My daughter's car that I got for her was hit, and State Farm told her to take it to the Gerber Collision & Glass located on 255 Parris Ave., High Point, NC 27262. The manager there made complaints to State Farm concerning the car, and then refuse to do any repairs on the car. On a three way call with my daughter and the State Farm agent, this same manager proceeded to fuss and cuss at my daughter while on the same phone call. He made accusations that my daughter was using the accident to get her car fixed from previous accidents, which was not the case. With the State Farm agent still on the call, this manager belittled my daughter to the point that she started to cry and very upset. She was told to come get the car, because they would not be doing the repairs on it. On 10/04/2023 I when to the place to pick up the car, and I expressed my feelings concerning the incident about the phone call. That same manager that had all that to say towards my daughter walked out of his office, and proceeded to try to defend himself concerning the phone call. During this exchange he never apologized for his actions, but doubled down on what he said during that conversation. After I said my peace he then when to get the key for the car. When I went out to the car I saw that they did not even put the car back together, and all of the parts that were taken of the car was in the back seat of the car. The Manager's name is Lane Maurray, and if this is any indication of how your company is ran I will not be doing any business with you. I am also going to take a complain to State Farm concerning this business and yours. The funny thing is that I have dealt with your company before, and I liked the way that you use to do good work. Kimberly thomas your office dropped the ball was supposed to take 3 days n then I was told 3 weeks after me telling them I couldn't be without my truck for 3 weeks they called and arranged me a rental car only to try to Bill my insurance after knowing and being told 3 different occasions I didnt have rental car insurance.

There was a 3in RED mark on the back drivers side that wasn't there before, to which the office manager SPAT ON HIS FINGER and tried to rub it off, leaving a disgusting white film! He first very defensively said,"I don't know where that came from. We didn't do that, " I said, "it wasn't like that when I brought it in." I proceeded to show him the thick black 2-inch mark on the damaged side. He apologized ,saying, "I checked this 1000 times." He then advised that I'd have to leave my car another day. This was extremely inconvenient. I was on the phone for 2 hours, between the insurance co. and another rental agency trying to get a car. When I returned to pick up my car, the receptionist was in the bathroom and the off.mngr. was in the office. When she came out, a lady told her I was there to pick up my car. She looked at me and said, " Here ya go," as she handed me my keys. No, hello, thank you. I apologize for the inconvenience NOTHING . The mngr didn't even come out to speak. WHY?? My wife's car was rear ended and we brought the car in for repairs here. We had another car repaired here in the past and that experience was great. This time was no different. They did have to keep the car longer than originally estimated, BUT they kept us updated on everything happening with it and washed and cleaned the interior and exterior of the vehicle. After it was all said and done the car looks amazing and they made what is normally a very frustrating process very simple. Thank you!

My wife and I have been long time customers of this body works business and not all because of wrecks, just one of those. All the jobs they've done on a variety of my cars have all been 10 of 10. The very best work I've ever experienced. On my one wreck, it turned out to be a better car than when I bought it originally. You will pay a little more but your satisfaction will be met I have no doubts. This place will always have my business.

I had a very interesting experience with Gerber. After a long while on hold, the receptionist told me (with attitude) that I wasn't able to get an appointment for several months. After I said that was fine, she then, very upset, told me that they actually had appointments that same day. (Of course, I took it, and the car came out great.) I would not have used this shop if my insurance didn't require it. Anyway, unfortunately, I would have rated this place 5 stars if I didn't have that strange, awkward, and vaguely hostile interaction with the employee. I mentioned this to the pick-up driver, and he laughed and named her instantly (further saying that many customers have rough words to say about her). Weird stuff, people!

