I took my truck to two different mechanics who couldn't figure out why I heard a squeak. I took it here and they resolved the issue in one day for me. Great customer service. I highly recommend.

Will definitely be back for another visit when the car is in need of help. The work was done well and the owner and employees were pleasant to work with. They had neighborhood suggestions while I waited which was icing on the cake.

I was a walk in yesterday and they were able to take care of me immediately because it was a small fix, but causing me to be unable to drive safely. They told me upfront they may not be able to fix it, but if they weren't able to, would get me in a position to at least get to the dealership for a OEM part replacement. They really care about helping people get back on the road safely.

I scheduled an oil change online at Meineke.com and showed up late and in a hurry but John and his team had me taken care of and back on the road in a matter of minutes! Go see John and his very friendly and professional guys and gals at the Meineke on Canal St. in New Orleans. Good people.

I don’t normally leave reviews for businesses, but I had to for this one. All of the employees and technicians are extremely friendly and helpful. I brought my 2020 Dodge Charger in for repairs after a collision center failed to fix it properly, and Meineke Car Care Center was able to resolve everything in just a few days. Their pricing is very affordable, and they even offer a monthly payment plan. Alex, John, and the technician who worked on my car — you were all incredibly helpful, and I’m so glad I came across your team. I’ll definitely be recommending this location to my family and friends, and I’ll be returning in the future for any repairs I need. Thank you for your excellent work!

Recently had a routine oil change service. Very friendly staff, service was quick and the best part was it cost me $0 out of pocket… I was able to redeem my Meineke Rewards points for this service✌🏽.

I have never been to any dealership with Suchnice and accommodating employees. They bent over backwards to get my car fixed promptly, kept me updated on the status, and performed First rate service. I highly recommend them and I’m going to use them for all my automotive needs

I rent a car through Lyft services. I brought that car here for a wheel alignment and brake check. My appointment was for 2pm I brought the car at 1pm. When I arrived I politely asked two team members was it ok if I dropped my car off early. They politely said yes. I proceeded to let the staff know that this was a Lyft rental and asked if they were familiar with the process. I then proceeded to ask if they thought that I’d get my car back today. They informed me that it’ll most likely be tomorrow because they have to wait on Lyfts approval and so on. They were very familiar with the process and answered my questions respectfully and I was very appreciative. I then proceeded to leave the vehicle and uber home. Fast Forward- after two hours of my car being at the location I received a call from (205) area code, luckily I picked up the call. The guy calls to inform me that they no longer accept Lyft vehicles because the invoice is paid 6-7 months after the work is done, which is understandable. This frustrated me because I informed their staff upon arrival of this matter. I let the gentleman on the phone know that this is very inconveniencing for me being that I asked particular questions upon arrival and now I have to pay for several Ubers. I asked that they do better with training their staff. He then proceeded to get frustrated and talk to me “smart”. I will say that when I went into the establishment that it felt welcoming and they seemed to be on point, but this was a very lackluster experience. I won’t return to this establishment. I know some of you may never run into this issue because most likely you’ll be getting “your vehicle” serviced, but this is my experience and it is very INCONVENIENCING.

Response to reply: I was sent an invoice for the same repair that was done on my car in April. Also I did not wait 30 seconds for you to find my keys, you frantically searched around the shop for several minutes. You apologized profusely and even had to call two people to locate them, all that happened in 30 seconds?? The way that you interact with dissatisfied customers on Google maps says a lot about your character and the way you run business. Like I said in my previous review, don’t bring your car here. I had them fix my car back in April, I had to leave it twice because they didn’t fix both issues I took it in for the first day. I ended up spending $1400 for both repairs. Fast forward to September my car is having the same issues as before, I took it to another mechanic and he told me to bring it back to Meineke as the problem I was having was related to the work they had previously done. When I brought my car in to Meineke the mechanic at the counter assured me that the issue with my car was related to the work they did and that they would take care of it. I didn’t hear anything back for several hours, I had to call and was told they hadn’t figured out what was wrong and that they would call me back. When the manager finally called he said that the problem with my car was a new issue that would require more labor. I was sent an invoice for $542 to replace my thermostat that they had just replaced in April. I was also charged for having them look at my car even though they didn’t do any work. On top of that when I went to get my car the manager couldn’t find my keys, he had to search the office and the work floor to find them. I will never bring my car here again and you shouldn’t either. They did not take care of my vehicle properly the first time and tried to charge me more to fix the problem they created.

The quality of customer service and level of knowledge this team has is unmatched. I understand that Meineke will probably be a little more expensive than mom and pop shops, but this franchise IS family owned and has that feel. The mechanics take time to explain the work in detail AND they have always worked to find me a deal on parts. Especially if you have a Honda, or an older model car (I drive a 2002), GO TO THEM!

Had compressor and condenser replaced. Had an issue, came back and they covered it under their warranty. Every time I went, my tires were refilled on air, I never even asked for that but they did it anyway. Customer service was great, everyone is super nice, helpful, and competent. My gut says it is probably not the cheapest place to get certain things done since they have greater overhead from franchising and corporate admin systems but their prices are reasonable and I think it is easily worth it for the quality customer service and efficient and excellent work.

Love the staff. They are friendly, explain things thoroughly, and seem to enjoy sharing knowledge. I also loved that they didn't try to upsell me on a lot of additional repairs. They fixed what I brought it in for. They mentioned some things that could be addressed in the future, but acknowledged that nothing was critical and it could wait until I bring it in for a larger problem in the future, if I cared to address them.

The assistant manager Alex was very honest, compassionate, just over all a breath of fresh air in the face of tragedy . He couldn’t deliver good news about my car , so he made sure to deliver a wonderful experience. If the car was worth fixing , I definitely would let his team do it . I really appreciated the humanity. Thank you .

I have video evidence of the owner, —according to the guy, cursing me out and threatening to put his hands on me. I have it recorded. The phone was in my pocket recording the encounter. Now to the encounter: The guy who says he’s the owner was upset with me because I wanted to use some of my Meineke reward points on my wheel alignment. For clarification purposes, I have thousands of Meineke rewards points and I have spent over 15K at Meinke over the last couple of years. I wanted to redeem a few hundred points for the alignment or tire balance, which the customer had the right to do, according to the Meineke website. I never said one disrespectful remark to the guy nor did I show and signs of frustration and I never raised my voice. All of a sudden, he starts slamming his hands down very hard and in aggressive manner on the counter, and cursing me out. Then threatening to put his hands on me. I responded to the threat by saying, “you just threatened my, I’m going to now leave.” He then comes outside and throws my keys in my direction. I called then police, who didn’t do anything. At this point I would like to release the video on social media. It was a sickening experience for me. Even an employee told me that he treats many customers like that. I will say, that I’ve had great experiences at other Meineke’s. But please consider this review before supporting that business.

I ask the sale person to check/replace my front right brake caliper. It was sticking. Instead, she did a full brake inspection and charged me 90 dollars without my permission. Crazy!! I had already told her I only wanted the caliper replaced, but she was hell bent on doing the 90 dollar inspection. She then told me I must replace both calipers if I plan replace one. Not true. I have requested my unauthorized charge from Meineke. I had my caliper replaced at the local garage. Thanks

Make ya feel right at home! Bobby is an excellent mechanic. Not only did he fix my issue with good advice on what to keep my eye on, but also gave me a new key battery on the house.
