I requested an online estimate that was provided to me, and that looked good to me. I gave them my make, model, and VIN and was finally scheduled for an in-person appointment. After taking time off from work to bring my vehicle in and driving 30 minutes to their facility on the day of my appointment, they told me they don’t perform any work on cars of my make. I would have appreciated more respect for my time and personal commitments. I don’t recommend working with them.

This was the worst car repair experience I’ve had. Avoid. 1. They tried to make me pay prior to doing any work, and it wasn’t until I got my insurance on the phone for them to back off. Car shops are so backed up (had waited 2 months at that point so I went forward with them because I didn’t feel like I had a choice) 2. They told me to expect a month wait. It took them SEVEN WEEKS to repair. 3. Their communication was horrendous. I started out getting texts updates twice a week, but that dropped off. I’d call the shop and the front desk didn’t know anything and nobody would call me back. It was infuriating. 4. They did agree to meet me with my car at the light rail, which I appreciated enough to let everything go and wasn’t going to post this review, but when I got my car, the blinkers were going crazy. It was because they didn’t even put the light bulbs in. No way I wanted to deal with them so I just went somewhere else to get them installed because my hand couldn’t reach the blinker bulb. their incompetence cost me out of pocket of course. Don’t go here if you expect a reasonable time frame, basic communication, and your car to be in 100% working condition when you get it back.

They did good work on a previous vehicle, so I went back to them for a different one. Once completed, I actually had to come back for a warranty fix. I worked with Patience and she was wonderful! She kept me posted on when the parts would come in and the condition of them. She made sure the parts were in great condition prior to having them installed. She scheduled me in and I got the work done in a timely manner. It was a pleasure working with Patience and her awesome service made everything easy!

My insurance company recommended this place to do some minor body work on driver side door. All of sudden my airbag light started to come on and then they recommended additional work to "fix" the issue. Tried telling me that my dealership sold me a car that the airbags didn't work. Took my car to the dealership, ZERO issue, and everything works fine. This place is SHADY. The ladies at the front desk are nice and helpful, but the manager and the adjuster Tonya, terrible business practices.

Went to get a small rock chip fixed in my windshield, a service covered by my insurance. Instead they created a 4 inch crack which can only be fixed by replacing the entire windshield. According to my insurance company, this often happens with this kind of "fix". But did Gerber tell me this? No. Did they tell me what had happened? No. All I got was a voicemail saying, "It's done. Hope it works for you." No warning, no apology. I came back, got my keys, went out to discover the damage and when I went back in for an explanation they had all cleared out of the lobby and hid in the back somewhere. Rather than chase them down, I called my insurance company to complain. I'm getting a new windshield now, but not with these clowns.

Sorry! It took me sometime to gather the words to describe how happy I am with the staff and Rob at Gerber. I can say through everything I was going through that I have renewal of faith in the kindness of people. Rob went over and above to get my vehicle fixed for me after the Insurance company denied my claim. Rob took over my issues that it was his own. He felt my pain and misery. The staff took my phone calls and never seemed to be like “It’s Andre calling again” by the end of all this we all felt like we were old friends or even family l. Oh ya did I say I was with out my truck since May…. Only one complaint is with the corporate office they knew my story and knew I didn’t have the funds to pay in full and wouldn’t let me pay payments. I am fortunate enough to own my own home and refinanced my home for the charges that accrued. Once again Rob and the crew did a 10/10 on my truck and 10/10 on customer service. Corporate gets 4/10 for not having any heart and only thinking about there bottom line…

USAA members, please don't come to this Gerber Collision for service if you expect fair and respectful treatment. On 5/8, I went in to pick up my vehicle. It was covered in dust and spray. I asked to have it washed so I could inspect the repairs. After washing it, they asked me to take it look. It looked like they moved some dirt around with a quick hose down (see photo). The lady then told me it was my fault it wasn't clean and that I should have come and got it the same day it was ready to prevent them from getting it dirty. Sorry, I've never been at any car business we're it's my fault my car got dirty in their care. Then she left me hanging in the lobby to report me to the manager. 30 minutes later, they rewashed my car. I'm sorry, but if this is a part of thier 4 star quality experience, then I humbly ask my service brothers and sister to take your business elsewhere to avoid this level of customer abuse and frustration. They totally earned this one star.

Quite rude staff. My insurance sent me here after another Gerber ghosted me when they damaged my car during repairs. This store all but accused me of lying about the damage, and said that if I have a problem, to take it up with the original store, regardless that my insurance sent me here.

