It's rare that I'll go out of my way to write a bad review, but here we are. I went up to this Walmart to get the battery on my car replaced. Not a warranty job - just a simple replacement. Talked to the guys to set it up and they told me it would be an hour. An hour later I get a call from the shop. I'm told they "can't" do the replacement because there's some corrosion on the terminal and the clamp holding the battery in place. "So I waited an hour to be told you won't help me?" I asked. "Yes. Sorry - I was on my lunch break." So my impression: this shop just doesn't do stuff they don't want to, and they don't really care if it inconveniences their customers. Avoid this place. They don't care about you.

I went to three different Walmart auto centers before I came to this location trying to get help with my battery. Tasha and Ivan were incredible and went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They were so so so amazing. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

I believe that 3 hours for an oil job is unacceptable IF you are the 4th car to get there first thing in the morning. I have waited far longer for an oil change before, but that's when I've come later and there were a lot of cars in front of me, so it's not just about the time. What really upsets me is the policy, which I'll explain below. After 2 hours I asked someone why it was taking so long, and they told me that the manager makes them prioritize tire repairs over oil changes - It's supposed to be first come first serve, but even if I'm there first for an oil change, and 20 people come after me for tire repairs, they will all get service before me. That is an asinine policy, and just plain bad customer service. I will not be going back there again.

This place was great. I was having a rough morning with a dead battery, I took it to this Walmart and the employees got to me immediately. They were nice and funny, they really made me feel better. They told me what they were going to do and an estimate on how long it would take. I can't stress enough how nice and helpful they were they really made my morning better and they finished replacing my battery in like 30 minutes even with a line of cars. I will be coming back again and will recommend it to everyone.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotaion at the end of September. They didn't balance my tires and holy crap my oil was empty in November. They didn't fill my oil. Watch out people...read the reviews! They are real and management doesn't care

I had a similar experience as other reviews. I sat out front for 10 minutes, no one came out to check my car in. I went inside to ask and he told me to go back and wait by my car. I waited out in the heat for 35 more minutes before someone came out to check my car in. There were 2 lanes open and 3 cars total but he told me the wait was 3.5 hours. With all the bad reviews you’d think corporate would step in since management obviously doesn’t care. I’m sure they don’t even service enough cars in a day to cover those lazy employees salary.

Vehicle was brought in Saturday the 4th for an oil change scheduled at 4pm. Vehicle brought back at 4pm and sat in the garage for hours. Work didn't begin on vehicle until after 7pm and was not complete until after 8pm. No apologies no communication, oil sticker not changed , gave my daughter a small coupon. Two days later my daughter had a scheduled maintenance and repair at a mechanic shop that advised the oil was dirty and sludgy. The cap was stuck and it took two people to remove it. It was clear that Walmart never replaced the oil.

let me tell you, do not bring your car here if you care about your vehicle or your money. Being a mechanic, they either are forced to rush, don't care about time, or just don't know what they're doing, there's no requirements to work there as well, take your car to quiklane if you want proper service

I went in for an oil change. I overheard the lady in front of me waited 3 hours so I figured they were busy on my 4 hour on the dot Mark. I got up and I asked how much longer for my car and the lady told me the car was on "cancel". I asked why and turns to Find Out. He put the sign on the wrong car so I was sitting there for four hours. Nobody told me anything. Nobody updated me about anything and it was their mistake. I asked for my car back and I just went across the street for an oil change. It only took 15 minutes At Valvoline

Here is another one star, I think that this shop likes to collect one star at a time. The worst tire shop

I've been to this location 3 times and experienced great service. I went once for an oil change, and twice for tires. All 3 times, I was taken care of in a timely manner, and waited less than an hour for my car to be finished. They can be a bit understaffed at times, but even then, a female manager stepped in right away to make sure I was checked in quickly. I also did not have to wait outside long when I pulled up. No one ignored me, or left me there for a long period of time. Maybe I just caught them on good days, but I would still go back for any maintenance needs. I'll admit, I've never really been a Walmart person, and usually would rather go anywhere else, but I find myself at this location frequently to get money orders, groceries, and toiletries, and always have good experience.

Charles was great! He checked the warranty on my battery, helped me find a replacement, and installed it all in under 30 mins. He was so helpful and kind. I’m glad I came here!

Arrived at 5:15 for an oil change only to sit around for 30 minutes with not a single person to come and talk to me. Went inside and was told I just have to pull up to bay 1 or 2 (which I did) and someone will come check me in (which no one ever did). 10 minutes later a mechanic came up and said sorry we’re closed. Thanks for wasting my time.

