inspected/passed the car with no issues, and no repairs were required! Warning: do not use Firestone for inspections, they will try to find items that do not need to be repaired and will not pass your car unless you pay for the repairs that are not needed.

Brought truck in for a check engine light. Once diagnosed, it was supposed to be done by the end of the day. They ordered the wrong part 5 days in a row and never fixed the problem. Went to pick it up and they had done $900 worth of other bullshit i didn't ask for. Threatened me with a mechanics lien and keeping my truck for ever. Not including names because I don't believe in getting people fired. Take your business anywhere else. They won't fix it.

The Firestone location on Granby Street in Norfolk Virginia took great care of me this morning. I came in on a compact tire with a flat tire in the trunk. They checked it out and told me it had a slice and was not repairable. They gave me a reasonable price for a new tire, installed it quickly, and stored my compact tire safely back in its special storage area in the trunk. Under all my junk lol Ubaldo is the Store Manager. He was friendly, patient, knowledgeable, energetic, and honest. Everything I want in a shop experience!

This is gonna be long-winded. Got my truck towed here cause the wheel bearing self-destructed. Got a quote for $1200, they got started. Day or so in they told me the upper control arms needed replacing, another $600. I declined, I’d fix those after I got my truck back cause those are easy. Another day goes by and they tell me that the new knuckle doesn’t fit right, maybe something’s bent? But they’re gonna see what they can do. I go by to check, take a look at the old parts and the new cause I’ve worked on cars for years, this is the first repair I’ve let anyone else do on my truck. Fair enough, parts don’t look the same. They’ll continue to figure it out. Then they ask if they can source from a junkyard cause nothing is fitting. I’m fine with that, done it myself several times. They call me finally, a week after it was towed there, to let me know it was done, the alignment is perfect, I can come pick it up. I drove it home, noticed it’s pulling to the right. Alignment is not perfect. Call to inform them of this and they tell me that they did everything they could to align it, I’d need to take it elsewhere for an alignment and they’d reimburse me. Decided I’d go get the alignment checked somewhere else after work Monday (I didn’t drive it over the weekend cause I wanted the alignment rechecked). I made a mistake and took it down the highway to get to work. I nearly had a panic attack at the way it handled. Something was very definitely wrong. I took it to another Firestone and waited while they tried to align it. When they were done, they informed me that they did the best they could, but the wrong parts had been installed on my truck, so there was no way to correctly align it. I paid over a grand and waited a week for a piss poor repair job that could have cost me my life if I didn’t know how to handle my truck properly. And on top of that, I was left stranded and had to figure out a way home without a vehicle. Completely unacceptable. The only acceptable part of the situation is that the store manager agreed to let the other store handle fixing it without further cost to me.

To me the Golden Star of FireStone! The company location that trains the CEO. Have been coming to this Firestone for a while, and the service has been as easy as paying for gas at the pump. This firestone has taken care of me hands down. They are worth the trip, tow, and distance if you need a quick place to go. I been to other firestones and similar shops and agree it comes with the territory of a bad unreliable name. But, this location is the one that shows that life is more than our once or twice encounter, but a forever thing created by Jesus himself. Thank you Lord!

Horrible service! Sent my daughter there for oil filter housing and coolant flush. They recommended other services that it didn't need! I know this for a fact since I inspected it before moving her to Virginia two months ago. She declined the recommended extra services and when she picked up her car it was all done besides spark plugs. Called the manager and he said she approved it when she signed the receipt! That's not how that works! I own my own shop in Wisconsin and the work is approved before any work is completed! They clearly like to take advantage of not only women but women who are in the military serving our country! I wouldn't recommend anyone taking anything to them especially if you don't know much about cars. It's also weird how the service advisor said they would refund some of the money but the manager says no because it was approved! Supposedly the service advisor (yes the one saying refund) and one other person heard my daughter approve the services. If that's the case why would he say she would be refunded yesterday but now today magically he heard approval from her! They clearly care about padding there pockets and not treating women with respect!

Five star service. Bought 4 new tires a few months ago. Got a “low air” warning. I’m a little old grey haired lady with knees that no longer allow kneeling to fiddle with tires. Drove to the store where the manager personally fixed me up on the spot, checked all the tires and sent me on my way with no charge. I’ve used this store for some time and have always had excellent service.

Place is good just for Tire related work. Everything went fine with the work they did. But when I was done and they did their "inspection" the sales rep said that i need a new air and cabin filter. When I know I had changed that 2 days ago. So do not trust their inspections. They do not know much beyond how to do Tire work.

Donovan and his colleagues were completely amazing today!! My oil change light came on and I was in a time crunch and needed to get the oil changed on very short notice. Donovan and his team were able to squeeze me in and get my oil changed in about an hour, despite the fact that the shop was quite busy. This shop understood the assignment and went above and beyond for a loyal Firestone customer. Thank you Firestone for being my automotive repair shop of choice!! I appreciate the care you take with keeping my vehicle running smoothly!!

Very quick, professional, and friendly service. Got towed here with a flat tire for the first time and they took care of it within the hour. I usually come here when my tire pressure is low and that’s always taken care of immediately as well. Staff is always ready to explain things to help keep the car in good shape.

Came in for an inspection after my last appointment was canceled without my knowledge, customer service was not there at all. I informed them that I came in for an inspection to be told that they are by appointment only and after stating that i did have an appointment for today, i was met with "well even if you had an appointment you needed to be here at 9", the guy that rescheduled my appointment did not tell me my appointment time whatsoever. Overall, that small interaction that required no attitude in the first place ruined the whole visit. Accurate-tune down the street was much nicer, welcoming, and patient. I'd recommend accurate-tune over this place anytime :)

I made an appointment online to check out my battery. My car was having issues starting. The day before my appt, it refused to start entirely. I got my car towed that day around 1130am. The tech(Andrae) told me they were super busy(the lot was full) but would try to get it done that day or at my scheduled appt. I got a call not 2 hours later saying they looked at my car already but needed extra love to be repaired. They said the part won't be there until the following day though. I okayed the services. I got a call before 4pm saying they managed to get the part AND install. I don't know what sort of magic they pulled, but I appreciate the amount of effort Andrae went through to take care of me. Thank you for making this experience as painless and short as possible.
