Non professional. Yelled and cussed at me when I was respectful and asked him if it could get done today. He crashed my car in the parking lot and refused to fix it. I wouldn’t recommend

Horrible disrespectful. Thiefs. Charged me for an inspection because I forgot my registration when i told them to wait to inspect it until I got back with my inspection. The owner then got rude and cussed me and told me to never come back. Humiliating in front of customers. They are vert Unprofessional and will over charge you for things you don't need. Beware!!!!

Horrible service and will charge you for repairs not done. Will do things to your car that you didn't ask to inflate your bill. Think long and hard before you take your car here. My parents vehicle still sits in same condition after going back to this place 4x. I wish i would have stepped in sooner. BEWARE!!!!!!

I have used this garage several times, they are reasonable priced and are fast. I have had my truck towed to the garage a couple times and they always work with me. They made the tow very easy.

Attempted to contact them in order to get my fleet serviced. Its one of many companies I run. Because i started the call in a professional manner, with my name and my companies name, I was told "I'm not interested" and hung up on. I attempted to call and explain and was greeted by "Joe's Pool Hall" from another lady (clearly bsing). So I made one last attempt from my cell phone, got Rick, and told him "I'm curious as to why you aren't interested when you don't know why I am calling? I could go down the list I guess." His response was "DO THAT". What a bunch of disrespectful, and judgmental individuals. My project would have been a minimum of 200-300k easily. I'm sure they could have used the work. But I will say, I will never take a recommendation from someone else again. This place is trash.

This garage was the ONLY garage from several I took my vintage Lincoln Towncar to and the problem was immediately diagnosed and repaired. Very reasonable with pricing and done when he said it would be. He actually listens to you.

I strongly disagree with his politics and would not have gone there if I had known they were trump supporters but they did the work cheaply and did a good job. I tried to get them to do the inspection too because I didn't want to go back to the crooks at goodyear but they wouldn't because goodyear had already done it and it would only cost $3 to get reinspected at goodyear vs the 12 for Gene's to do it all over again.

Not at all happy with the job they done . Took my truck to have the intake manifold gasket replaced and oil changed . Gasket got fixed but in the process they cut my EGR PIPE in half with no way to fix it now my truck is noisy and I have to take it to another garage . They also over filled my oil by one quart and they are really not very friendly at all . I'll NEVER go there again , Goodyear charges about the same and they do excellent work and treat you real good .

The first time I took my 2014 Ford Focus here for an inspection sticker, upon entry to the business, the man who sat up front in the window was very rude, not nice, cut you off when you were speaking, and very judgmental. The office lady was rude as well. You could try to strike up a conversation with her, but if you were not the family friend or a frequent customer, she would not give you the time of day. The second time going to this place, my husband took our 2011 Ford Ranger in for the inspection sticker and they had the same issues with the employees being rude. The office lady once again would not give anyone the time of day, until they paid that is, and the other gentlemen working were very snippy and rude. They did not even drive the vehicle out of their garage and had my husband and my MIL walk back to the garage and get the truck. (Good thing no one got hurt) They did not pass the truck for inspection because the windshield had a tiny crack in it from where a rock had hit the windshield. Overall, I would NOT recommend this business to anyone because they are rude and not customer friendly. This is obvious by the VERY LOW rating they have on Google.

I took my car there once for an inspection sticker. The mechanic said it failed inspection because the parking break needed to be tightened. He said that he put the vehicle in park and it still rolled. I asked him if he was certain that he put it in park first. He said he was absolutely certain that he did. Then I opened the car door so he could see that my car had a 5 speed manual transmission. Then I asked him how he put it into "park". His face turned bright red and he said "I guess I didn't notice that". The owner was "kind enough" to not charge me or put a rejection sticker on my car.

Car was running rough and Gene was able to fit me in on short notice. I see from the reviews he's not winning any personality awards. If you need to be stroked and greeted with a bubbley personality. This may not be your place. If you need a good mechanic and a fair price for the work. Check Gene's out. I work on my own stuff, so the thought of taking it to a mechanic was not on my list of things I wanted to do. Gene was realistic, factual, and short to the point. They diagnosed the problem, fixed it and found another. Fixed that one too. Car runs the best it has in years. Not cheap but a good value and fixed right the first time. I was in off the street and had a good experience. Chances are you will too.

Gene's used to have really good service. My family used them for years. However, in a period of 3 months I spent over 1200 dollars on brakes because they were not properly installing my brakes. I had to replace the pads 3 times and the rotors 2 times. Plus they replaced the calipers and brake lines that didn't even need replaced. I will never go there again.

Took my car in to be diagnosed over an overheating issue. He said I needed a water pump and thermostat. Problem is I just replaced my thermostat 5 days prior to this. So that told me he hadn't even checked my thermostat. The price he quoted me was insane as well. I just had my work done at another garage for 100 bucks cheaper and my car's back to normal now.

One of the better mechanic shops in Huntington. Took my truck to them, and finally after 2 years of problems with an overheating problem, it is finally fixed. I will definitely go back. Update. Overheating never came back since repair. Had to have higher temperature thermostat installed because it was now running too cool. Love these guys. They do the work they say and stand behind it. Hard to find these days.

He gave me a quote of 650 for a water pump issue. So I payed to have the car towed down there, then he swore to us that he never talked to anyone and never gave us a quote despite showing him a screenshot of the phone call. When I showed him the screenshot he got extremely rude and threatening and refused to honor his word and work on the vehicle. If hes willing to lie about that, hes willing to lie about other car issues. Would NOT trust him with anything I own. And after talking to other shops in the area, I've heard more stories of him being like that to customers and them having to fix Gene's problems. Only got 1 star bc I had to give 1. But be very aware of how bad he is.
