They did an excellent job in repairing the vehicle. It looks great! But they did not communicate. They did not email me. They did not keep me updated as far as the progress of the car. So I wasn't real happy with that. But the car looks great. I just got it washed and waxed today and it looks fabulous.

I appreciate this company being so informative and being very understanding of my needs. The repairs are taking a little bit longer than expected, but it is getting done the right way and not being rushed. I have had my car here twice . They are the best !!! They guarantee their work for life. That is important to me. A few weeks ago I was having a problem replacing my headlight. I had had my car there two or three years ago for them to repair somebody had backed into my car and they replaced the headlight and repaired the bumper. My light went out and I couldn't get the cover off to replace the light bulb. I took my car there and they got it off for me they had a hard time also. But they got it off and I got my bulb replaced. I would recommend them to anyone they have excellent customer service.

Update: The shop called back and communicated more after the review. I wish it didn’t take that but I did. After that, the shop took ownership of the situation and made it right. I am glad how the vehicle came out and the work good. —————————————————————————— Worst communication from a “reputable”business. Initial estimate was way too low to entice the insurance company to approve repairs. Once they commenced, it kept going up. They had to order a broken part at the end of the repair to extend the repair. They knew the part was broken from the beginning and they decided to order it at the end. They have extended the initial repair from 2 weeks to now over a month. They never call to say they need more time. I have to be the one to call to get status updates. I wish they knew how to to do better estimates. Not reliable at all.

Highly recommend this shop. I took my 2017 Dodge Challenger for repairs to the front end from an accident. They kept me updated during the 2 weeks they had the car. When I picked up the car I noticed a few minor issues, they made me an appointment to bring it back in a couple of days. When I brought it back, they were very accommodating giving me a rental car considering that is my only vehicle. They even bluffed out a section of my hood that wasn't covered by my insurance as a courtesy. I got the car back in 1 day and it looked great. Stephanie and general manager John is absolutely professional and cares about my satisfaction. Very satisfied with the overall experience. They went above and beyond. I'm in the automobile repair industry and understand what customer service is. Thank you

I requested a 24 hour notice for car pickup. I was only offered 2 texts a week for Updates. I was texted in the morning the estimated time of finished repair was 5 days away. then I received a phone call a couple of hours later saying my car was ready in one hour. Second issue my bumper panel has popped up. I tried to get worst case scenario information on customer care if my vehicle was to be kept. What sort of customer service would I be eligible for in order to put my mind at ease. Only the manager can decide this on individual discussions. No set customer care policies are made you have to take it up with management. So far disappointed with convenience of being dealing with gerber. Update. The gm did call and kindly listened. He stated his desire to help reduce the stress and wanted to reassure me that he will take care of our repairs in way that will put my concerns at ease. Thank you for addressing my concerns in a professional and positive way. Good customer service!!

I got back my car after they replaced my door, they did a good job repairing the door, butI don’t know what happened at the shop I don’t know what else did they do, but there’s somethings wrong with the car when drive it home. so I popped the hood when I got home and checked my engine oil was empty. Like how did that happened? And saw part of the hard plastic cover hanging under my car.

The front desk girls were well organized and I had no issues scheduling any appointments. I mainly spoke with Brenda and she was excellent in assisting me. Chris was absolutely amazing in communicating everything going on with my vehicle both before and during the process, and ensuring that everything was finished in a timely matter. In fact, I was able to pick up my car a day early! I am very thankful for the help and the service received here. The only slight negative I’d say is that the price did end up being a couple hundred higher than the quote due to some stuff found after disassembling the vehicle. I don’t blame Gerber though, nor did I mind it anyway since insurance was covering my payment. Overall a great experience!

Update: After my initial negative experience, I spoke with Robert from Gerber Collision, and I’m happy to say they’ve taken steps to make things right. It turns out I caught them at a bad time, and normal procedures weren't followed. Robert was professional, addressed my concerns, and even provided compensation to clean my car seats. While my first visit was frustrating, Gerber has shown they do care about their customers, and I appreciate their efforts to resolve the situation. Original Response: I brought my car to Gerber Collision for a simple bumper fix after hitting a coyote, expecting a straightforward repair. Instead, I received terrible service and now have a car in worse shape than when I arrived. Here's what happened: I was recommended to use Gerber Collision through my insurance and chose them because they’re close to my home and had previously repaired my car after it was vandalized. Initially, things seemed fine. They inspected the damage, took the car in, and I thought everything was on track. Two days later, I got a call from an employee named Chris, who informed me that my car had "pre-existing damage" and they wouldn’t fix anything. Not only that, but they completely disassembled my car, threw all the parts into the back seat on top of my clean blankets and leather seats, and told me to come pick it up because it was now my problem. The damage Chris pointed out was minimal at best, and I have attached a photo for reference. Despite this, they claimed they couldn’t fix it due to some frame damage, but instead of handling the situation professionally, Chris had a terrible attitude the entire time I spoke with him. I had to spend my own time and money to tow my car away because it was left in an undrivable condition. The only person who seemed to try to explain things was John, but even then, the explanation didn’t justify the lack of effort. I trusted Gerber Collision to take care of the issue, and instead, I’m left with a disassembled car and a huge headache. As a college student in my last semester, the last thing I needed was this added stress. I will never return to this shop, and I strongly advise others to avoid it. Make your own judgment, but based on my experience, I would not recommend Gerber Collision.

Unethical, poor paint quality, 4 weeks to do a 1 week job, exchanged my 20 inch rim cooper tire new spare tire with a 18 inch bf goodrich used, unspeakable condition. They had to take it down, there was no need They removed my bed liner original from factory like new on truck and replaced it with a old shotty wornout bedliner. When i complained to allstate and the manager They said show me pictures of bed if truck? Then the spare tire rim a 18 inch. When mine was a 20i ch and i had just bought new coopers and can prove tire shop etc. Then the decals the day i picked up truck was 84 degrees, the decals were falling the next morning in my driveway. After calls to allstate adjuster etc. I received 1200.00 from allstate and rhe new gerber manager on cheyenne agreed to replace the ram decals, but not the spare tire that disappeared or the rim. Or fix the paint job from poor quality. They said i could be lieing and that the paint job from a keying vandalism that took 4 weeks was fine and lifetime warranty I no longer have allstate as if u go on u tube alot of bad reviews of gerber on cheyenne and allstate gave them 7300. 00 plus my insurance paid for 4 weeks of rental car. A small little compact. DO NOT GET BODY WORK PAINT OR GLASS AT GERBER COLLISION AND PAINT. BECAUSE I AM A 76 YR OLD SINGLE WOMEN. MU FAMILY WANTED ME TO SUE THEM. PLUS I THOUGHT THE AGENT WOULDBREPTESENT ME AND PREVENT SUCH A BAD PAINT JOB ETC. I KNEW TO TAKE PICTURES OF KEYING, BUT I DIDNT KNOW TO REMOVE MY SPARE TIRE AND RIM, AND TO TAKE PICTIRES OF MY BEDLINER. SO UNETHICAL.
