I love these guys. Fast, honest, and super friendly. His business partner literally gave me a ride to work last year when I dropped off my car. I called around asking a million places for quotes and they were trying to charge me double what this guy quoted me. Highly recommend.

The hip hop generation destroyed the cycle of supporting black people and businesses legitimately. Just like this business owner music career this glass and tint business is garbage. The customer service is horrible because he doesn’t know how to address his customers respectfully by their name by sir, Mr., or Ms. and doesn’t know how to take ownership of poorly done installation of their work. They did a poor job of installing the windshield and when it rains the it now leaks in the vehicle. The tint job is horrible too one of the worst I have ever seen in my life. They all need serious recommendations for eye examination and glasses because Stevie Wonder can see that they don’t know what they’re doing. Went back several times and they still can’t get it right. This business operation is garbage. Please avoid this “Homeboy from Out of Space Operation!!!!”

Amazing service! Safe-lite wanted close to 500 for a passenger window replacement with an appointment in 2 weeks (only to call back and cancel because my car was too old for them to have the glass in stock). Called Gentilly Auto Glass and not only did they have the window but they could install it immediately for less than half of what Safe-lite wanted. Will be using Gentilly Auto Glass again for all my auto glass needs and will sing their praises to anyone who needs their services. Big thanks to all who work there.

I had 2 window regulators replaced. It only took about 1hr and half I was surprised how fast they were. Went to pickup up truck and everything was fine except my driver side window didn't go down everytime we hit the switch. I didn't understand why but Detroit was very patience with me and explaining that the switch must be bad. I wasn't happy but I understood so now I have to replace the switch and then I'll be a happy client. Thanks again for the time spent with me. I would recommend these guys .

I gave these people an opportunity. Took my car for a Windshield replacement 3 days ago when I drove the car I noticed airflow coming from the windshield so I took it back the next day, so they could make it right. I told them that it wasn't completely sealed and told them that they didn't put back the trim on the sides correctly. they tried to say that everything looked fine but they agreed to check it they said they will put more sealant . Today while driving on the highway one trim fell off putting me and others in danger. when I inspected I noticed that they broke the trim and just glued it on. The windshield isn't completely sealed either. Now I have to pay to have it replaced again plus I have to get the parts they broke, installed. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY DONT CARE.

BRAND NEW WINDSHIELD LETTING WATER IN. I called Gentilly Auto Glass on March 25th to get a quote for a new windshield for my Buick. The gentleman who answered was professional but clearly busy. He told me to text the year, make, model and vin number to the phone number I called, and that he would respond back with a quote. I did exactly that, and two hours later I received a quote via text for $352. I was fairly swamped at the time so I couldn’t take the car in right away. A couple of months later I reached back out and made an appointment. On the morning of May 21st I took the car in for repair. I returned to his garage to pick it up around 4pm the same day. When I got to his garage to pick up my vehicle, he told me that the repair would be an additional $50. Apparently there was a mistake regarding the ordering of the windshield. It caught me off guard because I called to tell him I was on the way so he could have let me know this over the phone. But I went to the nearest ATM and withdrew the additional $50 for a new total of $402. I handed him the money, he handed over the keys, we exchanged a handshake, and I hopped in. Aside from some black debris they missed on the dashboard everything seemed to look good. There was no more long crack in my windshield anymore, and all of my display signals seemed to be working properly. Unfortunately, the big rain on Father's Day told a different story. I had water on my dashboard, in the cup holder and worst of all on my touch screen. The following morning I reached out to him to report what happened. He answered in the only way you would want someone to respond in that situation, “ bring it right in”. So I took it to the garage around 10 or 10:30am. I was working and wouldn’t make it back to his garage before closing. We spoke on the phone and I agreed to let him hide the keys where I could find them and pick up the car. I picked it up around 6:30pm. This time there was no debris but some blue painters tape along the top of the windshield. It rained for the rest of the week so I covered the car that evening and the following morning to give whatever he did the proper time to cure. A few days later after a hard rain the same thing happened, water in the car. Then I knew something was off. Mistakes happen but when given a second opportunity to make it right, any professional worth their salt will go above and beyond to make sure the problem is resolved. So I took it to another windshield company to get a second opinion. He only looked at it for about two minutes before he told me it was a “bad install”. He said he could tell by the height of the windshield compared to the height of the hood and then he showed me. He said that they either didn’t clean properly before installation, or it was the wrong size. He finished by saying that there was no way to seal it as is, and the only proper way to repair it would be to completely remove the windshield which can't typically be done without breaking it and even if he managed not to break it the seal would still be unusable. I am now scheduled for yet another windshield repair with another windshield company. However, this time isn’t due to a crack in the windshield, it’s due to shoddy work.

Got a new windshield here last year , the wrong size windshield was put in my Camry. Popped wires for my mirror when trying to force the glass in. I had to get a replacement windshield and take my car back to Toyota for wiring and to reset my sensors.