My vehicle went into the shop 3 different times to be repaired and was at Gerber (or a dealership they transferred it to because they couldn't fix it) for over 6 months. The first time I picked it up they pulled it around to the front of the shop with standing water in the passenger front and rear floorboards. I had been misinformed so many times, that I lost trust in the repairs and what they were actually doing. I would get information something had been completed, but then called the next day and told it needed to go somewhere for the item to be completed. Ultimately, the vehicle was totaled after a 2nd opinion from another shop found a buckle in the main pilar 2 inches below where they cut it off to repair the top. The only positive thing I can say is that Gerber covered my rental car the whole time it was in the shop, including an extra week after my vehicle was totaled.

I’ve had two vehicles repaired at this shop. They have quality work which coincides with expedited timeframe. Update as follows after repairs were completed I noticed the passenger side fog lamp was not properly installed which caused burning of the lower skirt. In addition, the quarter panel has screws missing. No Quality Control check at all!!!

I had a new car, it got a dent on the front fender, farmer suggested Gerber I brought it to Gerber at Kent, the employee came outside and looked at the car, I explained I wanted the fender replaced and I only wanted the fender painted he said they were slow at the moment and he could have it done real fast and he would go in and order the fender. 2 weeks had almost gone by I asked if it was done, he said the fender was repaired. I asked you did not put on a new front fender? He said no. I said I told you I wanted a new front fender it's a brand new car I did not want Bondo on the car and the dent was on a crease. He asked what would make me happy and I said do what you told me you were going to do. Also again I said don't paint anything but the front fender. He said it would take another week of rental car insurance cost. So now I was up to 3 weeks of rental car cost the next week I called in again and asked if it would be ready by Friday, he said he would try to get it done, he would rush it. I went in Friday to pick the car up and he goes it's not quite ready yet, he pulled it out 25 minutes after closing, it was raining hard and it was cold out, so I really couldn't examine the work because it was getting dark also and it was wet. They told me I have to wait 3 months before I can have it washed in a car wash. Couple weeks later I noticed that the fender cladding wasn't attached properly and I noticed the hinges to that front door were rusting. When I got past the 3 months I brought it back to the Kent office. And showed my concerns.

The worst places to fixed you car i will not recommend this place. They took almost 2 months to fixed my suv not only that they left some greasy spots inside on the fabric also they replaced one of the rims they never transferred the the tire sensor i actually went to fixed that on my own. Also they put a black sticker on one of the doors they fixed it looks terrible i talked to them they said the will fixed it again i have not heard from them anymore. Definitely not great place

My new car was swiped by an uninsured driver on the passenger side fender. It was a simple fender replacement job. My insurance company Geico recommend this location. I dropped my car off and Sandy at the front desk only and she had a rude attitude from the beginning . I was called in five times to tell me my car repair was complete however every single time I showed up there was something wrong. when I went in to inspect and pick it up there was always a different issue. Sandy told me "well just take your car to Toyota to fix the rest". I told her Toyota doesn't do body work or review body work. She went and told my insurance adjuster the same thing and Becca from Geico calls me and yells at me to take my car to Toyota so I called Toyota and put John on the line from Renton Toyota and he tells her that they do not do body work or review body work. Last week I got a call it was completed and this was the third time and I went down and the hood was misaligned. I don't understand why they touched the hood it was perfectly fine and I showed them the before pictures after the accident. I addressed the issue and left. Few days later the manager Jason called and left a voicemail demanding I pick up my vehicle because the work was completed. I called him back and specified if the hood was aligned and he told me it was and he had personally checked the quality himself. I went in the next day and the hood is misaligned he didn't do anything. I once again addressed the issue and told him he wasted my time. I found broken pieces of plastic on the hood and he quickly took it from me. Jason and Sandy have no integrity or honesty. They lied to my insurance and my insurance was blaming me for not accepting the horrible they did. Today I was called and I finally took possession of my vehicle. It was a horrible experience, Insurance companies are bad enough because they just want a cheap fix and not pay much. This shop is incompetent and extremely dishonest and unprofessional. Only patience was honest and helpful. DO NOT trust Sandy and Jason the manager. In the voicemail message I posted it they claimed " I didn't like the bracket" what happened was they broke it and the fender was loose after they replaced it. So I told them that was unacceptable and they are responsible. At first they said they were going to request Geico pay for a new one but Patience called me and said don't worry about it they will just order a new one so Indirectly taking responsibility. My car had stains and tool marks on the trim as well as debris all over. Car was brand new No respect for people’s property.

This was one of the shops that my insurance worked with/recommended for repair. The whole process was smooth and painless, from the friendly front staff to the estimator/liaison (Herb) and all the texts with updates that I received. Had the car back in basically brand new shape about 4 days early, so that was a pleasant surprise. Overall, I'm beyond satisfied with the quality of work, customer service and speed of repair. I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone needing auto body / collision repair. see photos of the before/after: they replaced the front left quarter panel, paint matched the whole front left side of the car, new mirror assembly, fixed a dent in the hood, had the suspension realigned and a few other things. Drives as good as before.