Walked in yesterday with two wheels need to purchase two trailer tires. Trailer tires are in stock, but the desk says we can only do one if you want us to do both you have to make an appointment for later in the week. Wow? So would you guess Bentonville wants to sell one tire at a time? Or for that matter, send customers walking out the door with no purchase? Crazy

I came to get new tires and Im really disappointed as I had to come back twice for two different problems one being the TPMS and the other being the tire balance was never done on two of the wheels. What a waste of my time as it could of been done the first day of install. First and last time getting tires at Walmart.

Pretty Mid-Tier service, They will do what you want them to do but they rush… Service Manager the Tall Lady is something else… God forbid you bring a Non-American Car in there, they will get mad about having to do the oil change and complain about the car you own to you. Last time I got an Oil Change they bent my filter. If you want a quick and cheap oil change then come here but if you get butt hurt about the way people treat you or service you, save everyone the pain and move on to somewhere else.

The auto center manager here, Tasha, restored my faith in Walmart altogether, as same day a few months ago I cancelled both my Walmart plus and Sam's club membership after I waited 2 hours at the eastern 6005 Walmart for 1 TPMS for my tire, after asking as the tech told me to ask prior to check in, if they had em. They literally took my vehicle into the shop for a period of time, & ended up parking it back outside, sending a text saying vehicle ready. When the female mgr there scanned my ticket, she said the tech cancelled the job, saying they have no sensors in stock. It was unbelievable. Then, Sam's club here next to this tropical Walmart, they kept trying to overcharge me for the same 1 tpms. Mind you, the code and pricing are the same nationwide. I already got the 1st 1 in LA Habra CA. $35 for the sensor plus another $5 for installation and relearn etc. That Sam's club, part of the Walmart family, wanted $20 vs $5, & ended up charging me an odd extra amount like $48 & some change, after I had to go to the website & get a mgr to show proof of the cost. They were doing 1 vs all 4 or multiple tires to not warrant that $20 they wanted. After yet again having to request a mgr for the 3rd 1 for replacement after they already overcharged for the 2nd 1 & the staff argued with me, I cancelled the Sam's club membership. I don't respect someone trying to take advantage of me monetarily. The website is clear. You don't pay $20 for 1 tpms for reprogramming and relearning. That's for multiple tires or a set, not 1. This Walmart auto center here at 8060 tropical, once I saw they offer tpms replacement also next door to that Sam's club, & cheaper at $23 or so, now I believe for $28 or $29, still much cheaper than Sam's club, I got my last 2 here. Unlike that s rainbow Walmart on arroyo crossing I used to get many oil changes at plus a tire at a point for a replacement that took em over 4 hours to get me out for 1 tire in stock & trouble charging me for the prorate for it, this Walmart is actually quite a bit faster, The fastest I've experienced in Las Vegas altogether. That arroyo crossing 1 was my go to, but when you frequently book the 1st morning appt and only 1 person is around at opening and about an hour goes by before your vehicle is started, you feel bad. There's also a competence issue for ringing up tire replacements when you have Walmart plus and warranty. No one could really figure it out. I even called the Walmart customer service number during that visit. Customers time matters. It's not ok to waste it, & multiple hours of it, even with appointments, being slow for no good reason. I had given up on Walmart, & I am from AR where Walmart is headquartered. I daily shop at Walmart. Tasha here, The manager, she definitely restored my faith in Walmart for the auto care centers. She's smart and sharp, fast, & I notice when the guys in the shop can't ring up things properly, she is quick to show and teach em how to go about it. She definitely holds this operation together like super glue. They need her. The guy in the waiting room with me, he said he has been coming here 2 years, saying she has been here all of that time, agreeing with my sentiments about her. It is so. She knows what she's doing, & I witness her always teaching her staff. She even works the floor and checks customers in. When techs would tell me no or that only 1 of my 2 tires could be replaced, saying they don't carry the brand I know I got in store at fort Apache walmart a prior year, mentioning only 3 brands, Tasha said otherwise. They had the tires in stock at that time, and I got both as needed, all because of Tasha. I didn't want to review this store and bash the others, but it was imperative to detail my experiences across Las Vegas to a real extent to understand why I left my memberships and then returned. The techs treat me nice too, and they remember me. I come often. I feel most comfortable here and right at home. They are worth their salt here. Around the holidays when they had fudge, I even got offered some by Charles.

I hardly ever find the premium versions of Valvoline in 5w-30, and restore and protect is currently only available in 0w-20. Please keep your oil section better stocked. Thank you.

I had a great experience at this Walmart Auto Service Center. I originally had two appointments scheduled for tire swaps, but the team went above and beyond and was able to fit me in earlier while I was walking in between their already busy schedule. The tire swap was done quickly, correctly, and with zero hassle. Huge shout-out to Chris, Luis, Charles H., and Tony for their professionalism, efficiency, and great customer service. It’s clear they care about doing the job right and taking care of people. I really appreciated the flexibility and communication throughout the process. Highly recommend this location if you need tire work done.
