I had a flat tire and received the best service by Keaton and Kenney today. I have told three friends already about the quality customer service I received at Goodyear on Chef Hwy today. Both of these gentlemen went above and beyond not just for me but I watched them with other customers. I will be returning for all of my car services because of the great care these two gentlemen gave to me. Great job Keaton and Kenney keep up the great service you both have!

While my son and I were driving to work (his first day), my tire burst on I-10 at the Highrise. I went to Goodyear and experienced exceptional customer service. I informed the representative (Alex) of the urgency of the situation and he graciously expedited the matter. The gentlemen were absolutely wonderful. I’m in Louisiana with no family so I had no one to call for help. After trying 4 other recommended tire shops in the pouring rain, I simply walked in Good Year as my last stop before going to work on a spare tire. Alex assisted me, helped me choose a set of good new tires, AND they dropped me off at work so that I wouldn’t be late. They took the time to pick me up so that I could get back to my vehicle with a smile. They are Angels and I am truly grateful.

I only go there to get my oil changed changed or anything done to my brakes and tires. I will never go anywhere else they are 100% amazing, Kind, caring, understanding. They go above and beyond to help a lady who is by herself to make sure that she is totally fine before she leaves there store... Every time I've been to the Gentilly Chevrolet location, it is a poor experience. The last time I went and the last time I will have gone was to get a rim for my car. I was told that it also needed a wheel alignment so I followed up with Gentilly Goodyear. They told me that the alignment was fine but the balancing was not done properly (it would be 20 for a balance but the ones that put it on should do it free). I went back to Banner to check my options. It was 70 dollars plus tax to get my four wheels ballanced or they could hold it over the weekend and get it back Monday and maybe have something done to it (price on option two unknown). Matt was ready to let me know how much he hated his job and how much he hated being there on the weekend. I'm sure he wanted the commission from my 70 dollar sale. I took it back to Goodyear, told them the crap from Banner, and that I would take the balance they told me about. Goodyear did it free. It may have been easy for them, but Goodyear got my future service and good word of mouth. Banner won a 1 star review and not having to deal with me again.

Today, I called in first to check if this Gentilly Goodyear store location had my vehicle size tires. And they did! I needed 4 new tires! And the salesperson Charles Scarbrough was able to work a great deal on my tires. Plus with me using my Goodyear credit card, I am eligible to receive a awesome $150 mail-in rebate from the Goodyear company! So, I received DOUBLE Discounts for my troubles. I was well please with salesperson Charles and the store manger Alex for assisting with getting my vehicle back up and running with a smooth ride. Thank you! I recommend this Gentilly(NOLA) location. They are friendly, courtesy and patience. Plus, I was told that they would have me out within a 1hour and before the time I needed to be gone! And they delivered their promise! Thank you, again!

I've been bringing my cars here for over 10 years and never had a problem until now. Got an oil change and tire balance and rotation on a brand new car with 4800 miles on it and at the time perfectly balanced factory wheels. Just did the service to avoid doing it later. Had to have one tire replaced due to a sidewall bubble so no big deal. I got the tire myself since the didn't carry it and brought it back to get installed. After it was done I left and took quick ride on the I-10 to check the balance and the back of my car was bouncing like a jack rabbit. I brought it back and the staff looked confused as to how the wheels weren't balanced right. It was like they didn't believe me. They tried again and it was exactly the same as before. A 9 month old car turned into a shopping cart by Goodyear. I give three stars because of all the great service I've received over the years but now I'll have to try somewhere else. I know things don't always go right the first time so I'm patient. It was the reaction that I got when I returned that irked me. I am over 50 and have had over a dozen cars and I KNOW when the wheels are not balanced but somehow my experience doesn't count because the machine says it's right. I took it to Goodyear in Metairie and paid for another balance and it was better but not right. A guy even flagged me down on the I-10 because my tire was bouncing. What's up Goodyear?

The workers are always helpful attentive to the customers needs. Now the manager is a totally different story he needs to learn how to talk to customers. He can be rude & he acts like return business isn't an issue. If you don't know how to talk to people and treat people like they matter then you definitely shouldn't be a manager. My opinion he definitely shouldn't be.

Was in a jam with a dead battery. Store mgr, Alex really helped me out. I’m a disabled vet and had a VA appointment shortly after. I told him I’d figure it out if they couldn’t do it. Tires were good but I made the mistake of leaving personal items in MY CAR!!! But I should be able to leave things in my personal property… Needless to say the thieves who work here stole two very sentimental (and somewhat expensive) items from me 😭 I will never return to this business and I suggest anyone looking for good honest work don’t go here because if they steal they lie. Which brings me to the service. I was told that my car needed to be serviced in other areas other than the tires I brought it in for and it was a safety concern. They gave me a ridiculous price tag and had me afraid to drive. I brought it somewhere else and had it looked at by a trusted mechanic. i did need the work but it wasn't the picture they painted when they lied and stole from me. AVOID THESE THIEVES AT ALL COST!!!!

We (2 disabled women and 2 kids) were stranded 3 states away with a utility trailer blowout in what would be considered a "sketchy" neighborhood and yet the guys there were amazing. They were very friendly, helpful, kind and did their best to get us out and on our way despite the fact we were right in the middle of a tropical storm.

Great service. Traveling from out of town and on the highway I hit some truck tire treads that tore my covering underneath the car and it was dragging on the ground. I called and talked to Charles about some help. He told me to come in and they could see what could be done. I got there within 30 minutes and his attendant (didn’t get his name) corrected the issue within 30 minutes with plastic cable ties that will hold until I get back home to fix at the dealership. Best part… they would not charge me for the service. So, I gave his attendant a good tip. All that excellent help and not even charging me. They saved my long weekend and made a happy wife!!