I did not have a good experience. This was my 1st encounter, through USAA, with Gerber. Their communication was very lacking and unorganized. They had my car for a whole month. During that time, they called me numerous times to tell me my car was ready or would be ready the next day and then it wasn't ready. The only way I'd find out it wasn't ready, was by calling. The didn't call me to tell me things had changed and one time I waited 2 days before calling, after they told me it was ready, only to be told they had to take it apart again. I understand things change, things come up, but it's important to communicate with the customer. Also, not saying it's ready, until they're 100% sure would also help. Very frustrating. After getting my car back, I also noticed that there was mouse poop in my trunk and it had chewed holes in my car cover. I was so annoyed.

I had to come re do my review unfortunately, my grandfather took his vehicle here to be repaired for hail damage from the recent hail storm we had locally in high point archdale area. We'll mind you they took it there for hail damage he received a call stating they couldn't roll the windows back up or get them to roll back up so they informed him he needed a new window switch, the windows worked fine before the vehicle was taken there I know for a absolute fact. Well long story short he paid out of pocket to have the switch replaced well they got the car back and proceeded to come home and the vehicle caught on fire and totally burned to a crisp. They did not take accountability like they needed, my grandfather is a honest man and he wouldn't be driving a junk vehicle that the windows dont roll up and down on. In my opinion they more than likely had to repair dents on the doors and had to remove the interior door trim. Therefor something happened to the switch well my grandpa had to go buy a new car out of his own pocket and gerber didnt take any action to make it right. And it isnt like they don't make any money to be able to make a issue of such right. They fixxed a vehicle of mine and honestly I said I was pleased but I think I was just happy to get my vehicle back. Side marker lights ended up being not hooked up correctly and I had to go back to have a badge installed a week later. Do better I hope my top ten percent Google review status makes anyone happy as customers.

Had my car worked on several months ago. When they “fixed” it the side panel was not adequately attached and the paint job was not blended with the rest of the car. Took it back and they said they had to order a part. It has been several months and we still have not heard from them. Would not recommend this body shop.

This is by far the best body shop ever! When they finished with my bumper, you would never know it had been messed up. They not only did excellent work on my car but cared for me as an individual. I would not recommend them unless you want your car to be totalled at the end. One body shops (modern) quoted me approx. 3k but they didn't have any openings. So my insurance referred me to these people. Close to a month and they had my car at 9k. The hood was lifted just a smudge. My bumper was not hit. They never mentioned anything about my frame. They sent me a message that they were about to paint it and my estimate at the time was a little over 9k. I was confused on how it went from 3k to 9k. The messages that they were sending me throughout the month didn't mention anything extra demages they found on my car. So I called the insurance and questioned the bodyshop's pricing and how close they were to the threshold. Next thing that I knew I received a message from my insurance company that my car was totalled. I was very upset. My husband had to go pick up my items. When he got there he said they had all my items in a bag already. He was able to see my car and the hood that they put on there was from a junk yard. So you are telling me that the hood from a junk yard and the paint cost close to 10k????? By the way as I talk about this place to others, this have happened a lot with other customers! Beware!!

Hail damage. Vehicle in shop for 7 days and they damaged vehicle - 2 cuts in dash, hole in headliner, scratched interior plastic, didn't put vehicle back properly and grease on headliner and visors. Was forced to take vehicle back because Allstate would not allow another shop to fix their damage. Second time vehicle in shop 13 days and they did not fix dash or headliner plus damaged even more - two chips in paint, scratch on door, scratches on bumper, they didn't put two things back together properly and didn't clean the shop debris out. Filed BBB complaint and Ncdot. They had inspected vehicle five times in addition to drop off inspection and photos I took and are now stating that they aren't sure they caused the damages. The vehicle had less than 4,000 miles 2025 model. This is going on three months and a brand new vehicle still has 11 things wrong. Do not utilize this company even if you have Allstate which is in contract with them.

Gerber did a great job on my 2023 Toyota truck. I was nervous about whom I took it to. I met with Toyota first, but I didn't feel comfortable with the repair they were offering. I met with David at Gerber Collision. He put me at ease so I put my trust in him. David kept me informed by phone even though I would receive a text message. My truck looked great. David is wonderful and I highly recommend Gerber collision
