I would honestly give 10 stars if I could . I got a flat at the worst possible moment on my way out of town and the team at Sun Auto were so kind and let me come in with my dog. This shop is definitely NOT diagnosing timing failure They are just upselling. They told me I have head gasket failure however I have no Overheating, Coolant disappearing, White exhaust smoke, Multiple cylinders misfiring, Constant pressure in cooling system. They also suggested I do work they supposedly did for me 30 days ago.

I’m having difficulty understanding how to leave another review. I accidentally deleted the previous review which involve bringing in my Honda CRV and my Land Rover the CRV needed hundred thousand mile maintenance stuff valve cover gasket filler things that you would expect the Rover needed tires and an oil change I can’t remember what else I wrote, but I dealt with the mainly Scott, but also Kevin And the service was good and I got a good information and I didn’t feel hustled. Since I’m trying to redo my previous review, Sun Auto has already has a response down there so the date might not match. If anybody has any idea how I can leave another review on all years because they did a great job on my Land Rover again but that’s another story.

I went in for a diagnostic and was very displeased with the service! Went in knowing that nothing crazy serious was wrong with my vehicle and went to see about a couple codes on my dash and to check my ac. But being quoted $97.50 for low beam bulb labor and $58.50 for a cabin air filter is diabolical. After looking over the quote the math didn’t add up I decided to not go through with the service. I did not get my vehicle back the way I left it. They didn’t bother putting the air filter back or the glove compartment in its place. And when I was trying to check out for the diagnostic I was being charged 800$ once I let the receptionist know that no service was done on my vehicle she removed $400 after explaining I was only going to pay $125 diagnostic a mechanic had to come out and confirm that I was only going to pay $125 for the diagnostic because she was still trying to over charge me and was very nonchalant about it! Very displeased, will not be returning, and will be taking my vehicle anywhere else!

I have been looking for a great automotive mechanic shop in the Vegas area for 4 years now. I've been taking advantage by one other place here and they took a lot of money from me. My wife found them online and I took my truck to them to get repaired and they did exactly what they said they were going to do and exactly what time it was going to be done. They're very honest and the biggest thing I like about this company is there Christians and it's very important to me. So I want people to know how honest and trustworthy this company is.

Scott and the team here at Sun Auto are the definition of what a good team of mechanics should be. Took my car in for an oil leak, they found some other critical items that needed fixing. They worked with me to make sure I got everything I needed at a very fair price They were completely up front with exactly what needed to be done. No runaround or trying to get me to pay for extra, unnecessary services. Kind, courteous, professional, and they do immaculate work. This car has never run better. I will never go to another mechanic as long as I live in Vegas. If you need anything done just go to sun auto. I've never had a better experience. Thanks again to the team. Just drove into an appointment they reset a check engine light at no charge and need a complete oil and filter change and tire rotation with synthetic oil and I was out of there in less than an hour. This was the cleanest, most straightforward repair experience I’ve had in years. They respected the diagnosis I gave along with the note I placed in the overnight dropoff envelope, stuck to the quote, and had no nonsense. Before calling this shop and speaking with Kevin and Keith which were extremely helpful, I called a few shops around town, and they couldn’t even give me a quote out the door without trying to push diagnostics. I knew what needed to be done. I came in to this shop knowing exactly what I needed done, and there was no unnecessary back and forth. That’s why I’ll be back. Happy customer here 👍🏾

We haven’t been here in over 3 years due to purchasing a new vehicle and it coming with warranties. However, we bought an old car (2015) for our daughter and knew exactly where we would take it. This shop has always been honest, hardworking and has never failed us! It’s wonderful trusting them to always complete the job- and let us know if it’s not worth repairing (hence buying a new one). I really appreciate that in the 3 years nothing has changed- we still get great service and in a very timely manner. Headline: Beware the "Free Oil Change" Lure – A Lesson in Due Diligence I came in for a promo oil change, only to realize it was a lure for a high-pressure sales strategy. I was greeted by an advisor, Gauge, who pushed me to open a store credit card to get a "free" oil change. They used the "multi-point inspection" as a sales pitch, quickly quoting me $150 to replace my engine and cabin air filters—parts that cost about $20 total. When I questioned the price, Gauge promised to "price match" if I showed him the $20 price online. I showed him the exact parts on Amazon, but he immediately went back on his word, claiming the lowest he could do was $65. He then tried to "deal" by offering to only change one filter for $20 or having me buy the parts elsewhere for him to install. I refused to be duped by these games and told him I could Google how to do it myself. I’m proud to say I figured it out, changed both filters in minutes, and saved $130. I have since closed my account and will not return. I refuse to give my hard-earned money to a business that casually exploits people without remorse. To everyone else: Do your research. Some repairs require a pro, but for the simple things, don't let yourself be exploited. I'm moving on with my money and my dignity intact.

I went to Sun Auto on Blue Diamond today for an oil change and had an absolutely excellent experience. The service was fast, professional, and very thorough. They checked the entire car, clearly explained what was in good condition and what might need attention in the future—no pressure at all, just honest and helpful advice. The pricing was very fair, which was a great bonus. Special thanks to my service advisor, Gage—he was outstanding. Extremely helpful, friendly, and professional throughout the whole process. If I could give a zero, I would what they did to me was horrible. They lied to me. They didn’t even check what I asked to check. They told me that they flushed my system, which was an absolute lie cause when I looked in my my radiator system it was full of dust and dirt and it wasn’t even halfway full. They did not replace the radiator cap because he said I didn’t need one. He did not replace the thermostat which is what he paid what I was charged For. They did not show me the work that they did. They then said oh you were right you do need a coil pack we just don’t know which one and wanted to charge me and outrageous amount for it which I denied because I already felt that I was being lied to and I didn’t appreciate that. Therefore, I’m going to sue after I speak to him tomorrow I already left another post please do not take your vehicle there if you want to be ripped off and lie to I don’t know what step I’m going to take next, but I refuse to be ripped off. I’m a single woman and this is not Acceptable. Everything anything and everything that he said to me was a lie and absolute lie and then 15 minutes later, my engine light came back on, so don’t go to Sun auto on blue diamond don’t go to any one of them if if if you really want your car to be safe and I also will be contacting the lead head Manager whoever that may be and I will be contacting a lawyer because everything they said was a lie and nothing was done. I’m not a fool when I looked into my radiator where you put the water. I can’t think of the name right now. It was full of dirt and it wasn’t even halfway full. I have a Dodge charger hemi 5.7 they’re very delicate and I’m very upset right now and I’ve never had this happen to me and he will be accountable for it. Do not take your car there and that’s what I think of your service you will be hearing from me again you will not be paid as a matter of fact, I may be suing you if there’s any damage that has been done to my vehicle by your negligence and you’re lying to me about what she said you had done, which hadn’t been done. I do not put up with things like that. It’s absolutely unacceptable and it should not be tolerated amongst this community your son Automotive is a disgrace.
